IMPORTANT PICK-UP INFORMATION: Tour pick-ups start up to 45 minutes prior to the tour start time. The pick-up time you will be given depends on the location of the hotel you are staying at. When you book the tour, America's Hub World Tours will email you a ticket with your 15-minute pick-up window. At the beginning of the 15-minute pick-up window, please stand at the hotel lobby doors and look for a Sprinter van. Your Tour Guide will arrive within the 15-minute pick-up window listed.

Your trip through Willamette Valley wine country begins with an afternoon pickup from your central Portland hotel. Grab a comfortable seat in the Mercedes Sprinter Van and watch the cityscape give way to verdant hills, expansive farm land, and views of the Cascade Mountains. Spend the brief ride chatting with your guide about the region's history, once known for its fruit orchards and nurseries, and its current renown as a premier producer of fine wine.
Pass through the charming towns of Newberg, Forest Grove, Sherwood, and Gaston on your way to three acclaimed wineries. With more than 250 vineyards to choose from in the Willamette Valley, your in-the-know guide will design a custom itinerary for your small group. Possible stops include Erath Winery to sip an award-winning pinot noir or the Stoller Family Estate, where you can view breathtaking vineyards from their signature glass tasting room, a landmark in sustainable architecture.
At each winery, sip on hand-selected wines (at your own expense) that suit all tastes, from red varietals like syrah, tempranillo, and cabernet sauvignon to prized chardonnay and pinot gris. By the end of the tour, you’ll better understand the unique relationship between the valley's volcanic soils, elevation, and protective microclimates—ideal for producing cool-climate varietals like pinot noir—and the art of sustainable viticulture in Oregon.

This is the tour to beat. It started with a prompt pickup. Comfortable seating and a narration by Niko. A prize win for this company. Niko was outstanding. Informative, knowledgeable and a great director of storytelling. Most definitely will recommend this tour. Of course the wineries were exceptional and a real treat to a novice wine drinker. Will be back.

Gunner, our guide and driver, was incredibly friendly, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable about the areas we visited. He enriched our experience with interesting facts and insights about Portland and the wineries along the way. His attention to detail was much appreciated — including providing bottled water in the car to keep us refreshed during and after the wine tastings. We truly enjoyed the day, thanks to his thoughtful and engaging guidance.

It was great. I got to meet people from other parts of the country. Our guide was great. He was very friendly and informative. All of the staff at the vineyards were very friendly and informative also. It was a really nice day to take this tour.
I took this tour 8 yrs ago. At that time, the tasting fees were included in the ticket price and our guide brought a charcuterie board. Times have changed. The price has gone up and tasting fees and snacks are not included in the ticket price. All in all, it was a very nice experience.

We were 2 couples & one other person. We are from CA & are avid wine people who have been to over 100 wine tasting rooms. Two rooms had knowledgeable people & were very nice. The 3rd room person poured the wines in measured beakers & left it to us to pour our own wine with very little input about the wines. We knew that lunch was not included, but no time was allocated to pick up sandwiches at a fast-food place. One room had $5 worth of supermarket vegetables & hummus for $25. Considering that there's no hotel pick up, we had to UBER in both directions for $100 total. The tour component was 4.5 hours. Our driver, Gunnar, was very nice & very familiar with Portland & the tour area. The tasting fees were included, which is a positive aspect of the tour, but the wineries do waive that fee with purchases of wine. In summary, I would warn future visitors to pack food with them or have time allocated to get lunch. Time at the wineries could easily have been shortened.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in the tour. When booking this tour people are informed that they should eat lunch prior to the tour, that limited food is available at the wineries, and that outside food is not allowed at wineries. We do pick up at hotels but you stayed at a hotel that is outside of our pick up zone in downtown Portland. The majority of people find the wine served in beakers to be charming, but clearly you did not. In the future I would recommend thoroughly reading the tour itinerary and additional info listed on tours so that you are fully informed before booking the tour.

The gorgeous countryside and personal attention from the tour guide and winery hosts was delightful. Not only do you get to enjoy delectable local wines without having to drive yourself, but you get some history and wine making lore.

One of the best wine tasting experiences I've had ! We had an amazing tour guide who knew the entire area and even gave us locals some tips on restaurants, shops, and local events! Our group was fantastic and we all created a special bond that we will remember forever. Truly a fantastic experience and excellent selection of wineries that represented Oregon and Washingtons well know Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, and Riesling.

This tour was the perfect addition to our annual Girl's Trip! Our tour guide, Gunner, was very nice and full of fun facts about Portland. We stopped at three wineries, which were a decent distance from each other. The rides were comfortable and didn't seem long at all. We were able to have plenty of time at each winery to enjoy the wine, chat with the staff, and take a few pictures. I highly recommend this tour. It made wine tasting easy and fun!

We had a fun wine tour on Sep 28 and went to Blakeslee, Durant and Domaine Serene. Our guide was nice and informative. Durant has a wonderful olive farm and you can also do an olive oil/balsamic vinegar tasting there. We really enjoyed our tour!

My wife and I had a wonderful time on our afternoon tour of Willamette wineries! The communication leading up to our tour made downtown pick-up easy and convenient. Our tour guide Heather was fantastic! She was very fun and engaging, and knowledgable about the region and wines we were tasting. We had a chance to visit three great boutique wineries in the valley throughout the afternoon and tasted some great pinots. We didn't feel rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy good wine in a relaxed and engaging setting. This was a great way to wind down our honeymoon tour of the PNW.
