WOW - The tour from Alfredo was a local who grew up in Etna and had loads of knowledge about the area and wonderful stories about growing up here. The food was amazing and we were so full after the first stop of three. We had 4 people on our tour, a couple from Florida and us from Australia and we all had a wonderful time over 3 hours - We would highly recommend doing this especially on one of your first nights.

Perfect introduction to cooking Italian food and fun activity in Palermo

This was such a great experience. Our chef/instructor took us through the nearby market, and then we made a few delicious dishes. He was a great leader, and we all had a lot of fun making pasta, arancini and cannoli. Don't expect to prepare everything from scratch--Italian cuisine takes a lot of time to prepare, so we got a head start with many things (e.g. the pasta dough was prepared in advance, as was the ragout for the arancini and the filling for the cannoli), so you're only doing a few steps in the process. That was fine for us, but it was a little different from some of the other cooking classes I've taken in other countries. The facility is air conditioned, which was very appreciated on a hot Sicilian summer day.

Absolutely amazing experience! 🍕🍨 We had the pizza & gelato class today with Federico and Nadia, and it was honestly one of the best experiences we’ve had in Palermo! They were incredible teachers, so knowledgeable, entertaining, friendly, and passionate. They made sure everyone was involved, having fun, and getting the absolute best out of the experience. We learned so much, laughed a lot, enjoyed delicious food, and even made some new friends along the way! ❤️ If you’re looking for something fun, authentic, and memorable to do in Palermo, this is 100% an experience we recommend. A Must Do Family Experience

If you’re looking for a great way to get a lay of the land and eat well, this tour is worth every penny! We had a wonderful time on this street food tour. Our group was 11 folks from all over the world, and the vibes were just fantastic from start to finish. 🌍🤝 Our guide, Alessandro, was the absolute star of the show. He’s basically part tour guide, part stand-up comedian, and part private chef. 🎭👨‍🍳 He informed us right upfront that the menu would be heavy on carbs and fried foods, which was completely fine by me—bring on the comfort food! 🧆🥖 🥖 The Bites Everything was delicious, though I did take a little culinary gamble! I tried the spleen sandwich, which was super adventurous for me. While I’m glad I gave it a shot, I probably wouldn’t order it again... unless maybe they loaded it up with some cheese or hot sauce to make it a bit more bearable! 🌶️🧀 💡 The Verdict Not only was the food great, but it was also such a good way to get our bearings in the city. 🗺️💶 10/10, would definitely do it again! This cooking class was awesome! The whole group got along really well and Massimo made it a great environment! We started with a tour of the market and learned about local produce, fish, and meat before walking to the house. The view from the house was beautiful, so it was a very scenic way to make lunch! The cooking was really fun and the whole group agreed we learned a lot of skills and recipes that we would use again! The food tasted INCREDIBLE! We had plenty of time to eat and drink and hangout. It was just a really amazing time! We loved it! Lastly, there were two people with celiac in the group (gluten free) and we felt very safe and the accommodations were little things that allowed for us to still have all the food (ie no breadcrumbs in the meatballs for the two of us and gluten free pasta in separate water). We would highly recommend!

We had the mayor of Palermo as our guide. Sorry I mean Barbara. All I can say is wow. Barbara not only knows every vendor and all of the hidden gems of the city but knows the history of the neighborhoods. It wasn’t the boring tour you see other folks on, she makes it fun and you could honestly spend the whole day with her walking around and meeting her friends. If you going to do a tour in Palermo, this is the one.
