What are people saying about Washington DC

Perfect DC tour
We had an amazing private tour of Washington, DC and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Amin was a fantastic driver and guide. He is friendly, professional, and a big part of what made the day so enjoyable. We followed the itinerary for the most part, but appreciated having some flexibility to add or skip a few stops based on our interests.
Our favorite part was the convenience of it all. We got to see so much without worrying about parking, directions, or anything else, which made the experience easy and stress-free. It was a great way to explore DC, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting.

Only way to see the sights!
We had a great time on the night e-cart tour of DC with Jared! He was fun, kind, and very attentive—opening doors, making sure we got back to the right cart at each stop, and keeping everything smooth and easy.
He shared a great mix of history and fun facts, and with only four of us in the cart, it felt really personal. The e-cart was such a fun way to see the city at night.
Definitely the way to do a DC tour—highly recommend!

Best Curated Tour!
This tour is the absolute best way to see all the memorials in one day. Ahmed was a knowledgeable guide and knew how to drive around the city expertly and efficiently. Would recommend to anyone that has limited time in the city and wants to see as many of DC’s highlights as they can.

Annemarie was amazing!
Annemarie was absolutely amazing! She made sure no one was left behind and took the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly. She was incredibly thoughtful—giving us time to take photos and even offering to take pictures for us and others.
If you’re looking for a guide in DC who goes beyond general knowledge and shares deeper insights that most people wouldn’t know, Annemarie is the one to choose.
Thank you for such an incredible experience!

Perfect tour if you're pressed for time!
This was not the actual tour we took - this one was cancelled due to lack of participants, HOWEVER, the tour company added us to another tour which was the same except for the National Archives and Capitol Building. We saw most of the major historical sights in DC on this tour, and it was perfect given the limited amount of time we had in the city. Our guide and driver were amazing and full of knowledge about the monuments, memorials, and historical figures. I also appreciated that our guide mentioned notable women and people of color during the tour. We stopped in Georgetown to enjoy lunch (not included in price) and had a wonderful experience! Out tour ended near the National Archives, and our guide noted the lack of line and got all of us in, despite it not being part of the tour. Great day!

The stress free way to see the sights
This tour was the perfect experience for our little family. Christopher picked us up promptly at our hotel and ensured that we saw everything on our list since we had very limited time in The District. He even gave us restaurant recommendations that were on point! Great experience. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent
Tour guide was pleasant, friendly and engaging. She was so patient with us when my husband couldn’t find his way back to the meeting place putting us behind schedule. She was willing to go over the time allotted for the tour and go the extra mile to show us things we requested.

A Rich and Extraordinary Tour
We made the reservation for this trip knowing that my husband was only 5 weeks out from knee replacement and that it would be a challenge for any walking. We told the driver/owner this and he was more than accommodating and gracious. We simply needed to get out of our home and have mental stimulation. We are already planning a return trip with walking included. The tour was extraordinary and the owner has a broad and deep knowledge and understanding of our history, our national relics and current status of such. We had been to DC from NYC on several occasions in the past so we had piecemeal knowledge of this extraordinary city. His knowledge brought together so many aspects of our country's early beginnings, conflicts, wars and the monuments, buildings that are emblematic of those times. We even went to the Iwo Jima memorial which neither one of us had seen and were struck by its astonishing lifelike sense of movement, like the last soldier attempting to grasp the flagpole. We were both thrilled and sobered by all that our country has been through, all of the conflicts we have witnessed and look forward to having a continued emotional experience with our guide and owner once we can walk safely. This was a remarkable few hours for us with this knowledgeable guide who also provided asidesstories not usually found in guide books. Thank you -- we have been restored and look forward to being with you again.

A Knowledgeable, Respectful, and Engaging Guide with Humor!
Leigh was an outstanding guide at Arlington National Cemetery. She combined deep knowledge and respect with a great sense of humor that made the tour engaging and memorable. Her storytelling brought history to life in a meaningful way, and she made the whole experience both informative and uplifting. I highly recommend her to anyone visiting Arlington.

Excellent Archives Tour with Annemarie
We had an excellent experience at the National Archives with guide Annemarie. She has impeccable knowledge of the freedom documents, the paintings in the main gallery, and about the building itself. She was personable, friendly, professional, and fun to be around. It was like having our own history expert at our side. Highly recommended.

Must do Smithsonian tour
Christopher was wonderful. I learned so much and the 2 1/2 hour tour went very quickly. I would love to repeat this tour or book him for other museums as he is a wealth of knowledge. Learned much more from him pointing out specific/special exhibits/information that I ever could’ve done on my own.

Book the tour!
Our original plan was to tour the museum ourselves, but there were no tickets available during our stay in DC. However, an excellent tip if this happens to you: you can still get in if you book a tour! And actually, I’m glad it worked out this way, because Tim was lovely. Very knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. It’s a massive museum, even with a large portion being closed off for renovations right now, so it was good to have someone navigate it for us!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Exclusive and customizable, Washington DC private sightseeing tours are especially great for visitors who want to see all of the city’s key landmarks in a short amount of time. With a private excursion—whether that’s by limousine, luxury SUV, or minivan—you’ll work with the tour operator and your driver to prioritize your must-visit locations, with plenty of time for photo ops. Most private sightseeing tours include hotel pick-up and drop-off, which can also be a huge time saver for those with limited hours to spend in the nation’s capital.
