We had an amazing time on the food tour - Francesco (might have name slightly wrong) was an excellent host. We visited yummy spots and got to try all the street foods we were interested in. Francesco also encorporate interesting stories and historic details as we walked from spot to spot. We went with 5 people ranging from aged 10-70 and all had a great time.

What an amazing experience!!! We learned so much and ate Sicilian Street food. Annalise was a great guide, told us many stories and her love of the city showed in her presentation.

Knowledgeable guide (Anna), passionate about Sicilian culture and food. Of the four stops, only one "spleen sandwich" was truly memorable; the others (arancina, gelato, etc.) were generic. I wished there was a meat and cheese stop to "balance it out". Still, an easy way to sample some Sicilian classics in a vibrant part of the city.

Our guide PJ was warm and friendly, gave us lots of interesting history and facts about Palermo. The food was delicious. The pace of the tour was great! The meeting place is hard to find after dark, not well marked, a bit dark and out of the way. We were worried we were in the wrong place.

We arrived to Palermo by cruise ship. There were six of us. Annalisa gave detailed directions to meet her. We were a bit late, and she was kind to wait. Make sure you have WhatsApp so she can keep in touch. Annalisa’s tour was so much fun, and her knowledge and love for her city was evident. Highly recommend.

There are several very good food tours in Palermo; this one is outstanding! The walking pace is great, the selection of food is truly typical Sicilian, and some provide an opportunity to taste something you might not ordinarily choose on a Sicilian menu. Just wait until you taste the arancina hot and fresh right out of the fryer! And top that off with a pistachio granita! Carlo is an excellent guide; he knows Palermo and he knows food and is passionate about sharing it with visitors.

After researching the tours on offer and reading the reviews, we went through Viator, used before by us. Chiara was polite, knowledgeable and friendly when asked questions. However we felt she could have engaged more with the group as we walked around. It was a rather lifeless affair. Perhaps an off night? Not the fun experience we'd hoped for.

Great tour, super fun and informative. Was worried it might be a lot of walking for my girls aged 10 and 12, but that was not at all an issue. Our guide set a leisurely pace stopping to point out non-food related points of interest which also helped put some time between eating. All of the food stops on the tour were great and I definitely learned a lot. Would recommend taking the tour early in your stay in Palermo if you can as it will give you great insight into what to look for from other quality street food establishments during your stay.
