We saved the best for last

We joked that we were saving the best excursion for last, and it turned out to be absolutely true. After spending 14 days in Italy and enjoying many incredible tours and experiences, this was by far our favorite. It exceeded our expectations in every way. Capitano Sergio was a wonderful host—warm, gracious, and knowledgeable. He took us to breathtaking spots where we could swim, float in the crystal-clear water, and relax in the sun. The boat was impeccably clean, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. Zazza made sure everything ran seamlessly and that we had everything we needed throughout the trip. The authentic local food served on board was delicious and added another special touch to an already unforgettable experience. This was a historical tour combined with present day information. Our young guide, Guiseppe, was well-spoken, prepared, and sincere. The content could have taken a political tone, but Guiseppe provided balanced facts and let us come to our own conclusions. His love and appreciation for Palermo was evident and heartwarming.

The Best Way to Explore Palermo

My family of 9 members had two Cruise Cars take us around Palermo and Monreale! The Cruise Cars picked us up at our hotel. Each car had a driver, a guide and a cooler filled with ice cold drinks and snacks! The cars were also equipped with a speaker so we had our own music connected by blue tooth. The cars were new and spotless! It was the beginning of the hot summer days so we enjoyed the cool breeze as we drove around Palermo. We visited the Capuchin Catacombs then drove to Monreale to visit the most stunning Cathedral. The sun was directly above us so our guide pulled the cover of the cruise cars to make our drive back to Palermo a comfortable one. All in all, this experience made our first day in Palermo an unforgettable experience! My family is grateful to our wonderful drivers who drove us safely and comfortably and to our guides who welcomed us warmly and gave us so much needed information about Palermo! We felt their pride and love for Palermo! Highly recommended for family, friends, couples even solo travelers!

Great tour of popular Sicilian foods

This tour is an absolute must-do when you’re in Sicily! Our tour guide, Emma, did a fantastic job taking us to try popular local foods. She even had skip-the-line tickets for the bakery at the Monastery of Santa Caterina, so we avoided the long wait, and those cannoli were delicious. Emma was also incredibly knowledgeable about the highlights of Sicily along our walk. I highly recommend this tour!

Lovely day trip with gorgeous views, medieval architecture, salt and wines

We had a lovely day with Renato and our fellow tour companions. The drive out toward Erice offered amazing views and gave contrast against the busy Palermo scene. The town of Erice was amazingly preserved and I really enjoyed the way our guide shared about the history without going into too much detail. The tour was expansive but not rushed. We loved seeing the salt flats on our way to the winery, where we got to experience a beautiful vineyard and winery and amazing food and wines. Renato was very accommodating and helpful since my aunt had to bring her “roller” for back support. She had to sit out som of the more hilly and cobblestone clad parts but we really appreciate that we got to go on this tour.

Excellent Adventure

The operators of this tour were extremely friendly, and were more than willing to accommodate any needs you may have. Furthermore, the food provided was excellent, much better than we were expecting. The places that we stopped to swim were also very cool, the water was so clear and beautiful. Definitely book this if you are considering it.

Pietro and Antonio were awesome. They picked us up from the hotel with a warm welcome Antonio was our driver and an excellent one at that. Pietro was so knowledgeable about Italy, the history, the attractions etc. he was also so passionate about it We especially loved the Cathedral of Monreale. Pietro walked us through the history, how to walk though it and shared a book with how it was built and organized It was the most magnificent cathedral we have ever been to. It had the story of the Bible from one end to the other We thoroughly enjoyed the trip sitting in the heck of the cruiser car with beautiful views, snacks and prosecco We would highly recommend this experience

Marcello was absolutely amazing!! He was so informative on how to cook everything and showed us techniques we can use at home. We made wonderful Sicilian dishes and also got a tour of the market in the area which was so much fun and it showed us a lot of the culture here in Palermo. I highly recommend!!

Do not hesitate, so worth it!

This was by far a highlight of my Mediterranean vacation. Giovanni and his wife were so welcoming and shared lovely memories, recipes, food and wine. I truly felt welcomed and I cherish the memories I created with them! The food was incredible! I have had many tours cancel on me as a solo traveler, but they did not. It was a beautiful way to gain insight into Palermo.
