Excellent tour. It is 3 hours so prepare appropriately. Good sights, tips for visiting places and non-pushy food recommendations. Extremely knowledgeable tour guide (Liv), friendly, welcoming and clear. It felt like a tour by someone who knows Palermo inside out

A fantastic tour thanks to an incredibly knowledgeable guide. She made thousands of years of history relevant and entertaining. I was concerned it might be a little dull but it was anything but that. I recommend this tour to anyone who’d like an easy to digest overview of this wonderful city.

The tour guide was very informative, and because it was so hot on the tour she was cognizant of the need to stay in the shade as much as possible. We learned a lot about the history of Palermo and I would recommend it for anyone who wants to learn more about the history of Palermo.

Renata was very knowledgeable & explained things well taking us to the main sites. One thing that would have made it better would have been to add a few stories to make it less dry

Excellent

Heather_M, Jun 2026
We had a very enjoyable morning tour with Laura. Great introduction to the city for us as first time visitors. She brought to life ancient to modern history. We also had a small extra item where teenagers with their teachers shared restoration of a historic religious building. She was so encouraging of the young folk. Lovely to see in a community. Highly recommended this tour.

Wonderful intro to Palermo!

Ellen_P, May 2026
Diana was fantastic! Totally charming, warm, and knowledgeable. She gave a local life perspective and was generous and entertaining, in the best way. Bravo!

General not detailed

Janet_C, May 2026
Good to have an indoor meeting point with seats and a loo. This tour isn’t a detailed historical tour - just short descriptions of the key sites. It’s more of a gentle introduction to Sicily in general including restaurant/food advice and 20 minutes or so of walking through the market. We finished early so I paid for ticket at the masssimo theatre a couple of minutes away (40 minute tour every 10 minutes) - a recommended finale.
