Great way to start our vacation
Raphael was a great tour guide - very friendly and informative. We learned some history about the area as well as the local food and drinks. He was also a good source of information about things to do on the rest of our trip. The pace of the tour was good. We were able to sample many types of food, including breakfast, tea, fruit, a delicious lunch, and dessert. I highly recommend! My family (husband, 18 yr old son, 21 yr old daughter) and I all enjoyed ourselves.

Douro Valley Small-Group Tour
Exceptionally well organised tour. Our guide Alvaro was well versed in the history of Portugal and Port Wines. Small group of six was amazing, all from different parts of the world. Visited two wineries where we explored behind the scenes in the making of wine and Port wines, learning the process of extraction and fermentation and the difference in barrel types and their purpose. Then to the tasting, amazing. Tasted several wines at both locations where we could take our time to enjoy, nothing was rushed.
The river cruise on the Douro was spectacular, seeing the height of the vineyard terracing is mind boggling, and we certainly didn't go hungry at lunch. Three course lunch tasting wonderful traditional Portugese food.
Even though it is a long day, at no point did it seem rushed. Would highly recommend.

Fun afternoon!
Fun afternoon with our family of teens (17, 13 and 13). What a fun way to experience Lisbon... the recipe was easy, the teacher was funny and kind. Would definitely do this again! There were a few younger kids who seemed to enjoy the experience as well!

Douro day trip
Well-paced itinerary and our guide Bruno O took care of us. Great stop at Amarante and then into Pinhao. We did the river cruise which was beautiful and then had a very short wine tour and great tasting at Croft. We ordered a cheese platter which was very enjoyable with the tasting. Lunch was good with more wine and then final viewpoint was spectacular. It was a long ride but glad we didn’t have to drive it. We sat back and enjoyed the experience. Overall a great day! Thank you!

Must Do!
What an amazing food and wine tour! Alice was an outstanding guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience so much fun. Every stop was perfectly chosen, with delicious food and excellent wines. The history and local stories she shared were an unexpected bonus that made the tour even more memorable. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Alice as your guide!

Great tour if you have limited time in Porto.
I did this tour with my Goddaughter the day before our cruise from Lisbon. We both enjoyed the selections. If you don't know a lot about ports, this tour will help your understanding and allow you to sample may varieties. You can learn your favorites, and have the opportunity to purchase, if you desire.

A fun evening and a delicious meal
Renata was a great instructor and chef. She explained our cooking process and got everyone involved. We made several dishes including peri peri chicken, Bacalhau, caldo verde soup and many side dishes. Dessert was amazing as well. Our class chatted with each other while we cooked which made for a fun evening.

Great food tour to start your exploration of Madeira!
This food tour was a great mix of sweet and savory bites from Madeira as well as drinks and a beautiful lunch by the oceanside. Mara was a fantastic tour guide--kind, thorough, and, as a local Madeiran, extremely knowledgeable about the island and its culture. As always, we enjoyed meeting fellow travelers from around the world. We had such a wonderful time--highly recommended!

Fantastic Food & Drink Tour with Ribs in Porto!
Here’s a review you can post:
Fantastic Food & Drink Tour with Ribs in Porto!
We had an amazing time on our Porto food and drink tour with Ribs. He was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and clearly passionate about his hometown. Not only did he explain the food and drinks in great detail, but he also shared fascinating stories about Porto’s history and culture. His pride in being a native of Porto really shined through and made the experience even more special.
There was plenty of delicious food and generous drinks throughout the tour, and everything felt authentic and well thought out. One of the highlights was meeting and chatting with the wonderful people in our group—we had great conversations and lots of laughs together.
If you’re looking for a fun, informative, and delicious way to experience Porto, we highly recommend a tour with Ribs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great for expert chefs and beginners!
This class was great! We are relatively experienced with cooking, but this class was perfect because while some people got the general “learn to cook” explanations, we still felt like it was a great class because we learned all about Portuguese-specific cooking and definitely came home with recipes we will be repeating. You definitely won’t leave this class hungry, plenty of food was made and all of it was delicious!

Informative and fun, we...
Informative and fun, we loved this hands-on, two-hour cooking experience where we learned about both the history and step by step technique in making not only Pastel de Nata, but also Farofias. Everything was so well thought out and paced, and the desserts were absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the clean and bright cooking school environment. Great facility and small group setting. Anna and Marta were wonderful, expert instructors. Again, pace of class was perfect for mixed ages (our group included ages 11 and 15). Fun to sit for a few minutes and enjoy eating our desserts at the very end!

Minnesota home cooks
It was lovely! Directions to get in were a little difficult to understand but we got in on time. Jorge was fantastic. English was excellent. We four guests were all home cooks and learned something. The conversation and the wine went along with a wonderful meal. Our 3 hour event stretched on for 4 and a half hours and that was a GOOD thing. We would wholeheartedly recommend Jorge and already have when we were on a boat and wine tour the next day.
