Karen_S, Aug 2026
The tour was very interesting and well done. April was a very engaging and knowledgeable host, who is a local person with a long family history in the area. She took us to many sites and gave us a fuller picture of Salem’s amazing history. She answered all of our questions and made it fun. I went with my ten year old grandchild who really enjoyed all of the stories the way April told them.
Response from Host, Aug 2026
Thank you Karen! We take pride in the fact that we are founded and run by life long locals of the old Salem historic region, many of whom are descended from Puritans. Our guides love answering questions and showing people the real Salem, which is a much richer story than many realize. Our walking tour is very family friendly, we're so glad your 10 year old grandchild loved it! We appreciate you choosing our walking tour and your recommendation here.

Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you so Jenna! We're glad your group not only had a good time, but left with a real understanding of Salem's history and the witch trials. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you in Salem again sometime!
Great tour guide.
George_S, Jul 2026
Interesting history but most of the witch trials sites were torn down long ago, good stories though. The guide was local and knew the history vey well, she made up for the missing buildings.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you George! You're right that many of the original Salem witch trials buildings are long gone due to the shame and stigma the trials left us with — that's one of the reasons we bring you to the only witch trial site left standing in Salem, The Witch House. We do lean heavily on storytelling, real history, and bringing you to other surprising places some tours miss. We're glad our guide could still bring it all to life and offset Salem's limited physical witch trial remains. We appreciate your 5 star review, and hope to see you in Salem again sometime!
Awesome experience

Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you Angelica! We love layering in those small, lesser-known details alongside the bigger Salem history most people already expect. Really appreciate you recommending us to future visitors, and thanks for taking our Salem walking tour!

Book for April!
EMILY_S, Jul 2026
Our tour guide, April, did an amazing job! She was very knowledgeable about the town and pointed out little things most people would miss. My friend and I ended up being the only ones on the tour due to others last minute cancellation. She still took the time to explain everything in detail. Very happy to have booked this experience!
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you so much for this Emily — it genuinely made our day! Salem has so many overlooked details tucked into its streets, and it's always a joy sharing them with people who are actually curious. Slowing down and going deeper into all of Salem's history is what we try to do. Hope to welcome you back to Salem again sometime — thank you for choosing us for your walking tour!

CAMERON_W, Jul 2026
It was very informative and interesting. My 10 year old who didn't want to do a tour said it was a lot a fun.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Cameron, thank you for this! Many 10 year olds visiting Salem become very interested when they realize the witch trials were triggered by kids their own age! It's very rewarding to hear he enjoyed learning our history, we love giving family tours.. Thank you for exploring Salem with us, hope to see you back again some time!
Salem history treasure
Erin_T, Jul 2026
This tour was a wonderful walking tour diving into the history of Salem, witch trials and way beyond. April was very knowledgeable and the history most don’t know is very interesting. Highly recommend.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Hi Erin! We thank you so much! We love sharing the parts of Salem's history that go beyond the witch trials — there's so much overlooked history woven through this town, and it's always a joy when guests leave more curious than when they started. Really appreciate you taking the time to write this. Thanks for choosing our Salem walking tour, and we hope to see you back in Salem again sometime!
The Tour for Salem Witch trials!!!
Jose_C, Jul 2026
Our guide April was amazing, had a mountain of knowledge and was kind and accommodating . We learned a lot about Salem witch trials and the area, we highly recommend this tour to anybody who wants to learn and experience a good tour.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you so much, Jose! This really means a lot! With roots that go back generations, April loves sharing the 1692 witch trials - but also the layers of history throughout Salem that most visitors never hear about. So glad you left feeling like you truly learned something rather than just heard a script. Thank you for helping other travelers discover an authentic Salem walking tour.

Sarah_H, Jul 2026
We loved our tour with April and would highly recommend! It was a great way to learn more about the history of Salem
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you, Sarah! So glad the tour gave you a real feel for Salem's history beyond the usual surface-level version most visitors get. As someone who's studied the original 1692 court records directly, sharing that depth with curious travelers is what April loves most about guiding here. Hope to welcome you back to Witch City again soon.
Be " Bewitched" by enjoying the Salem Witch Trials, Ghosts, and History Tour!
Linda_P, Jul 2026
Tour guide April gave a most interesting and educational tour of Salem's witch trials, ghosts, and history! She is very friendly and quite knowledgeable. I especially liked visiting the "Bewitched" statue. I sure am glad that I did not live live during the Puritan and witch trials period. But I sure am glad that I learned about this history by taking April's fascinating tour!
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you, Linda. We're so glad the Bewitched statue was a highlight! Having grown up in the shadow of Salem's history, April loves bringing the real Puritan and witch trials period to life for guests, since the true story is honestly stranger than fiction. So glad it left you both educated and grateful you got to learn it rather than live it! There's always more of Salem's history to uncover, come find us again!

Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you so much, Lexie. This is exactly the experience we hope for! April loves weaving the legal and historical record into Salem's witch trials story, not just the folklore version. So glad the arc from start to the Witch Trials Memorial felt like it all tied together. Thank you for helping other travelers discover an authentic Salem walking tour.

April was very knowledgeable and brought a ton of local history to the experience. Great pace, lots of interesting stops, you should take this tour!
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you, Justin! April works hard to make sure the tour's pace works well and packs as much history as possible while delivering a big variety of stops. Having grown up in the shadow of Salem's history, she loves weaving in the local details most guides skip. Hope to see you back again soon!
