This was a fun tour with a few gruesome parts (which we wanted)! Tour guide did an excellent job with the story telling. He was respectful and provided some interesting nuggets of information along the way! We signed up for what looked like a 45 minute tour that turned out to be 90+ minutes. It was ok, but much longer than we thought.

We had such a fantastic experience on the Salem tour! Our guide, Jobian, was an incredibly engaging storyteller with a remarkable depth of historical knowledge. He wove together the city’s rich history, the culture of the region, and the legacy of the Witch Trials in a way that was both captivating and easy to follow. What stood out most was his genuine empathy for the people who were so deeply and negatively affected by the Witch Trials. He spoke about their experiences with respect and sensitivity, reminding us that behind the history were real individuals and families whose lives were forever changed. I loved that the tour didn’t just focus on the well-known stories, but also offered deeper context that made the events and people of that time feel real and human. The pacing was perfect, the information was engaging, and I walked away with a much richer understanding of Salem’s past—far beyond the usual spooky folklore. Whether you’re a history buff or just curious about the area, I highly recommend this tour. It was informative, empathetic, and a truly memorable way to explore such a fascinating city.

Hands down, the best walking tour we’ve ever been on. Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable and engaging. She provided the challenging details but created moments of levity for the group. She is an absolute pro and rockstar. Her tour was the highlight of our trip!
