Our Salem tour was "Satanic Salem" led by a minister of the Satanic Temple. It was an interesting event (only 4 participants).

This was, by far, our favorite thing we did on our weekend trip! He gave us actual history while making us laugh. It was entertaining from start to finish. And we got cute puppy pets!

If you want a tour of Salem that’s not-so-brief, brutally honest, and wildly entertaining, this is the one. Thomas and his snack-driven sidekick Satan deliver a mix of history, humor, and unspoken truths that you won’t hear anywhere else. From the very beginning, Thomas had us laughing nonstop while still learning so much.
What sets him apart is his professionalism and genuine care—he’s one of the only guides I’ve seen who will actually pick up the phone, call, and wait for guests. Almost 10-15 mins late but he cared enough to call 3 times! He’s observant, keeps safety in mind, and makes sure everyone stays engaged. Even the little details—like reminding us to walk together “like the wildebeest that killed Simba’s dad,” or not staring at lights at night—show how much thought he puts into the experience. It was a chilly night but our tour guide lit the night on fire with his fun facts and weirdness.
This off-the-wall tour had us piecing together forgotten tales, like the story of the water wall that once held Salem’s richest port together. It’s quirky, it’s bold, and it’s unforgettable. We are definitely coming back (with snacks for Satan as well)
💀 Tip him, please. He’s worth every dollar. Honestly, I wish I could give this tour 10 pentagrams instead of 5 stars. We had an absolute blast and walked away with both laughs and knowledge. Highly recommended.

This tour was FANTASTIC! I cannot recommend this tour enough. Tom was wonderful — clearly so knowledgeable, passionate about the subject matter, and provided a very different tour and overall experience, compared to others in Salem. You may even get a surprise visit from Satan. In taking this tour, you can also visit the Satanic Art Gallery at a discounted rate — which I would recommend this as well.

Loved the whole experience! Guide was an amazing mix of comedian and historian. He talked about the witch trials, tv and movies, current culture of inclusiveness, tourism. It was never boring and he had us laughing. My daughter and I both highly recommend- favorite part of our time in Salem.

I highly recommend taking this tour. While out and about, we would pass other tour groups, and I was justified in my choice to go with TST’s tour. Thomas was super conversational, laid back, not your typical tour guide, which we loved. It was informative and fun, and we felt like we got some real history, and honestly, a bit of an education in a really fun way. The best part was that we had Salem’s mayor, Satan along for the walk! Hail Satan!

Thomas’ tour is phenomenal!!! His historical knowledge, quips and viewpoints about Salem, the Witch Trials and how faith-based groups have contributed to forming the Salem community (past and present) are incredible! Awesome tour for those that find religion, witchcraft, and the occult interesting and not offensive. This isn’t a great tour for young children, but great for everyone else. Very informative without the grift of the supernatural.
