What a fun start to our day in Palermo! We learned a lot and had a great time. Marcello was a great teacher and kept us entertained and engaged. He also led us through the Capo market. The food at the end of the class turned out so great, we were all extremely full and satisfied! Would highly recommend this class.

The perfect activity in Palermo! Mario was amazing, he taught us everything in good detail and gave us great tips. The market tour was fantastic too, so many good options to return for. Highly recommend!
Professionally organized, educational, and highly entertaining - and the food was absolutely delicious. The guided walk through the market put this activity over the top. Bravo, Salvatore and the staff at the cooking school.
Marcello was engaging and made the experience fun while learning some fabulous Italian dishes. He made everyone feel comfortable and welcome. His teaching skills are excellent.
This was such a great experience. Our chef/instructor took us through the nearby market, and then we made a few delicious dishes. He was a great leader, and we all had a lot of fun making pasta, arancini and cannoli. Don't expect to prepare everything from scratch--Italian cuisine takes a lot of time to prepare, so we got a head start with many things (e.g. the pasta dough was prepared in advance, as was the ragout for the arancini and the filling for the cannoli), so you're only doing a few steps in the process. That was fine for us, but it was a little different from some of the other cooking classes I've taken in other countries. The facility is air conditioned, which was very appreciated on a hot Sicilian summer day.
Great instruction on how to make pasta, sauce, pesto, and gelato. Three hours flew by. Great activity for a family.
Salvi our cook was so much fun. He explained every in detail. The market trip was a blast. The food we cooked was delicious. I recommend.
Loved this experience! I previously did a class with Towns of Italy in Florence on a different vacation which lead me to booking this class in Palermo. It’s a bright, clean kitchen with others. Yet you still feel the private experience sitting with your group, cooking together, enjoying the food and drinking wine. Highly recommend! Will continue booking with them in other cities :)
What a great time it was to go to market and taste test different foods that you might not have tried. Making pasta was so much fun and learning different techniques and learning about different types of ingredients. Thank you Salvo.
We had a phenomenal experience with Salvo! We were fortunate to have him all to ourselves for our market tour and class. The market was opening a little late due to the august summer “vacations” so we started the morning with prep. About 2 hours in we got to tour the market. Salvo knew many people at the market and explained all of the various ingredients local to Sicily and what’s in season. We even got a few samples from the local vendors to try some staple dishes. After the market we returned to finish up our dishes. Salvo is extremely knowledgeable and talented! We had great conversation all day about Sicily, food, his experience working in various kitchens and his family. The food turned out amazing and we are so happy we got a digital book with the steps and ingredients needed to replicate at home. This was a highlight of our trip. Thank you salvo!
This was an amazing cooking class!! The chefs were so helpful and attentive and really got everyone involved in the cooking. The check-in and kitchen area was so nice and clean and the food was tasty! The gelato was unreal. I totally reccomend taking this class if you’re visiting Palermo😊

This Sicilian cooking class with Chef Marcello was fantastic! We made arancini, pasta al a Norma with fresh made pasta and cannoli and enjoyed it with a glass or two of wine for lunch. I learnt some new techniques and do’s and dont’s with Sicilian cooking. I definitely recommend this class.

Our Chef's name was Salvo. He was great. Very friendly and flexible. We learned a lot during the cooking class and market tour. Even given the recipes at the end of class. Loved the professional kitchen we worked in. Would highly recommend this tour.

Marcello was absolutely amazing!! He was so informative on how to cook everything and showed us techniques we can use at home. We made wonderful Sicilian dishes and also got a tour of the market in the area which was so much fun and it showed us a lot of the culture here in Palermo. I highly recommend!!
Our chef Marcello was AMAZING. Not only was he a great chef he was informative, funny and very personable. Our trip to Capo market was equally outstanding . Marcello gave us unlimited inside information on products, places to eat, shop and explore. The cooking class and market tour were the highlight of our trip. This was a fun and engaging cooking class! Salvo, our chef instructor, led us in preparing connolo, fresh tomato sauce, ragu, arancini, and fresh pasta. He guided us through a local food market and we tasted a few local treats. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend it and Salvo!
This class was fun and the food delicious.
A lot of the prep work was done in advance of the class. We would have enjoyed additional tasks such as chopping the vegetables and making the cannoli filing.
The trip to the market is just a walk through. It's impressive to see, but no items were purchased to be used in the meal being made.
This cooking class is an absolute MUST on your trip to Sicily! The food was incredible and being a part of the process to learn how to cook with family was priceless. Salvatore and Giovanna were so wonderful. Highly recommend this experience!

Had a great time! Salvo, our instructor was great. Very knowledgeable about the food we were making being from Palermo himself with do's and don'ts for the Capo market. He shared a lot about the history of the food was all and, most importantly, the final result was delicious. Can't wait to bring the recipes home!
