This was a great trip for our family! The kids learned a lot. They are 10, 12, and 16. Very informative. The driver was great! He gave us drinks and snacks which helped keep the kids calm. And even gave us an extra 15 mins to see the show. It was absolutely worth it!

The pick-up and drop-off worked out great, and our driver/guide was friendly and helpful. The tour allowed time for the boatride out to the Arizona memorial, and an hour or two in the various museums..but we actually would have preferred another two hours to see all of the exhibits and halls. But it was very well-priced and everything ran smoothly.

Pearl Harbor Tour

Siwei_K, Mar 2026
Went well on the day that happened to be not overly crowded. At first , a local guide Roland picked us up from hotel and dropped off Peral Harbor, handed us with pre-purchased voucher - entry to the site by informing me what is going to do next two hours, we also watched movies on the history of Peral Harbor attack. another guide Vanessa gave us a tour of download Honolulu after Peal Harbor visit. Had one brief stop for us taking pictures of King Kamehameha I. Filled with both education and entertainment out of this tour.

A must if you want a small tour of pearl harbor and honolulu

Amanda_L, Mar 2026
Vanessa our tour guy was very knowledgeable, super sweet and funny. She did great Pearl Harbor was amazing and I learned lots.

The tour went off without a hitch. I appreciated the text I received the day before giving me specific instructions on the pickup location. Our driver was delightful, informative and very entertaining.

Pearl Harbor experience

Sandra_C, Mar 2026
We really enjoyed this tour, David was great! An extra hour would have been nice, it was a little rushed.

Skip this tour bad from the start

Renee_R, Mar 2026
started out bad. Tour stared at 9;30 am. Texted company at 10:03 am.( Where is our tour bus) called at 10:05 went to voicemail, left message. No communication at all. Tour bus shows up at 10:11am. Then had to pick up another couple. That couple was just as upset. They called 3 times. Approximate 5-hour tour. he's already running late. davids excuse was they were repairing potholes. I'm sorry but I'm on vacation and I shouldn't have to get aggravated because the tour company is late and there was no communication saying so. If you knew things were going on in town then you should have started out earlier to pick us all up on time. Driving to Pearl harbor could not hear David at all so I had no idea what he was talking about the whole way to Pearl harbor. I have to ask him to put on the AC on n the bus. When we got to Pearl harbor we waited 10 minutes in the car. Why I'm not sure. Everyone in the back of the bus could not understand him or hear him correctly. Another 10 minutes outside the bus to give us instructions on where to meet. When in Pearl harbor another 15 minutes explaining where everything was. Hot dogs over there, brochures over there at least 3 xs. Finally gave us our tickets. We had 20 minutes to wait before we went on the boat to go see the memorial. I asked him if he could get us back by 3:00 pm. And he said no we would have to take an Uber or a taxi. So we took a taxi back into Waikiki. $70 bucks. Never got to see the city tour. So I do not recommend this tour at all. Bad from the start! Also he was very monitored so even when he was in front of you it was hard to understand him.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Dear Client, Aloha Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Your pickup was scheduled within a standard arrival window of approximately 9:30–10:00 AM. Your driver arrived at 10:11 AM. While slightly outside the window, this is not considered a significant delay given real-time operating conditions in Honolulu. On that morning, heavy rainstorms caused rapid road deterioration, including the formation of potholes, and active repair work created additional traffic congestion. These are conditions that cannot be predicted with precision and directly impact travel times across all operators. Regarding communication, we are not a call center. When calls go to voicemail, it is typically because our team is actively assisting other guests or drivers in real time. All tour times and pickup estimates are communicated as approximate for this reason. As for your request to return by a specific time, our tours operate on a fixed schedule designed to deliver the full experience, including the Pearl Harbor visit and the Honolulu city tour portion. Personal scheduling constraints outside of the tour itinerary are not something we can accommodate without affecting the experience for other guests. In this case, the driver clearly advised that if you needed to be back earlier than the tour’s expected conclusion (approximately 3:15 PM), the appropriate option would be to arrange independent transportation. The decision to leave early resulted in missing the city tour portion, which was included and would have been provided had the tour been completed as scheduled. Traffic conditions, weather impacts, and government site operations all contribute to variability in timing. These factors are outside of operational control and are the reason all timing is communicated as approximate.

Pearl Harbor trip

Vt_M, Mar 2026
Humbling and thought provoking experience. David McArthur is an amazing tour guide! Be sure to walk thru the USS Arizona memorial and also see the names of sailors inscribed on a giant marble wall.

Worse company

Pamela_M, Mar 2026
I was appalled that they canceled 5 minutes before our meeting time. It left me to have to either not do anything or fend for ourselves. I will not ever recommend your company to anyone ever.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Dear Customer, Your tour was not canceled by our company. On that day, Pearl Harbor was closed by the United States Government due to severe storm conditions in the State of Hawaii. Pearl Harbor is operated by the U.S. Navy and the National Park Service, and when weather conditions create a safety risk, they have the authority to temporarily suspend public access for visitor safety. As soon as we were informed by the authorities that Pearl Harbor operations were suspended, we immediately notified all of our customers. This situation was completely beyond the control of any tour company, including ours. For the safety of visitors, when the federal authorities close Pearl Harbor due to weather conditions, all tours must be canceled. This policy exists to protect tourists and staff during hazardous conditions. Your reservation was confirmed, tickets were secured, and everything for your tour had been prepared as scheduled. Unfortunately, the closure was a government safety decision caused by the storm, not a decision made by our company. As required under these circumstances, a full refund will be issued. Because the cancellation was due to a federal government safety closure, we respectfully ask that you reconsider and remove your review, as it does not accurately reflect the situation or the service we provided. Thank you for your understanding.

