Our entire day was seamless, scenic, and full of unforgettable moments. Our driver Jeff was amazing; he contacted us the day before so that we were aware that with the weather we were unlikely to see Mt Fuji and he helped us to look for some alternative places to visit instead of visiting the mountain. He took us to stunning Temples, shrines, to areas of scenic beauty and we spent time at the peaceful Lake Ashi and the Hakone region. He helped us find a great local restaurant where we had a wonderful lunch and every stop felt thoughtfully chosen. The private experience made all the difference; no rushing, just a relaxed day tailored to what we wanted to see. He spoke excellent English and answered all our questions about the region, and we learned about the area’s history, culture, and natural landscape, and even though we did not see the mountain we had an amazing time. A fantastic way to experience one of Japan’s most iconic regions. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a smooth, scenic, and truly memorable day.

Weather was wonderful, clear sky, couldn’t have asked for a better one day tour. As a small improvement, we could have skipped the convenient store stop and added that time to the Pagoda time.

I was a solo traveler and this was one of the first activities I did when I arrived to Tokyo. The show was very informative, engaging, and accommodating. You could keep ordering food throughout the performance. And it was lengthy enough to where it felt you got your moneys worth. They also take a group picture at the end with a professional camera and with your phone, which meant a lot as a solo traveler because it’s more difficult to get my pictures taken. I highly recommend this experience!

One of the highlights of our Japan trip. What a blast. We were on a small group tour to Japan and invited about 6 of our other tour members to join us on this excursion. Loads of fun. A couple of Sumo wrestlers gave a demonstration along with a few practice rounds. Made it fun and entertaining. Also gave audience members an opportunity to wrestle them at the end of the show. The tour also provided a short Geisha show. Included all the food and drink you wanted (from a limited menu that included some alcohol) during the show. The service was prompt and attentive. Would definitely do again with friends.

A Night Ride Through Shibuya Crossing

Driving through Tokyo in a street go-kart with friends and family was easily one of the wildest and most unforgettable experiences of my entire trip to Japan. There is honestly nothing quite like cruising through the heart of Tokyo, surrounded by neon lights, massive screens, and the nonstop energy of the city — and then suddenly finding yourself driving straight through the famous Shibuya Crossing while hundreds of people wave, smile, and take photos. It felt surreal, like stepping into a movie or a video game brought to life. The entire experience was extremely well organized from start to finish. The staff were professional, friendly, and made safety a top priority while still keeping the atmosphere fun and exciting. They clearly explained the rules, guided the group carefully through the city, and made everyone feel comfortable even if it was their first time driving in Japan. Seeing Tokyo from this perspective was completely different from ordinary sightseeing. Driving past Shibuya, Harajuku, and other iconic neighborhoods at night gave the city an entirely different energy — vibrant, electric, and unforgettable. What made the experience even better was the reaction from people on the streets. Everyone seemed excited, waving and cheering as we passed by, which made the entire ride feel incredibly fun and interactive. If you are visiting Tokyo and want an experience that is exciting, unique, and unlike anything you can do anywhere else in the world, I highly recommend this. It was pure adrenaline, nonstop smiles, and one of the absolute highlights of our Japan trip. Thank you from your New York crew! Not only was it enjoyable to see the Sumo wrestlers engage in their craft, but our host (John) shared interesting and important information about the lives of these dedicated athletes and an overview of the various moves they employ to win. His commentary added a great deal to the overall experience. It was theatrical at times but much fun!

Great fun! Book a night ride through Shibuya Crossing

We enjoyed the ride through Shibuya Crossing on the "Mario Carts". What fun! We hit top speed of 43 mph on side stretches and our Guide, Bird, was fantastic and made us feel safe on the busy roads. The ride lasted about 45 minutes and we went through the Crossing twice. Recommend Bird, as a Guide, also recommend this location and a night drive (bonus of the cooler temp while wearing the costumes). This trip involves planning, as you must get your International Driving Permit prior to departure of home country. In USA, IDP is available at AAA office for a small fee.
