From start to finish, this port wine experience was exceptional. The setting was beautiful, the wines were outstanding, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated. What truly made the tour unforgettable, however, was our guide, Nuno. His knowledge of port wine, local history, and the Douro region was impressive, but it was his passion, warmth, and storytelling that brought everything to life. He struck the perfect balance of informative and relaxed, making the experience both educational and genuinely fun.

The small number of people on this tour gives a more personal experience. You can ask questions and interact with the rest of the group very easily.
David is extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. You'll visit three different port producers all within a very short distance of each other and you're given a generous sample of 7 different ports in a private tasting rooms. David is also on hand to advise you and give you details of shipping to your home. You'll also be eligible for a 10% discount with the port producers!

This was great experience. Our guide Nuno was very informative and told us so much about Port wine. He was most entertaining! Sampling the various Ports and seeing the cellars was both interesting and fun!

Nuno was an excellent guide. He imparted his knowledge of the port making processes and differences between the various types with enthusiasm. The Ports selected, clearly helped us to understand these differences and determine what our personal preferences are for future selections. It was a highly enjoyable 2.5 hours spent exploring Port wine caves in the streets of Gaia.

It's giving 10 out of 10. What an amazing experience that I won't forget anytime soon. Our guide Nuno was friendly, so knowledgeable, accommodating and overall an excellent guide. We learned so much about Port , Gaia, different flavors profiles and how Port is made. You should be proud of Nuno as he is an excellent ambassador and his passion for port is contagious. When I return, I'll definitely book this tour again. This was by far probably our favorite tour of the 6 or so tours we did over this holiday in Spain , Portugal and France. Yaaass!

I really enjoyed the port tour with Nuno as the guide, he was really knowledgeable and fun. Timing of the tour was perfect for me, not too long, not too short, the perfect thing to do in the middle of the afternoon.

Nuno gave us the experience we hoped for - a fun, highly educational and expansive education about Port wine production, history, culture, and beyond With plenty to taste. As a curious group, there was no question we asked that he couldn’t answer. He made our little tour group more interactive and never made us feel rushed. As a Porto local, he knew it all and kept things fun and light. We loved his sense of humor and appreciated how the tour was organized. We were on a food tour the following day and another couple went to a different producer for a tour — the tour guide there said they should have gone to the Porto producers that Nuno took us to. That validated what we already knew — this tour was the best wine tour we could have chosen. Great experience and value. Thank you Nuno!

Due to being the slow season we ended up with a private tour with Nuno. He is an amazing guide, so much information about port wine and local culture. Nuno was the best tour guide! My 2 20yr olds had so much fun with him as our guide. He gave us so much great info on ports and made it fun with the information not boring like wine tours can be. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone but especially the younger crowd with Nuno
