The company we went with was Sea to Summit and Shahn was our driver, he was very knowledgeable about the area and wine. We went to three wineries in the Valley and sampled local Pinot Noirs. Great experience!

We had a wonderful day on the small group Wilamette Valley Wine Tasting. Shawn was our driver and he contacted us where , when, and described the pickup arrangements. Our transport was a nice comfortable Mercedes sprinter van. The three wineries were such fun, and each provided a bonus. We visited Rex Hill. Tressori, and Eutopia. Each was lovely and unique. I always book small group tours to make the experience more personal. This tour did not disappoint , and Shawn was an amazing host. On our return to Portland, he recommended Gilda’s for dinner and even called the chef to alert him that we were coming. The chef also was gracious enough to make room for us. And find us a table. We made such great friends and had a memorable day. I highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommend this tour! Shahn was a great tour guide…very professional with tons of interesting info to share. He was super helpful with securing a packing box and packing the wine we wanted to take home. Wilamette Valley is beautiful!

What a great experience!! I’ve been on many wine tours, in the states and out of the country and I have to say this was one of my favs!! Our guide Sean was knowledgeable, professional and so accommodating.
It was a small group of 4, which was perfection! And we all had so much fun! The wineries Sean chose was fantastic ( I ended up buying a case!”

Wonderful experience traveling solo for this wine tour. Shahn was super knowledgeable about wine and the Willamette Valley, and made the whole trip a great experience. Would absolutely do this again, or recommend to a friend.

I couldn’t recommend this experience more, whether traveling alone (like me) or with a friend or two. Sean was an excellent tour guide and Sea to Summit was very communicative and helpful. The three wineries we visited were relatively close to downtown Portland but offered the full range of experiences in Oregon wines. Also the tip Sean shared regarding building a case of wine and sending it home as a piece of checked luggage was a game changer. Hope to find myself back in the Portland area some day soon and on another Sea to Sunmit/Viator tour.

Shahn , the guide, was very knowledgeable about the area and the growing procedures and the geography of how the valley was formed. The van was comfortable and nice. The vineyard picked to visit was lovely and very friendly and not crowded. We even met the wine maker/owner at one vineyard. We stopped to order lunch which we ordered to go and then our guide took us to the vineyard so we can drink our wine with our lunch. Overall a great time! We left around 10:30 and were back around 6pm, so fun day!

Shahn was an amazing guide and gave us so much history of the area! All of his recommendations were spot on - from the wineries to the food to things to do after the tour - and it was absolutely worth spending a little more for the tastings to be included in the total price. Overall an amazing experience and will recommend to anyone traveling to the Portland area!!

Our guide was extremely personable and knowledgeable. He is obviously well connected as he knew employees personally at the wineries. I love that the tasting fees were included. We tried 20 wines across 3 gorgeous locations! I can’t speak highly enough about our experience and it was the best part of our vacation!

What an amazing journey through the Willamette Valley wine country. The three stops were very unique, and off the beaten path - we tried wines you cannot find anywhere except at those wineries. Shawn was an amazingly knowledgeable tour guide, describing the rich history of the valley all the way back to how the various souls came to be in the valley.

From pick-up to drop off at the end of the tour, Sean (guide/driver) was superb. He was knowledgeable, on time, and ensured we had fun!! I was most impressed by the thoroughness and depth of the tastings- we visited 3 vineyards so we experienced the larger and boutique vineyards.
Highly recommend this group which I lucked upon-Summit to Sea Adventures for a truly fun trip while in OR.

I booked this last minute, just did not have time to research and book my own appointments. The small, local wineries we visited were a perfect experience of the typical Willamette winery and I would have not discovered on my own. The tour guide, Sean, was knowledgeable about the area and shared great stories and experiences. I would highly recommend this tour as a solo traveler.
