A Portland Area “Must Do”

Aimee_G, Jul 2026
This was worth every penny! Evan greeted the group and kept the tour moving from waterfall to waterfall. He was knowledgeable and encouraged all questions. This experience allowed me to sit back, relax and take in the falls without having to navigate or pay for parking while also being educational. Thanks, Evan!

Expertly Guided Gorgeous Falls

We did a Wednesday afternoon tour with Shannon. She was a phenomenal guide: a native Oregonian, extremely knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. We felt as if we were family or friends. We went to 4 different falls and each was special. She explained the history of Oregon, she told us so many fascinating facts, and knew about local flora and fauna. My daughter and I had a beautiful afternoon, as the weather was divine. I would definitely book again. I encourage you to do the same. 😁

Amazing waterfall tour

Great Experience in my own Backyard!

Jeanne_R, Jul 2026
I live locally, but decided to do this tour with my son (12yo) and his cousin visiting from out of state (14yo) so I didn’t have to drive and worry about parking and permits. I’m so glad I did! The van is great, cool & comfortable and easy to take in the sights. But the best part was James, our tour guide! We learned so much about the history of the area and so much about the geology of the area. The teen/tweens were super into it! James also made quick stop at a fruit stand. I bought the best berries I’ve ever had, and. I felt good about supporting a local fruit farm. James had a friendly relationship with the fruit stand owner who was also great. The fruit stand owner answered questions I had about my own blueberry bushes! James told us a lot about the history of the Vista House before we saw it which helped us take in and enjoy the experience. James was also great at making sure we had water, snacks and knew where the restrooms at each stop were. I highly recommend this tour and our tour guide, James. I will definitely take any future family/friends who visit Portland on this trip in the future.

You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and it made all the difference. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and we would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. If you have the chance to tour with Evan, don’t hesitate, he’s fantastic! Thank you for such a memorable day!

Carrie was awesome! She is very knowledgeable about the local history and culture. Appreciate her showing us around and teaching us about local foraging options. My son kept picking thimble berries and enjoying them along our hikes. We checked out Powell’s Books and a good pod, per Carrie’s suggestions.

Highly enjoyable!

Save the hassle, go do chasing waterfalls

Whitney_S, Jul 2026
Sarah was a great, careful driver and so knowledgeable about local history, plants, even geology of the area. I get really anxious about driving on steep, curvy roads and she totally put me at ease. I didn’t have to miss out on the sights, but saved myself all the stress of driving there myself.
