Beautiful waterfalls, not too crowded, it was a great experience. Perfect for solo travelers as well!

There were extras included that were not advertised in the tour description, and that was a plus. This included transportation in a shuttle van, a microphone headset connected to the vehicle speakers that were used to narrate interesting facts about the city/buildings/sites/birds as we drove to our destination, and much info about botany when we started walking toward the waterfalls. Our guide was friendly and so knowledgeable.

This is the second time i’ve gone on this tour. I enjoyed it so much the first time I visited Portland in October 2024, that I had to do it again. This tour allows you to see the prettiest waterfalls, and the tour guides are amazing. We got so lucky with weather as well. It was a gorgeous day which allowed for even prettier views. Every time I visit Portland I will do this tour again with this group.

We had a great time on this tour! The views were beautiful and we really enjoyed everything.
James was an awesome guide. She was very knowledgeable, fun, friendly, and you can tell she really loves her city. She made the tour even better.
Thank you, James!

james/jamie was a good host for the group and it did not make the 4 hours seem long will do again, 10/10 vibes

They provide water and snacks. It's a definite must see. Our Tour Guide James was AMAZING.. Be sure to request James!!

Amazing half day tour with Shannon. She was so pleasant and knowledgeable of her state. Hands down this was one of the best trips ever due to the trails, views and hike. Shannon packs a lot in but not unbearable. She was concerned about your safety and ensuring you got the best of the best. I will be back. Thank you for showing a Floridian how Oregonians get down.
Karen_N, Apr 2026
Shannon was an excellent tour guide. She knows so much about Portland and the falls that we visited including a good bit about the vegetation. She shared that information with us in a very conversational manner (NOT rote tour guidey). The tour exceeded my expectations.

You can see all of the waterfalls from an area that is easy to get to. Some of the waterfalls have trails you can do a short hike to. We had a 3 year old and my mother who is 69 with us. They were able to all of the trails.
James was our tour guide and she was awesome!!

Wear boots or shoes that support your ankles-rocky paths and hilly! Water and snacks provided, so just bring a hat, jacket and your camera/phone.
Our guide, Angela, was obviously experienced-she anticipated our needs and questions. Knowledgeable as well as kind!

This was an amazing experience, kid friendly , my daughters are 9 years old and they were able to go on all the hikes, tour guide Sara was very knowledgeable, she made this experience just wonderful. I definitely recommend it especially if you are new to Oregon.
Elizabeth_B, Apr 2026
It was really great to have the tour guide there to tell us about all the best spots. The falls were beautiful and definitely highly recommend!
Phil_R, Apr 2026
Finding the pickup point proces awkward. If you arrive early it's impossible to find the office. The tour was excellent. The waterfalls are outstanding and quite accessible. Short hikes in most cases. Our guide Connie, Callie? Was informative about the flora and fauna, so the tour was educational as well.
Andra_D, Apr 2026
The waterfalls were absolutely beautiful. The tour guide was very informative. She didn't rush us, she allowed everyone to move at their own pace. Our group ages were from 20+ to almost 70.
Jennifer_R, Apr 2026
Carrie was very knowledgeable and friendly, she answered questions and offered information about the area. The trip was totally amazing and fun.
Diane_T, Apr 2026
Excellent tour! James is incredibly knowledgeable about Portland's history, topography, natural features, and rock formations. They explain everything clearly and engagingly, and they were also very friendly and welcoming. I was impressed by how much information they shared. Thank you for taking the photos, too!

Great Tour with James. Friendly guide. Great views of the Columbia gorge and awesome waterfalls. Well organized tour. Great way to see these Portland sites if you only have half a day.

I can't reccomend this excursion enough. My husband and I just had a few days in Oregon but wanted to enjoy some of it's beauty and get outside. Our tour guide James did such an excellent job. She is full of knowledge about all things Oregon and a super kind person. This tour was perfect for the amount of time we had. We got to see so many waterfalls in just one afternoon! It was incredible!
Alexandra_F, Apr 2026
Well organized tour of major waterfalls. A great way to see alot if short on time.. Be prepared to walk a lot but not too strenuous. Very informative with lots of bathroom/coffee breaks. They provided water and a small snack. Carrie was a great tour guide with lots of knowledge!

Amazing experience!! Our guide, Carrie, was so personable and knowledgeable about Portland and the Falls! Highly recommended…. No need to stress out about directions and parking! Loved that we got to explore the less touristy falls as well! 10/10!

It was an amazing tour. For cozy and so nice to explore each waterfall. Our tour guide was so sweet and talk a lot about the history and nature within the frost. Absolutely would recommend!! It was just me and my husband and another couple so it wasn’t super busy and we really enjoyed it all together
Christina_B, Apr 2026
Carrie was an awesome tour guide! She is so knowledgeable about the area and her love of Portland comes through in all she shares about the area. The scenery was out of this world. We would not hesitate to join her on a tour again.
