A great experience with a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Our guide, Diogo, is very connected in this town and we visited 4 restaurants, each with a local specialty and he seemed to know everyone. A great evening.

We did this tour the first night we arrived and were glad we did. It was a great way to sample many traditional foods and drinks with a local expert. We had plenty of food and generous drink options as well. Our guide Duogo was able to recommend other restaurants for.our time in Porto as well.

Diogo was a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide who grew up in Porto. The restaurant staff in each place greeted him like an old friend. The food was delicious, especially the bifana - the piri piri really made it special. Definitely recommend!

This has to be one of the best food tours we’ve ever done! Our guide Leonor was absolutely amazing. We learned so much from her about the food and history of Porto. All of the food was delicious and we highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Fun, filling and informative. Great way to learn more about local food, culture and where to eat like a local. Rivas was a great guide and we had a wonderful small group of other guests. Eating Europe puts together great experiences.

Diablo made our experience full. He provided an expanse of historical information of the city as we walked between the food venues. He took us to off the beaten path restaurants to have a full cultural experience. (The food was delicious!) He catered to our dietary needs and even made a last minute, change for one of the venues to do so. Dioblo was personable, fun, and super knowledgeable. Because of him, our experience will be a lasting memory for my husband and I. I 100% recommend this tour.

A wonderful evening with Diogo (“Ribs”)! We sampled a variety of local dishes and wines/beers while we toured and learned about different parts of Porto. Diogo was an engaging and informative host. He gave us great information about the places we visited and the foods/drinks we had. He was so good at engaging with everyone that it felt like we were eating with friends. We highly recommend this tour for a fun dinner experience in Porto.

I’ll start by reaching out to Viator and Eating Europe before our experience begin. I was blown away by how responsive and helpful they were. We had a few questions, and they answered them all perfectly. Now, onto the tour! We absolutely loved it, Beatrice, our tour guide was amazing. She was super knowledgeable and really kept us engaged. She explained every food and drink item we tried, and she even told us about the history of Porto and Portugal. We loved that we went to real restaurants where the locals go. If we ever lived in Porto, you can be sure we’d be going to those places all the time.

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour. The food was amazing and gave us a great introduction to Portughese meals. Our guide, G, made everything fun and we also enjoyed meeting other fellow travelers. I was a bit worried that the walking would be very hilly but it was not. Great restaurants, food, and most of all company! Will sign up for Eating Europe tours again on our next trip!

The guide was very good and charismatic but the choice or bars and restaurants was really low consider that the standard is high in Porto. The food was not good at all

Appetizers at 2 places with the best sliced ham I’ve had in Portugal at the first stop! Great bifana with Peri peri sauce at second; 1/2 francesina that was very good at third; delicious cod fish fritter with even better y tomato rice at 4th; and pastry and port tonic at the last. Different wine and beers offered at first 4 locations were all good.
But the best part was our fabulous guide, Gonçalo who was so fun and informative and was so easy to talk to.
Would highly recommend this tour!!!

Our guide was fantastic. Additionally he was able to accommodate my dietary restrictions with great alternatives. Sometimes the alternatives offered can be a boring. Mine were very flavorful. He was also very knowledgeable and made everyone feel welcomed. It was a rainy evening and that wasn’t an issue given his pleasant demeanor and thoroughness.
