This tour is so worth it!

We had the best time doing this tour of mt etna! I went back and forth on if I should cancel it because we have 4 kids 8 and under and I am so glad I didn’t cancel!! We HAD the BEST time and our tour guide (Daniello). He could not have been more knowledgeable, caring and kind. He went above and beyond and it truly made our experience what it was. Roberto was a fantastic...

Roberto was a fantastic guide - very knowledgeable, very good English and very good sense of humour!! He really helped make to most of what was a very wet and murky day. Learned a lot about the volcano which the Sicilians clearly love - all very excited as it had just become quite active. Great wine with lunch. The gorge was a bit of an anti-climax. Not really worth the effort. Great day out despite the weather

The tour guide was great—friendly and helpful. The hike on Mount Etna was very interesting and offered us some beautiful views. The tasting was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. We skipped the cave tour so we could spend more time in Taormina. Taormina is beautiful but very touristy. The sights are still worth seeing, and there are plenty of places to eat. We recommend restaurants outside of the main street.

Fascinating view of Mt Etna! Massimo did a great job personalizing our trip since my group wanted a shorter hike. Our favorite part was the the Alacantara Gorge. Recommend wearing. Bathing suit under your clothes and good walking shoes and bring water shoes.

We loved this day outing! Our guide Mariarita was exceptional and shared information and made recommendations as we drove for various places to check out in the area. Gorgeous views of Mt Etna in Castelmola! Her guided walking tour in Taormina and at the theater was also enjoyable and engaging. She clearly likes what she does! Our driver, Lorenzo, navigated the crazy roads with ease. Heartily recommend this tour and Mariarita in particular.

Book This trip !!! It was amazing. We had the best time. It was absolutely fantastic. Mike was a great captain. We met new friends we had the best time. The stops for swimming were beautiful. The stop in Favignana for lunch was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend you book this. It was absolutely the best value for the money. They served fresh fruit that was delicious we had beer water and prosecco. My only regret was that we had so much fun and so busy chatting with new friends we forgot to tip Mike which makes me feel terrible. Do yourself a favor and book immediately. 🙌🏻😎❤️💯🥂

Our private tour to Mt Etna and the winery with Giuliano was fantastic! He is so knowledgeable about the region and has a true passion and respect for Mt Etna. We learned more then we ever expected. He was extremely helpful navigating the pathway to the crater and had hiking boots on hand as well as walking sticks (at no additional charge) for those of us that needed them. The winery we went to after our hike was really great with a beautiful view and delicious food and wine. A smaller vineyard with much charm. It was a truly enjoyable day!!

Say hello to a great experience

What a great tour. So convenient as you are picked up and dropped off at your hotel. The van is roomy and air conditioned. Marcello is an amazing guide. He gives you an insight into the Godfather movie better than anyone can. The tour walks you through various scenes from the movie as you walk the same steps as they did. Such a cool experience. Marcello provides both perspectives, the director and the perspective of the Italians and their traditions. You learn about the region as well as the two villages you visit. I loved these small hilltop villages as it shines the beauty of Italy. It was a nice break away from all the hustle and bustle of Taormina. There are plenty of spots for beautiful pictures. The views are breathtaking. There is no lunch, but at the second village you can buy small bites. We bought some freshly baked bread with olives in it, so delicious. We also bought cookies that were freshly baked and olive oil. The prices were all reasonable. Marcello is Italian and can be hard to understand his English sometimes, but that’s what I loved. The true Italian experience. My only suggestion is if you haven’t watched the movie or it’s been a while since you last watched it, try to watch the movies (there are 3) before the tour. The tour and information will be more meaningful. If not, you’ll still enjoy it. The amount of time is perfect. After the tour you still have you’re whole day ahead of you. Thank you Marcello for your passion for the movie and it’s history, your sense of humor, and your amazing driving skills.

Great Mt Etna tour

Lorenzo (our guide) was excellent. A safe driver and super knowledgeable about volcanos (not just Mt Etna). The tour experience on Mt Etna resulted in some rain, but no big deal. We had a great trip seeing Mt Etna up close. Lorenzo made the trip extra memorable. Thank you for a great experiance.

Lorenzo was absolutely fantastic and this tour was one of our favorite tours! Our experience going into the caves, stopping at local shops for tastings and the hike of Mount Etna were magical and unforgettable! As a family of 5 with 3 adult children, we all enjoyed this so so much! Highly recommend the tour and especially with Lorenzo.

Magnificent

The absolute best way to experience this stunning landscape is from the water. A pleasant cruise, a bit of prosecco and topped off with a refreshing dip in the clear water. Our guides could not have been better. Friendly and very knowledgeable. We were in good hands both on the boat and in the charming town of Taormina. Claudia, Peppe and Vincenzo made us feel like family. Highly recommend this tour.
