Viator gave horrible directions and we ended up missing our tour. But the guide was kind enough to be willing to wait for us, we just did not want to hold the group up any further. Tour company fabulous, Viator screws us once again…should have learned my lesson by now!

Ghost tours can be cheesy, but this one definitely wasn’t! It was more storytelling based on real historical events, with the idea of hauntings raised as possibilities resulting from the macabre events of Boston’s “dark side”. Stephen was knowledgeable and engaging. I recommend an evening tour to enhance the eeriness.

Do not purchase from this website. I spent $116 on three tickets for my husband and my son's birthday. They never showed up the phone number is fake. I've tried calling there is no one to answer. Fraud!!!

Hi Dolores, I am sorry that we were not able to meet up with you but this is the first notice we've had from you regarding this tour. I checked and neither the office nor the tour guide have any missed calls, texts or voicemails from that night. We also have no emails or Viator messages. I do see that you were not checked into the tour that night so I have asked Viator to refund your tickets; but we are real small company and as you can see from other reviews; guests who take our tour enjoy the experience. Viator is a third party company so we do not have control over what information they put on the ticket; but from what I can see the office number on account is accurate and is monitored at all tour times. We have no unanswered messages from the past month. Your refund should be with you shortly and if you don't mind; I'd love if you can reach out to us directly so we can figure out what happened. As I said, this review is the first time we were notified that you had an issue.
We recently took the Dark Ghost Tour in Boston with Stephen as our guide, and it was an unforgettable experience. Stephen’s deep knowledge of Boston's haunted history, combined with his captivating storytelling, made the tour both chilling and fascinating. He had a way of drawing us into the eerie past, sharing stories that painted vivid, sometimes horrifying, pictures of the city’s dark history. Stephen was not only informative but also polite and accommodating, ensuring we felt comfortable throughout the tour. If you're in Boston and enjoy ghost tours with a historical twist, I highly recommend this one!

We were the o my ones who booked for our time slot, so it was basically a private tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had lot lots of interesting stories about Boston’s dark history.

Stephen was a fantastic tour guide who drew you in with his fascinating story telling. We enjoyed learning about Boston’s history and the ghosts who haunt the Boston commons and surrounding area. He was kind, welcoming, and intelligent. We felt a little spooked at times based on the stories (which we wanted), yet still felt at ease learning! I would highly recommend this tour as it is small and private, leaving more room for meaningful conversation. I would do this again in a heartbeat!
