This was nice start to our morning. We joined our guide at the expected meeting point. This tour ended up being a private tour as the other group cancelled. You get to see the uniqueness of this part of downtown with our guide pointing our historic building and explaining the difference in style. The highlight of the tour was a visit to the Dock Street theater. We recommend this tour.

An easy walking experience with a well versed and knowledgeable guide. Gordie was amazing! Great knowledge mixed in with humor. Tons of interesting facts about the History, architecture of Charleston. Really took his time showing us everything. His enthusiasm for his town was infectious Loved it all!!! Definitely recommend!

We enjoyed our tour with Geordie very much. His comments were thoughtful and factual regarding the history of slavery in Charleston. We saw many historic sights, including churches and government buildings. The walk was pleasant too. We recommend this tour!

Excellent tour and guide. Jordy was very knowledgeable about Charleston. As well as historic buildings, streets and laneways, he described the history of the people of Charleston.
He included the history of slavery and connection to current events.
Jordy was very approachable and adapted to the needs of the group.
Note: take his advice on local restaurants; we did and we were not disappointed!

Great tour. My 12 year old and I really enjoyed it. It was a 9:30 a.m. tour so the streets weren’t crowded with people, which made for a better experience. Also meant it was just us and our guide. So it was a more personal tour and better discussions. We discussed local history, architecture, literature, and just fun random stuff along the way. Geordie was great.
