We had a fantastic time with Giuseppe strolling the streets of Palermo and tasting some delicious morsels of food! We were entertained with the stories and devoured our treats! Upside to a food tour - there are always seats and toilets!

Learned some history of the city and tastes of local foods. Walked to the eateries and placed our orders, it was a Sunday afternoon and had to wait a bit for foods to be ready.

First site ran late with providing food, extra beer given but delay tainted that experience
Other sites were ready when we arrived. Plenty of food offered. Guide gave reasonable amount of info on food and answered questions. Local history info was good. This was my first foodie tour experience, not sure if it is something I will try again.

Carlo was a great guide. He explained the culture, customs and preparation of each food and history of each food shop.

Greatly enjoyed this tour of Palermo and taste of Sicily. Tasty street food - four fried foods, foccacia and either cannoli or gelato at the end. Enjoyed some coke to wash it down. Saw Palermo life and some of the best sights. Easy to get to from cruise pier. Easy, breezy introduction to Palermo culture and common man cuisine. Anna is a fantastic, engaging tour guide.

Very informative, food was great and our guide Chiara was wonderful! She made sure we were all looked after, told us plenty of information and was generally lovely

Great way to learn about Palermo and the local food. The portions and selection were great. It was also nice we had choices vs limited menu.
Highly recommend!

Thank you to Chiara for a lovely day! My husband and I had such a great time trying all of the different foods and strolling the streets of Palermo.

Great tour of the “real” city and food. Loved the true history and stories shared. Tour guide brought the experience to life and it was obvious she loved her city!

Ciara is very knowledgeable about Palermo history and food. She has a great sense of humor and made the evening fun

Don’t eat too much for breakfast as you will eat lots on the tour. You learn a lot about how the food is prepared and the diversity of cultures that have shaped the food culture in Sicily

A full meal with city tour as well!! Fredrico did a great job of explaining the foods AND steering us along the maze of streets, shops and people. Fun and delicious.

We did the tour with Carlo. He is a chill guy, gave some good info but he does not have a strong food background so we did not get detailed explanations about history ingredients or techniques. But if you want a slow amble through town there were 4 food stops all worthwhile except for dessert was generic in a touristy place. Would have been an amazing touch to go into a home and have grandmas cannolis or be invited into a restaurant kitchen — or some interaction with a cook or restauranteur.

Everything was great. Tried all kinds of food all delicious. Got to see some historical places along the way too with and learn about them. We'll worth doing.
Susan_B, Apr 2026
The portions were small and we did not get certain foods on the itinerary. We were supposed to have received panini ca’ meusa and panini with panelle and crocche. Instead we were given an individual crocche and a single small piece of panelle.
Twelve of us had to share 3 beers which was sad compared to food tours we’ve had on the past. Spleen sandwiches were offered but 1/3 of the group would not eat them and had cheese sandwiches instead.
The canoli was great but there was supposed to be a stop after that for granita. We never got that either.
We have never been on a food tour with so little food. We liked our guide and don’t know if she was told to skip items on the itinerary and to provide small portions or if it was her decision. We were still hungry and stopped for some delicious pasta on our way back.
Many of us had already taken sightseeing tours. There should be less time talking about the sights and more time giving us more foods to try such as an issue of a good homemade pasta and something from the sea.
We have been on over 25 food tours and this one provided the smallest portions. We expected better portions since only a limited amount of food is offered.
We signed up because of what was offered and not he side of what little we received.

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area. The food tastings were delicious. I highly recommend this tour

Quality of tour & guide. Great historical eating places tucked away from main tourist drag. Guide Carlo had amazing knowledge not just on the food but also it's place in Sicilian culture
Angie_P, Apr 2026
Annalisa not only took us to some traditional Sicilian food locations but also gave us the backstory on the history of Palermo. She was interesting and we enjoyed the experience from start to finish.
James_C, Apr 2026
The guide was helpful, friendly, and attentive. The 2 of the 4 food spots were a bit unusual, and not in the main areas where you'd normally walk as a tourist.

Dear Client,
We proud ourselves of going to non-touristic and undiscovered gems. Sometimes, going to smaller streets is exactly what needs to be done to relish on proper Palermitan food! We thank you nonetheless for you feedback. Sorry that you didn't enjoy fully our tour!

What an amazing experience!!! We learned so much and ate Sicilian Street food. Annalise was a great guide, told us many stories and her love of the city showed in her presentation.
Terence_T, Mar 2026
Knowledgeable guide (Anna), passionate about Sicilian culture and food. Of the four stops, only one "spleen sandwich" was truly memorable; the others (arancina, gelato, etc.) were generic. I wished there was a meat and cheese stop to "balance it out". Still, an easy way to sample some Sicilian classics in a vibrant part of the city.

A fantastic food tour of Palermo, with a chance to taste all the local dishes. Carlo was an excellent and entertaining guide to help familiarise ourselves with the city and where to go. Highly recommended

PJ was a great tour guide and shared the history of Sicily and Palermo while stopping at delicious food stops. We loved the history and the culinary delights!

We had an amazing time on the food tour - Francesco (might have name slightly wrong) was an excellent host. We visited yummy spots and got to try all the street foods we were interested in. Francesco also encorporate interesting stories and historic details as we walked from spot to spot. We went with 5 people ranging from aged 10-70 and all had a great time.
Margaret_U, Nov 2025
Our guide PJ was warm and friendly, gave us lots of interesting history and facts about Palermo. The food was delicious. The pace of the tour was great!
The meeting place is hard to find after dark, not well marked, a bit dark and out of the way. We were worried we were in the wrong place.
Alicia_D, Nov 2025
Nadia was patient and very informative, she let us try very unique foods and places we never would of found on our own
Lori_P, Nov 2025
