Excellent Sintra Tour

The tour was excellent. Our tour guide was very professional and well organised. Everything went smoothly. The tour guide even arranged a lunch reservation at a restaurant in Sintra, where the food was really good. It was busy, so if she hadn't arranged the reservation, we would have struggled to get in. The tour does involve climbing some pretty steep hills and generally involves a lot of walking, so unlikely to be suitable for anyone with health conditions.

Fantastic day out

Wear comfortable trainers , there’s a LOT of walking and uneven surfaces, up and down hills. Our guide Emilio was fantastic , full of fun and very informative. Sintra and Pena Palace are of course beautiful and then Cascais is an upmarket town full of restaurants bars shops and the beach. Take water and few snacks but you can buy food on the go or sit down at Pena, Sintra and Cascais.

Worth Every Step: A Wonderful Portugal Experience

We had a wonderful full-day tour of Portugal, and our guide, Joao Gomes, made the experience even better. He was relaxed, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable from the start. Pickup was easy, yellow shirt can’t miss. The tour includes quite a bit of walking, including cobblestone streets, hills, and an uphill walk (or short hike for some) to castles. A few people in our group weren't fully prepared for the walking (flip flops or sandals with heals) but Joao did an excellent job supporting them while also keeping the rest of the group on schedule. He balanced everyone's needs with patience and professionalism. We had a nice amount of free time to explore on our own, for lunch, drinks and snacks, and the schedule offered enough flexibility without feeling rushed, but enough time for lunch and drink/coffee. It really is a full-day tour, but it was worth every minute, no regrets! A few tips for future travelers: Wear comfortable walking shoes. Stretch your legs before the tour, you'll appreciate it! Bring a water bottle, although there are plenty of opportunities to buy drinks along the way. Bring some cash, as a few smaller shops during free time are cash-only, though many places accept credit cards. If you have any walking or mobility limitations, contact the tour company before booking. Portugal is beautiful, but it can be hot, hilly, and full of stairs and cobblestone streets. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Joao, for making it such a memorable day! What a great trip. We had a man telling us about the Lisbon , who was very warm & funny but knowledgeable. Then we went on the water and drove past some fantastic buildings with commentary again. Lasts about 1.5 hours in total and was a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend doing this if in Lisbon

Interesting experience. The palace is fantastic. The view of the farest west point of Eurobean land is awsome. The tour guide explains every thing in English then in french because we had half of the team from Australia and half from the french Canada. Since I speak both english and French, I heared eveything twice. Interesting!
