⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you want a tour of Salem that’s not-so-brief, brutally honest, and wildly entertaining, this is the one. Thomas and his snack-driven sidekick Satan deliver a mix of history, humor, and unspoken truths that you won’t hear anywhere else. From the very beginning, Thomas had us laughing nonstop while still learning so much. What sets him apart is his professionalism and genuine care—he’s one of the only guides I’ve seen who will actually pick up the phone, call, and wait for guests. Almost 10-15 mins late but he cared enough to call 3 times! He’s observant, keeps safety in mind, and makes sure everyone stays engaged. Even the little details—like reminding us to walk together “like the wildebeest that killed Simba’s dad,” or not staring at lights at night—show how much thought he puts into the experience. It was a chilly night but our tour guide lit the night on fire with his fun facts and weirdness. This off-the-wall tour had us piecing together forgotten tales, like the story of the water wall that once held Salem’s richest port together. It’s quirky, it’s bold, and it’s unforgettable. We are definitely coming back (with snacks for Satan as well) 💀 Tip him, please. He’s worth every dollar. Honestly, I wish I could give this tour 10 pentagrams instead of 5 stars. We had an absolute blast and walked away with both laughs and knowledge. Highly recommended.

Sarah was an amazing tour guide. Two hours sounds like a lot, but the time flies by fast and there’s so much to learn we could have gone longer. We learned all about the witch trials and how Salem became a Halloween destination. Can’t recommend it enough.

What a fun tour!!!!! Our tour guide Hilary really made it the best experience!!!! We had her as our tour guide the day before with the history tour and was thrilled even more when we found out we would have her for the Hocus Pocus tour. If you are a fan of the movie this is a must! You will do a lot of walking! Be prepared, but it’s worth it for sure! Hilary had so much knowledge to share about the film. What’s great is that you can feel the love she had for this movie and that made you appreciate it so much more. Hilary also made sure you got enough photos from each location! I myself will look at the movie so differently going forward! If you are a Hocus Pocus fan…… don’t miss this one!!

Dr. Vitka knew his history, gave us personal experience stories, and showed true class when drunken bystanders tried to ruin our tour. We had 2 other tour guides, and 2 locals walk by and rant about how we have THE BEST tour guide in town. He seems to have a great reputation with the locals and they showed much respect for him!

Excellent tour. We learned a lot about Salem’s history. But I will say the guy at the desk was a bit grumpy when we checked in. Yelling out I don’t care if you bought your tickets online, don’t put your phone in my face. How about letting people know nicely that all you need for check in is your name? Very rough way to handle the check in process.

Great tour and exactly as advertised. Had a large and fun group with a few folks already tipsy coming to the start, and even though I was there by myself it was easy to make some friends and have a very enjoyable time. Stopped at 3 bars with roughly 30 minutes at each (final stop is a bar to end the night), with about 4 other stops to learn of Salem haunts along the way. Bella was a great guide and story teller and somehow managed to wrangle us together prior to leaving each bar. She gave clear timing instructions of when we would leave each bar and gave us 5 minute warnings, so appreciate not being concerned with knowing when to be ready to leave each location. Overall it's a very fun and enjoyable experience if you like just a bit of ghost stories, getting to know new people, and have a few libations in a 2 hour period.

We loved this walking tour with Allie. We wanted the actual history of the witch trials and she fulfilled our need. Be aware, the historic city of the witch trials all but burned down and there are no buildings or outdoor artifacts left from that era. She took us to the physical locations but your imagination was needed to visualize what was going on. Thankfully Ali is a wonderful narrator and makes that era come to life!

Some of the building colors are different as owners changed perhaps , but new paint is not always the color noted. Also if doing with a partner, using the same account and sharing earbuds might eliminate variables heard by each individual, hubby would pause his whole walking and I kept mine going so we would have to wait up or catch up at some locations. My suggestion is if using two accounts, decide in advance to walk while it plays the whole time.
