Great cruise excursion!

Our family had a great time on this group tour to Taormina and Castelmola! We were traveling with our two kids, ages 10 and 13, and everyone really enjoyed the day. Taormina was beautiful, with so many great views, charming streets, shops, and places to explore. We also loved visiting Castelmola. The views from the top were incredible and definitely worth the trip up! The tour gave us a nice amount of time to walk around, take pictures, grab something to eat, and enjoy both towns without feeling too rushed but also not too much time that the kids were bored. It was a fun and easy way to see two beautiful places while visiting Sicily, and we were glad we chose this tour. We would definitely recommend it to other families!

Amazing tour with plenty of time to shop and eat!

Marisa from Booking Sicily Yours was absolutely amazing. The pick up from our cruise ship was seamless. Right there at the end of the pier. Communication was also excellent. We got on a very spacious air conditioned van. Marisa brought us to Castelmola as our first stop with views of the smoking Mountain Etna. So cool. We went to a very “unique” bar where we tasted cannolis and “shots.” The views were amazing but be prepared to walk up hills and steps to get there. We then headed to Taormina which had amazing shopping and even better restaurants. We had plenty of time there. Marisa gave us a lot of information, made sure we were all comfortable, always made sure she did what the group wanted and even gave us a little keepsake at the end of the trip. We were back to the ship in plenty of time. What a great day in Sicily. We would recommend this trip to anyone (as long as you are good with a lot of walking).

This is a great way to immerse yourself in Italian culture. Stephani taught me how to make Tiramisu and pasta from scratch and the family participated. The daughter was the interpreter. We loved this day outing! Our guide Mariarita was exceptional and shared information and made recommendations as we drove for various places to check out in the area. This tour was a great find in Messina and the surrounding areas! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience with Michael! He was a super safe driver and very knowledgeable and informative. His English was excellent. We did not feel rushed during any part of the tour and got to buy some wine, honey, pesto and olive oil. He recommended us to try Arancini and focaccia which was very delicious. We would highly recommend taking this tour with him.

Private Messina tour from cruise port

This tour was professionally handled in a great manner. From pre trip communication to meeting at the port to the tour and drop off back at port, this was a great experience. Lilllo was early to pick us up ( we were early too as the pick up was right as we disembarked!). He shared historical, cultural and fun information as we went along the tour. Due to weather, the itinerary was adjusted and we visited unexpected places for a fun treat. He gave us choices and ample time to explore Taormina and Castlemola with a view of Isola Bella. He pointed out fun facts and locations about White Lotus and The Godfather. We chose not to go to the beach because of rain. Transportation was totally comfortable and, on the return to Messina, we were treated with REAL gelato and cannoli’s. The church there was spectacular inside. Our group of 7 had a great experience and much thanks to Lillo for taking us around and teaching us about this lovely place.
