Itinerary

This 8-day tour of Sicily starts with pickup from the Catania airport. Your accommodations for seven nights, as well as one dinner and four lunches are taken care of to make your trip as stress-free as possible.

On day one, head to Taormina and eat like a local on a Food & Wine tour, then explore on your own before turning in for the night.

On day two, discover places where the “Godfather” movies were shot, such as the villages of Savoca and Forza D’agrò. After an aperitif in the “Vitelli” bar of Godfather fame, and lunch on a terrace, visit the Greek Theater in Taormina.

Day three takes you to Mount Etna to explore the Silvestri craters and take an optional Jeep ride higher up the mountain. Reward yourself with wine tasting on the slopes of the volcano.

Days four and five take you farther south to see the historic center of Noto, lunch on fish in Marzamemi, and tour Ortigia on foot.

Tour the UNESCO-listed Valley of the Temples in Agrigento on day six. Then, continue to Palermo, where you have the evening free to yourself.

Day seven is for exploring the capital on a walking tour of the Old Town. You’re free to spend your last evening as you wish.

On your eighth and final day, you’re transferred to the airport according to your flight schedule after breakfast.

This was an amazing week in Sicily. The balance of guided elements and our own time was perfect. All the guides were lovely, interesting and shared their great knowledge of the places we visited. The sites we saw and the food & wine experiences were excellent. All the hotels were gorgeous and we were well taken care of the whole time. I consider myself well traveled and I rate this holiday as my best so far! Sicily Activities were available throughout the week for assistance if required. Thanks for a fabulous week in Sicily!
