What are people saying about Lisbon

What a great day!
Pedro was great. Wow, does he know his history, dates, royalty bloodlines and information. Plus, his suggestions meant we didn't have to wait in long lines like other people and we had a great restaurant for lunch. He tailored the day based on our requests and was so flexible and knowledgeable. We saw a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thank you, Pedro!

More than just a day trip…!
Miguel is an exceptionally well-informed and passionate guide, with a deep knowledge of Portugal’s history—particularly that of Fátima. He presents cultural and historical information in an engaging and dynamic manner, keeping the group attentive and interested throughout. Our experience went far beyond the histories of Fátima, Nazaré, and Óbidos. Miguel also demonstrated extensive knowledge of other aspects of Portugal, including its native eucalyptus and pine forests, regional wines and their production, and the cork industry. My wife and I would highly recommend Miguel as a tour guide, not only for his expertise but also for his personable nature and charm. Robert Armstrong/Rosemary Fernandez 14/4/26

Beautiful day in Sintra
Sintra is a special place, an oasis outside the city. We visited in mid-April and it was beautiful — so green. Our tour guide, Maya, who I highly recommend, made it a truly enjoyable day. She was punctual, knowledgeable and cordial. Enjoyed our conversations.

Sintra, Cabo da roca and Pena palace tour
This was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Cascais is a charming beachfront town, offering a delightful selection of eateries and shops. Our second stop, Cabo da Roca, was truly exhilarating—its dramatic ocean views and iconic lighthouse provided stunning photo opportunities. Our tour guide, Vasco, was personable and highly knowledgeable, offering valuable insights into the history of each location as well as Portugal’s political and monarchical past. Sintra, our next destination, was enchanting—rustic, mystical, and full of character. We were given ample time to explore at our own pace and enjoy lunch at a local establishment, which enhanced the overall experience. The final stop at Pena Palace was breathtaking. The palace itself resembles a fairy-tale castle, surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds filled with diverse trees, flowers, and vegetation. Visitors should be prepared for a moderately challenging 20-minute uphill walk to the entrance; however, shuttle options are available for convenience. Overall, this tour was well-paced, informative, and memorable. A sincere thank you to Vasco for being such an outstanding host and guide.
