Will was charming and professional with expert local knowledge. We both learned much about Hatcher Pass and Palmer from his personal expertise of the area as this is his home! It was a wonderful experience that proved to be distinct from all of the other areas we visited in Alaska. We are glad we went on this as we both enjoyed what we saw and learned a lot about the area surrounding Palmer from a local who represents his home very well. By the way, although we chose not to, you can try your hand at panning for gold!
