Professional, entertaining and informative. Our tour guide, Vin, gave in depth interesting stories keeping us engaged the whole time.
Vin was GREAT! Enthusiastic and you could genuinly tell he enjoyed his job. We had a perfect size group and he made sure we all heard him and had all of our wuestions answered. We learned so much information! Great tour!
Black cat tours is amazing!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable & funny! He was engaging explaining the history of Salem and personal experiences he has had as paranormal investigator! I would recommend black cat tours! It’s easy to find, right inside the black cat curiously shop.
Vin our tour guide was a great story teller. Every moment was filled with interesting history, ghostly tales and urban legends. I would highly recommend this tour.
Jack was very funny! Enjoyed the stories and them being told in the dark was added to the atmosphere.
Our guide Vin was fantastic! We participated in the 8pm tour and it did not disappoint. Great stories, good pace, and the best part was our 12 year old son throughly enjoying the tour! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a tour while in Salem!!
Excellent tour. It is operated out of Black Cat Curiosity Shoppe (which is the most authentic Salem shop in my opinion - not a tourist trap). The owners take great care and take history seriously. You won’t get gimmicks or over-exaggerated nonsense. The history is rich enough, and spooky/gory/tragic enough to stand on its own. Daniel is a wealth of knowledge about Salem and history in general. I took both their 8:00 tour and the 10:00 “adults only” and I got different stops and stories respectively. If you’re on the fenced, let this be your sign to book!! It’s clear this is their passion.
This ghost tour was fun and family friendly. Entertaining, interesting, and a little scary. It was a good mix of history and ghost stories, just the right length. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging.
The Blackcat tour was awesome. It was very informative, and our tour guide Vincent was absolutely the best. He was funny, captivating, and thorough. His story-telling and delivery of information was a huge standout, we had a great time learning about the history and ghost stories that were told in the tour.
It was October in Salem. Too many people in our group. Couldn't hear guide. Boring. We left halfway through.
Our tour guide was phenomenal!! I’m horrible with names so I apologize in advance but it was Vinny or Vic, definitely started with a V. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered questions, and even confirmed the ghosts I captured in my pics. Definitely recom

The tour was amazing! Shout out to David for the fantastic experience. The tour was over 1.5 hours and covered many parts of Salem.
The tour guide was extremely informative and enthusiastic. A little hard to navigate through Salem at night while on a tour, but to be expected with so many people in Salem in October.

Vin was very knowledgeable about Salem facts and the surrounding area. He was loud enough for all to hear, and was very easy to understand with good diction. Finally, he was entertaining and kept the crowd engaged for the entire duration of the tour. He is highly recommended.
The last one of the night did not finish when and where we were told. This causes us to have to rush to meet our Uber and in the process of rushing fell on the brick sidewalk caused massive bruises and swelling. Also caused us to have to cancel the next days events. The stories were good but sometimes it is really needs to follow what you tell your customers.
Vin was a very fun and theatrical tour guide. When I started telling him about our own ghosts he became very animated and wanted to know more. We also think my wife captured the smiling man on camera!!
Vin was awesome! So knowledgeable, animated, and fun to listen to. He was great about answering questions and providing local legends and lore while also giving us time to take pictures.

This was my second time booking with Black Cat, and it was just as good as the first! We had the same tour guide Vin - fyi I was really hoping he would be our guide this time around!
His knowledge of Salem blending fact with legend, sprinkled with his own personal experiences is seamless. He’s a top notch showmen, witty, and fun! Incredibly family friendly, our first tour a year ago we had several families with young children and he did great to include them in on the tour. This tour we had a mix of teens, young adults and the young at heart.
Lots of ground is covered, and many historical locations throughout the town. This tour is a MUST!
