Our guide, Patricia, was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable with great descriptions of the history and players throughout Romes history. Recommended a superb restaurant for lunch. Getting tickets in advance saves considerable time that would be wasted standing in line and having a driver saves wear and tear on the feet. Overall, a great experience.

This tour is an absolute must-do! Our tour guide, Riccardo, was fantastic! Not only did he share a wealth of knowledge about the fascinating history of Rome, but he brought it to life in such an engaging and entertaining way. He even incorporated a little role-playing to help illustrate his points, making the experience both educational and fun! We enjoyed Riccardo immensely! His passion, knowledge, and wonderful personality made this tour one of the highlights of our trip. We were driven around to point out some spots, went to the catacombs amazing, then the Colosseum and the lines were long but our guide got us through the lines and we saw everything, the Vatican forget the lines they were twice as bad as the colosseum and the same guide got us through everything separate lines with nobody on them and when we left we were taken through the royal hallway to outside what a day you definitely you will wait hrs like cattle, we took the private tour just the 2 of us a little pricey but worth it. Tiziana was an amazing tour guide. She was able to customize our entire trip. They were able to pre-book our tickets to Colosseum and inside the Pantheon. She also went to the Lego store for us. Got fresh pizza, cappuccino, in Spanish steps, and the Trevi fountain. 10/10 and highly recommend.

Efficient use of vehicle transport and time limits.

For being in the hub of historical Rome we visited everything on the itinerary and ate lunch within six hours (3 hours was shuttling into Rome and back from the Port of Civitavecchia. Our driver Daniel was superb in navigating the cobblestone streets to get us within 1 minute walking distance of all sites. He was precise with directions of where to meet him when he dropped us off at the sites as well as explaining ticket requirements and waiting times to see the sites. He also warned us of pickpockets in specific crowded areas. Daniel provided us a lot of valuable information. We were offered plenty of water and had adequate restroom stops.

Richardo was informative and entertaining - we saw many sites in the limited time we had

Our transport was cool and comfortable from ship to Rome. Ricardo, our capable guide was both informative and funny. The pace was slow (sometimes too slow for my preference) but it did allow us to stay together especially in the more busy areas. I wish we would’ve had some free time in Piazza Navona and at the Colliseum but we were able to see all the sites listed in the itinerary and made it back to the ship in plenty of time.

We truly enjoyed the experience. Ricardo and his driver were so accommodating, knowledgeable and perfectly synced throughout tour. Having the air conditioned van to take us from spot to spot was absolutely a must in the heat. Not going inside of each location was perfect for us. Be ready for the heat. Lots of water, hat, small hand fan a must.

Nikolai and Andreas arrived at our hotel early and on time to pick us up. We did not have to wonder where they were. Also, we were picked up in a Mercedes van that was very neat and clean. What a nice vehicle to be taken around Rome for our tour! We were taken to several tourist attractions in one day which we would never had been able to accomplish on our own without Nikolai and his ability to navigate these landmarks. We saw the best parts of these attractions because Nikolai knew how to swiftly get us to these places. He personalized our tour to our requests. For instance, we were dropped off at the Vatican at our designated ticket time. We walked a major portion of the Vatican grounds and had our car pick us up at the exit. Very convenient. We would never have seen all 7 sites of our tour had we not booked this private tour. It was well worth the cost based on the time we had in Rome. We had the next day to ourselves and Nikolai provided several suggestions on what we could to on our own for that 2nd day.
