The tour with Ira was great! He was very informative and had interesting content. It was also nice to have a small group and the headphones were really nice to have with all the road noise and other tour groups that were close by.

A Great Introduction to Boston

We booked this tour last minute, and am so glad we did! It's a tour that encompasses the city of Boston's history, as opposed to the more common history of the American Revolution. Ira walked us through gardens, parks, and numerous neighborhoods. It was a perfect first day in Boston and gave our family a great introduction to the city. The tour ended near the North End where we had some wonderful Italian food. There is a lot of walking and hills involved, so be prepared. Highly recommend!

Exploring Boston Not Just on the Freedom Trail

This was a fantastic tour of Boston, its history, and its architecture. My teenaged child and I loved the stories and insights we gained particularly about the Boston that lies beyond the Freedom Trail. The insights especially into the Back Bay, Beacon Hill, the Public Garden, and their buildings and residents was fascinating for this former Boston resident and my newbie child alike. Highly recommend for getting a feel for Boston that includes the Revolution but goes way beyond tricorn hats and 1776.
