We stopped at four locations and I thought at the beginning I was gonna need to get dinner after. Boy was I wrong. And the free flowing wine is an understatement. Organic wines though. No headache despite most of us getting tipsy. I traveled solo. That didn’t matter. We all got to chatting. 8 of us. And we had a wonderful time. Our guide was great, too!! Knowledgeable, funny and tried to keep pouring the wine!! I’d suggest this tour to anyone who would like to get a true sense of various types of Italian food. Street eats, pasta, truffles. Included it all and ended with gelato!

The tour was packed with information and very interesting. The underground areas of the Colosseum have a ton of history and artifacts that are worth seeing. Our guide was an archaeologist, who was extremely knowledgeable, and he provided insight to how many elements of the colosseum came to be discovered and how activities at the colosseum were run. Our guided tour was for the underground and the arena. After the guided portion of the tour; we were welcomed to explore the higher floors of the colosseum on our own. We chose not to do so because of the heatwave ongoing during our time in Rome. After the tour, our tickets also provided self visits of the forum and palestine hill across the street. Can’t imagine funniest activity in Rome than driving classic Cinquecento in the neighbourhoods. We’ve had the pleasure of having Francesco as a tour guide. Friendly, no nonsense guy for whom nothing is too much trouble. It felt like having a friend showing you around the less travelled but nonetheless interesting places in Rome. I originally booked a Fiat 500 hire for a day through different company which cancelled on us. I’m glad they did. Communication and organisation was 100% as agreed. Her: We had a fabulous time this evening! Catia was so friendly and knowledgeable, and helped us with our Italian pronunciation, lol. The food and wine choices were very good, but save room for the gelato because it’s with it! Him: Catia made the whole experience so much fun and entertaining. Her knowledge about the history of the area and Italy as a whole kept both of us involved and she was able to answer any questions we threw her way. The food and wine we had on this tour was also very good but we don’t usually eat a lot so much of it went uneaten because we got full. But, we really enjoyed all of it. To top off the night we were taken to a Gelato place which everyone who takes this tour will thoroughly enjoy. A great end to the evening. All in all we would both highly recommend this tour….especially with Catia as your tour guide.

Michelle is amazing and this was such a fun experience!

Incredible experience. I did this solo on a Sunday night and had a blast- one of the highlights of my Europe trip! Our guide Michelle was hilarious and made it super easy for the group to connect. The bars were all super cool and you get to try lots of drinks (note it is different types of alcohol so pace/plan accordingly.. I learned this the hard way lol).
