Not much to do at the stops. Just buildings to see from the trolley. Thot we could get off at a stop and get back on at another stop. Good luck finding it. Maps were almost worthless and the stops were not clearly marked. Disappointing to say the least.

The Hop-On Hop-Off Trolley was a good way for us to see and visit the main sights of Boston. The drivers, especially Crafty, were very knowledgeable and entertaining as they told us about the city. Unlike other hop-on hop-off buses that usually get used for transportation to different areas, this seemed to be much more of a tour. It’s great for individuals wishing to just ride & sightsee, but a little inconvenient for those using it also as transport.

It was a great experience. We got off our cruise ship, had our luggage held at Boston’s Amtrak South Station, spent the day enjoying Boston and our tour guide Timbo and walked back from the Boston Tea Party to get our luggage and catch a $2.80 bus to Logan airport. Timbo was a great guide - he knew the area and made it come alive. Our second guide was not as knowledgeable, but good.

Good way to see highlights if you are short on time or not. Tour guides were friendly and Mary(possibly Mariann) easy to understand and even stopped traffic so we could all get a great shot of the statue of George Washington in the park.

Was denied bus ride!!!

Booked through Viator, had tickets (offline) through Viator app - when the trolley came to the stop, the operator denied us because he said he didn't recognize the tickets. Didn't bother to help or look into it further. Took time out of our day to get it sorted out and we missed half the day of touring because of it. In the end, we had the RIGHT tickets, for the corresponding service so we spent money on something we only got to use for less than half the day!!! Shouldn't the operator's be more helpful to sort things out? Waste of our money considering we didn't get fully what we paid for.

Busy Day in Boston

I caught the trolley at the cruise terminal. Long line and few seats on the first 2 trolleys that arrived-6 and then 10 seats available. Close to 75 people in line. I think empty trolley's should have been sent considering there were two cruise ships in port. Our first driver, who was also our 3rd driver, was excellent with the history and stories about the area. Minimum 30 min wait between stops. Again, only a few could get on at each stop-8-10 people with more waiting in line. Definitely not enough buses running for the amount of tourists in town. Was disappointed the trolley did not go to Harvard and MIT like ones in the past have done.

I love the fact that each hop on hop off trolley has a different vibe based on the driver. This is a driver narrated tour and although some are better than others, we have never had a bad tour guide. You see most of what the downtown Boston area has to offer. Well worth the $$$.

Easy access there is a bus every 15 minutes. The stops are at places you would like to see. The bus stops are conveniently located to all major attractions or within walking distance. Great way to cover a lot of ground in one day.

There was none. This was the worst excursion we had. This hop on hop off was always so full we could never get back on and after waiting for well over an hour at one stop had to call and Uber to get back to our shop on time.

Boston hop on and off excursion

The Boston hop on off trolley was terrible. We waited for hours at each stop because of no seats. Our last stop to get to our ship we never could get on. Had to then pay for an Uber. I want a refund We didn’t see mych at all just stood in line. Terrible experience

The trolley and driver were wonderful. Great experience. The reason I only gave 3 stars were the rude people riding with us. People talked very loud amongst themselves even when asked to speak in a whisper. It made it difficult to hear the driver. I was sad that there are people so in considerate of others.

Not worth the money

The waiting for a shuttle was in average 30 minutes. Often shuttle was already filled to capacity when it arrived. Spent more time waiting for a shuttle than actually touring Boston. Not worth the money.

Great service, but totally overbooked

People were super nice, but those who bought with the ship had priority. We were unceremoniously directed to a far away stand. After a half a mile walk to reach the stand (folks were totally nice and helpful there) - we were told we would likely wait upward of 30 mins for availability for a bus… we waited 15 mins and found that was the walk time to the area we really wanted to go, so we just walked there. We did get a pickup on the way back after waiting 20-30 mins, but there was no narration. Again, super nice driver/good service, but we waited forever for a non-narrated bus ride back. So yeah, about $130 for a 20 min one-way bus ride. They really just need more busses to allow for more frequent service or need to limit bookings.

Great drivers with exceptional knowledge and story telling. Stops at the historical areas were perfect.

The historic knowledge and story telling of each driver made the trip memorable. The buses were comfortable and there was very little wait time to hop back on after visiting the sites.
