A wonderful day!

Our rally point was changed and we were never notified. Our tour guide Daniele came picked us at the location Vivator provided. What started off as stressful day became a wonderful experience thanks to Daniele. It’s not only his knowledge of Etna but also his passion for Etna that gave us a perspective that we don’t think anyone else could have given us. His friendliness and charm were admirable. You would definitely not be disappointed having him as your guide. It will a memorable tour because he goes the extra mile. At the end of the tour the only disappointment you will have is that you didn’t have enough time to be with Daniele. When you go for the light lunch they do not allow your tour guide to stay with you. They really should reconsider that because it gives you more time with your guide to discuss what you experienced. Exceptional Tour with Maria!

The tour was perfect! We started with the drive to our first stop, with Maria explaining the area along the way. She and the driver were kind, funny and they genuinely wanted everyone to have a fun time! Next we took a beautiful boat ride, where we entered some caves along the coast, then swam in the Ionian Sea which was breathtaking! We then went to the town Taromia, where we shopped and ate an adorable restaurant. On our way back to the cruise ship, we stopped and had freshly made cannolis (so fresh that she called in our order and they were filled right before we got there)! As we exited the tour van, Maria gave us wash an Italian cookie to bring back. I would give this tour more that 5 stars if possible!

Excellent!!

Fantastic! Chef mimmo and staff were excellent. Fun, helpful and very informative. Not only did we eat great food, we met his Mom. Little mimmo made me feel so special because this was my first time making pasta and had no idea what to do lol We also met very many nice people. Book this experience, you won't regret it!!!!

Great tour!

Great tour! Nancy was great! The drive up to the volcano was nice, we made a few stops for photos, to see a church and to do some wine and honey and olive oil tasting. And then the lunch and wine tasting after the visit was amazing. Definitely a must do!

Fabulous food tour

We had a fabulous couple of hours with our guide Adele. She was very entertaining and knowledgeable about Taormina and Sicily. The food and wine we tried was amazing, so authentic and tasty. It was great to explore the alley ways away from the main street and eat from old family businesses.

Wonderful tour

My partner and I went on this your. He is a Godfather fan but I have never seen any of the films. However, we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Denise was very informative and friendly and a wonderful driver around those sharp narrow bends. There were 6 on the tour and we all got along splendifly, finishing with a delicious meal and good conversation. Would highly recommend

What an amazing tour! Alex our guide couldn’t have been better, his knowledge and enthusiasm about volcanoes is never ending and made the trip unforgettable. Best way to see Etna and learn about its history

Antonio made our day on Etna a truly memorable experience. Yes, it’s important to see the lava flows across the mountain and get a chance to hike through them. But from a granita stop, to a winery visit, to stops along the road to learn the smallest of details, we learned so much throughout the tour. He clearly loves what he does and that makes the best kind of guide. Throughout the tour, he was stopping to take pictures to send to us - plus did a drone shot in one area. Logistics were a breeze too. Despite booking last minute, he made sure we had clear instructions on how to meet our driver (Taormina isn’t conducive to easy navigation) and everything was taken care of each step of the way including protective equipment. I’d recommend this to almost anyone visiting. There were some kids and older travelers. This tour isn’t too grueling, but even if you want to do a hike to the top separately, thus is a good way to learn about the mountain before submitting and take in experiences from that are integral to Etna.

We had a wonderful experience with Alessio. We had a short cruise stop and he made sure we got to see the best of the best. First we went to Taormina and he recommended a few stops with amazing view points. After he took us to Mt Etna and he took us to some main points and we experienced a wonderful tasting at the top. He also made a quick stop in Catania by request to get Cannolis and Granita (Gelato on Brioche Bread). Alessio is very knowledgeable about history, science, nature, and culture and very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Great time!

Had a wonderful time! With the help of Chef, his mamma and trusty sous chefs, we made 2 pasta dishes and 1 amazing fish dish. While pasta dough was rising we were treated to tomatoes and mozzarella. Everyone was able to contribute - crushing tomatoes, picking basil off the stem, sautéing veggies. It was very hot- but thy gave us lots of beverages to cool down. We shared a nice meal outside with our new friends.
