All Mongolia Tours & Excursions in 2026

This was a great trip. Navigating traffic in Ulaan Baatar is always a struggle but my guide was patient, efficient, and safe. His English was excellent and we had great conversations about life in Mongolia and my home in Canada. The Chinggis Khaan statue is enormous. I think we were the only ones there that day probably because it was -25C that morning. We had a light lunch in a nomad’s ger where we were served Mongolian fried rice and hot milk. Just the perfect lunch on a cold day. We went to the Meditation Temple but didn’t make the short climb because of the cold and wind. It was a truly enjoyable trip.

I had a truly wonderful experience exploring Ulaanbaatar and its surroundings with Byamba. He was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the trip, making my time in Mongolia memorable and enjoyable. Byamba took me to see the magnificent Chinggis Khan Statue Complex, the beautiful Terelj National Park, Zaisan Hill Monument. He even took me to tradional dance Mongolian which was amazing and is recommend and several local highlights around the city. He shared fascinating insights about Mongolian history, culture, and daily life, which really brought each place to life. What stood out most was his genuine kindness and willingness to help with anything I needed from taking great photos to ensuring I was comfortable at all times. His professionalism, patience, and warm personality made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Byamba to anyone visiting Mongolia. He’s not just a guide he’s someone who makes you feel welcome, looked after, and connected to this incredible country. Thank you so much Byamba.

This tour was precisely what we wanted. We paid more for a private car and a ger with private bathroom, but it was well worth it! Everything was well organized, and we thoroughly enjoyed our excursion into the beautiful landscapes outside Ulaanbaatar. Our guide, Iggy, speaks outstanding English and is very knowledgeable, which is an enormous bonus - I say this as someone who has suffered through so many tourist excursions, smiling courteously whilst either trying desperately to make head or tail of the guide's explanations,or having simply turned off out of self-preservation. With Iggy, it was all straightforward and great fun! (He even drives safely). Thanks a million - it was a wonderful Mongolian experience.

This half day tour was perfect for our group of 4. We all had different arrivals in UB and we were able to rendezvous as a final group with this tour. Our guide Enjii was lovely in accommodating our different pick up points and really kept us on track to visit all the sites as advertised. Driver efficiently transported us to Chinggis Khan equestrian statute, Turtle Rock and to the beautiful Aryapala Meditation Temple. Enjii was very knowledgeable and passionate about each of the places we visited. Thank you for a wonderful half day excursion on our first day in UB!!

We had an outstanding full day tour of the highlights of Ulaanbaatar with our driver / guide Byambaa on our first day in Mongolia. He timely picked us up at our hotel and took us to all of the main attractions in the city as well as a few additional sites that we wanted to see. He was great at explaining the history and culture and answering our questions. He was happy to spend as much time as we wanted at any location and to customize the itinerary to our wishes. He was personable and friendly and fun to spend the day with. We highly recommend this tour for a terrific day in Ulaanbaatar!

Our driver was waiting for us when we exited baggage claim even though our flight was late. He was courteous and got us to UB in about an hour which was great considering the traffic into the city after we left the highway. We felt safe and that we were in good hands. Highly recommend.

A good day out in the sun! Our guide Enhrgl was great: easy-going, informative and enthusiastic. He took some great photos of the horse ride. A couple of horses were skittish; we were led by ropes past traffic/cows for most of our ride. While we were eventually allowed to ride on our own when surroundings were calmer, I'm not sure if more experienced riders would enjoy being tied by ropes to the horse at the front. The ride was mainly past ger encampments, sadly not the most picturesque of landscapes at times. The hillside meditation centre was lovely but the statue complex unfortunately had the air of a tourist trap. Lunch at Big Sky Lodge was excellent with a home-cooked feel.

It was a beautiful and easy way to get a more proper insight into Mongolia. Both my guide Tsoki and the driver Zoloo were extremely kind and making all possible effort so that I could feel comfortable and see the places of my interest. The monastery at Erdenne Zuu is extraordinary and itself already worth the journey. The yurt campsite was also very interesting and there was a live music performance at night.
