This Tour is Worth The $$—Maurice is amazing!

I took a private tour along with my sister and my sixteen year old daughter. We had Maurice as a driver. He was fantastic!! Maurice was extremely knowledgable about the city and the museums and monuments. He was funny and engaging and personally connected to and passionate about everything he was telling us. We got a glimpse into the backstory of the city learning surprising details of which we hadn’t heard before. I would highly recommend this tour—especially with Maurice as the tour guide!! I am definitely coming back to the city again because now I know what to go and see. If you are coming from out of town and you are not sure where to begin as you explore the city—I highly recommend that you start with this type of overview because it will help you know where and how to start exploring the city on your own when it’s over.

Walking Arlington was so inspiring

A LOT of walking but I expected that. The guide (Jim Garrett?) was outstanding and so considerate of my age and conditioning. He kept up a good pace and made sure we heard everything he had to say. The Changing of the Guard was less inspiring than I expected but the info on many individuals buried there just about brought me to my knees. Jim also graciously set us up with the shuttle to take us to my close Vietnam veteran friend (once MIA, home now) and I will be forever grateful. An excellent tour. I expected this to be a 'time filler' and it turned out to be the best one of our trip. Thanks again.

Fascinating and fun tour of the Archives

Perfect individualized tour

We had a lovely tour. It was edited for our specific desires.. And included (per my husbands request) a trip to Ben’s Chili Bowl. We included a visit to the Pentagon Memorial that I hadn’t even thought of and the new Air Force Memorial. A drive through Arlington Cemetery was not available secondary to the heavy rain conditions but that isn’t anything our driver had control over. All in all a wonderful tour.

Another great tour with Babylon!

Such a wonderful guide with Maribeth and the stories and insights were amazing. We couldn't get inside the Supreme Court but we were given info on what was happening there which was great. Seeing The Library of Congress was easy and she even came with us to the Galleries after the tour. Hearing her past only emphasised where we were and what we were seeing. Highly recommend her and the tour company!

This museum is best seen with a knowledgable guide

This place is ENORMOUS! Without Brenda we would have wandered around for hours and not really seen much of anything. BUT with her we were able to see highlights of some VERY interesting exhibits and hear stories surrounding them that made the visit most enjoyable. I can't imagine visiting here, especially for the first time, without a guide to help steer you in the right direction. We are very grateful to have Brenda share some of her wealth of knowledge. WELL WORTH the price.