Pearl Harbor with pearls of wisdom

Bonnie_A, Mar 2026
If rain is predicted take a rain jacket! Pearl Harbor is such an iconic monument to show respect to those lost. After our tour of Pearl Harbor our tour guide, Roland, drove us around to see sites around downtown Honolulu and tell us about the history of the sites. We enjoyed the tour!

Very easy to use the app to reserve tour. Friendly and well experienced driver/tour guide enjoyed it very much.

Visit to Hawaii

Hal_R, Mar 2026
Poor communication. Driver showed up late and then left us at Pearl Harbor during a major storm and wouldn't return until after 4pm. The Park was closed two hours earlier and we got a taxi with two other couples back to the ship for a cost of $20 per couple. The rain was terrible but the whole experience would have been better if the communication would have been better. The message were were given was vague saying you're driver should be there at a certain time. "Should be" doesn't install any confidence. I put this charge on my Amex card. I am going to ask for my money back plus the taxi fare.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Dear Hal, Aloha Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. On the day of your tour, severe weather conditions affected operations at Pearl Harbor and resulted in decisions by the U.S. Government that were outside of our control, including the early closure of the park. When federal sites close or alter operations due to weather or safety concerns, tour operators are required to comply immediately. Weather conditions that day were also significant enough to disrupt normal tour schedules and traffic conditions throughout Honolulu. In these circumstances, timing estimates provided to guests can only be approximate. Messaging such as “the driver should be there” reflects the reality that exact pickup times can be affected by weather, road conditions, government site restrictions, and other operational factors beyond any tour operator’s control. Our tours are planned around the normal operating schedule of Pearl Harbor and coordination with federal site management. When weather events cause sudden closures or disruptions, adjustments must be made in real time. These types of circumstances, including weather impacts and U.S. Government site decisions, are not something any private tour company has authority over or the ability to override. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Need More Time

Hettie_A, Mar 2026
This tour does not offer ample time to truly experience Pearl Harbor’s offerings. We watched the movie and went to the Arizona Memorial, but did not have enough time to see all the site has to offer like the museums and grounds to walk through.

Response from Host, Mar 2026

Dear Hettie, Aloha Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. This tour is the shortest and cheapest tour that we have. This tour as mentioned in the inclusions only includes the USS Arizona Memorial, the visitor center and museums. It does not include all of the other sites at Pearl Harbor. You are complaining that this tour does not include things that are not included with the tour. Its like ordering fries and complaining that there was not drink and burger with it. It is unfair to give us a negative review for what is not included in the tour. If you wanted longer tours, we also have those, they cost more but includes more attractions at Pearl Harbor. Once again thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you

Don’t miss this one

Our tour guide Vanessa was amazing. Try to request her. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. She also has a very good sense of humor. I highly recommend this tour. I got emotional at the Arizona memorial. It’s very moving.

Great experience

James_B, Mar 2026
Our driver/tour guide Dave picked us up at our hotel and was very friendly and accommodating. Dave filled us in on what we were to experience at Pearl Harbor and guided us every step of the way. Pearl Harbor was a very informative and humbling experience. After pearl Harbor, Dave took us on a tour of Honolulu and had many stories and facts to give. The tour itself was great but Dave made it amazing. Thanks Dave. Highly recommended.

David was AWESOME and extremely knowledgeable. He made our trip very memorable. We will definitely recommend him to our friends and families.

Great experience!

Paul_J, Feb 2026
Pickup and drop off at our airport hotel. Sooo easy! Vanessa was knowledgeable and made it fun. Instructions were clear about getting into and out of the Pearl Harbor National Park with a visit to the Arizona Memorial. Not too long, but not too short for the trip to Pearl Harbor and the city tour after a long week of touring and vacationing in Hawaii. Thanks for a great experience.

Very good!

John_J, Feb 2026
There was a hiccup in getting the tour started due to a reservation error made by the tour operator which was corrected but delayed the start by 20 minutes. Other than that Dave was great and conscientious in providing the best experience. This was a great value for the price paid and gave us a very good Pearl Harbor experience as well as brief city tour drive by including punch bowl cemetery drive through.

If you absolutly want to see the site of this tragedy

Remi_K, Feb 2026
Aside from visiting the shipwreck site to see the names of the victims and pay respects, there isn't much to see. If you're interested in the history of this tragedy, that's fine, but personally, I could have learned just as much online. The film is interesting, but nothing special. I thought we would be able to see the wreck underwater. We only see a part of it above the water, and oil is still leaking from it, supposedly to symbolize the blood of the victims! I think it's more likely they're just avoiding paying to empty the ship's tanks. If that's the case, they should have at least cordoned off the area to prevent pollution.

Response from Host, Feb 2026

Dear Remi, Aloha Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. We do believe that you comments are misguided and disrespectful toward those who sacrificed their lives on December 7, 1941. You seem very uninterested in Pearl Harbor and the history of the attack. The wreck if the USS Arizona is a grave site as there are still US service members in the wreck which serves as their grave. The Memorial above it is their grave stone. There are several reasons why you can't go underwater to view the wreck. Pearl Harbor is still a military base. As a grave and a memorial, out of respect, nothing touches the wreck. even the Memorial does not touch it. As a large warship, you would not be able to see much more than what you can already see, and there was no will to build some sort of underwater observation area. Had you actually paid attention, the museum explain exactly why the oil was not removed from the wreck.
