The food was amazing and we were so full after the first stop of three. We had 4 people on our tour, a couple from Florida and us from Australia and we all had a wonderful time over 3 hours - We would highly recommend doing this especially on one of your first nights.

This cooking class was awesome! The whole group got along really well and Massimo made it a great environment! We started with a tour of the market and learned about local produce, fish, and meat before walking to the house. The view from the house was beautiful, so it was a very scenic way to make lunch! The cooking was really fun and the whole group agreed we learned a lot of skills and recipes that we would use again! The food tasted INCREDIBLE! We had plenty of time to eat and drink and hangout. It was just a really amazing time! We loved it! Lastly, there were two people with celiac in the group (gluten free) and we felt very safe and the accommodations were little things that allowed for us to still have all the food (ie no breadcrumbs in the meatballs for the two of us and gluten free pasta in separate water). We would highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a great way to get a lay of the land and eat well, this tour is worth every penny! We had a wonderful time on this street food tour. Our group was 11 folks from all over the world, and the vibes were just fantastic from start to finish. 🌍🤝 Our guide, Alessandro, was the absolute star of the show. He’s basically part tour guide, part stand-up comedian, and part private chef. 🎭👨‍🍳 He informed us right upfront that the menu would be heavy on carbs and fried foods, which was completely fine by me—bring on the comfort food! 🧆🥖 🥖 The Bites Everything was delicious, though I did take a little culinary gamble! I tried the spleen sandwich, which was super adventurous for me. While I’m glad I gave it a shot, I probably wouldn’t order it again... unless maybe they loaded it up with some cheese or hot sauce to make it a bit more bearable! 🌶️🧀 💡 The Verdict Not only was the food great, but it was also such a good way to get our bearings in the city. 🗺️💶 10/10, would definitely do it again! Really enjoyable class I would definitely recommend to anyone, we were picked up in Taormina and taken into Giardini Naxos by transfer. On arrival there was wine and water on the table followed by some bruschetta then it was onto the cannoli and pizza making, my husband managed to mess up his first pizza dough much the the enjoyment of the chefs mum.

Great activity while in Taormina

Had the best time doing this as my first cooking class! It was a smaller group about 7 of us and I loved having the experience in the restaurant among diners. It made it more fun! Pizza and pasta were excellent. Compared to other cooking classes that can be double the price, I thought this was a great value.

We had the mayor of Palermo as our guide. Sorry I mean Barbara. All I can say is wow. Barbara not only knows every vendor and all of the hidden gems of the city but knows the history of the neighborhoods. It wasn’t the boring tour you see other folks on, she makes it fun and you could honestly spend the whole day with her walking around and meeting her friends. If you going to do a tour in Palermo, this is the one.
