Jack did a great job. He was very informative and entertaining. He did a tremendous job keeping track of Everybody. I would only recommend that he slow his speech down. He spoke to fast and so it was sometimes hard to follow. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

Excellent work and well done

YiYi_A, Apr 2026
The Tour guide TOM is very good and very well done in whole trip. Very respectful, resourceful and knowledgeable person all trips from Tokyo to Mt Fuji. I will definitely recommend to all my relatives and friends from USA

Must do tour

Jakia_n, Apr 2026
This experience was amazing. Erik was an amazing tour guide. He was knowledgeable, funny, and very nice. We went to multiple different locations around Mount Fuji and I was surprised at how much time we got to explore at each location. The food at the last stop was really good. This tour was the highlight of our trip.

Fantastic tour for solo travelers

Raegan_T, Apr 2026
Awesome experience, the tour stops at all the amazing locations I wanted to visit. Erik (our tour guide) was very knowledgeable and super welcoming. Thank you for an amazing day!!

Kousei was our travel guide, great experience and very accomodating! We saw several different locations with great views of mt Fuji/cherry blossoms. The tour included a cruise ride and cable car transfer with a great Japanese lunch.

An amazing day

Sarah_R, Apr 2026
An exceptional tour outside the hustle and bustle of the city. The stops all had gorgeous scenery and we had time to briefly go off on our own. I wish we had a little more time but understandably we had to stay on schedule to fit everything in. We were incredibly fortunate the weather allowed perfect views of Mt. Fuji! A dream come true. I can’t say enough good things about our guide Andrew-he was just fantastic! Enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Andrew for making the day all the better.

My Fuji: Raining Days = zero visibility

shontae_j, Apr 2026
It rained 100% of our tour. As a result, there was zero visibility of Mt. Fuji from cable car, pirate ship, and stops near the mountain. The tour company should cancel the tour when the rain percentage is high. This was a wasted 10-hour day of our vacation. My request for refund was declined.

Ask for Captain Jack as your tour guide

Breathtaking tour of Mt. Fuji, Hakone, and had a delicious lunch! We had the BEST tour guide Jack, who was very knowledgeable, understanding, and kind. We had the best time on our trip

Full day with Mt Fuji

Julie_L, Apr 2026
Great trip. Slightly chaotic to start with trying to find our Guide, but once we were all on the coach we had a great day. Absolutely amazing to see Mt Fuji in all her glory. Edward was a great guide.

Beautiful Excursions!

Great tour of Mount Fuji

Navin_S, Apr 2026
Great tour - good to See a few things in one day. James was a great guy, very knowledgeable & helpful with all of us on the trip

Mt Fuji Hakone tour

shubha_s, Apr 2026
The overall experience was good mainly because of the tour guide - Jack. However, we were a little disappointed because the tour did not take the spots for optimal viewing of Mt. Fuji. Overall the tour covered the general Hakone area and had good pit stops for lunch and local ice cream. The Mt. Fuji Shrine and lake Ashi are beautiful but the other spots especially the pirate ship can be passed on. Thanks to Jack again for making the trip as efficient and well organized as possible.

Incredible experience, great host and good times

Patrick_M, Apr 2026
It was a truly great time. James was very funny, pushed everyone to be punctual, and clearly worked very hard to make sure we got the best experience. Mt Fuji was gorgeous, we got very lucky to have 100% visibility and it was truly breathtaking.

James is the best

Levi_L, Apr 2026
Thank you Erick, it was fun and memorable experiences, the funny part is that people are more interested in Erick working as tour guy in Japan than the Fuji mountain. 😆

Jack was a great guide for the Mt Fuji trip

Ravi_V, Apr 2026
Although it was raining in ghs morning Jack did his best to keep us entertained. He was very helpful and friendly.

Mt Fuji and so much more

Ian_G, Apr 2026
Erik was amazing! One of the best and funniest guides we’ve had in Japan. Despite the weather actively working against him, he was still able to make the day worth it and added many laughs along the way. 10/10 would recommend!

Great host but terrible weather ruined the itinerary. Wouldn't book again without ability to cancel for bad weather.

Mark_J, Apr 2026
First off, I want to say that the 2/5 star rating is only that high because of our tour guide Laila. Outside of that, it was a 0 or 1 at best. In an ideal world, I have no doubt this tour would have been a great itinerary filled with beautiful scenery made better by an excellent guide. The harsh reality though is that it was raining, windy, foggy and single digit temperatures despite us touring in late march. At no stage did we have any hope of even glimpsing Mount Fuji, and a number of the activities exposed us to the elements making the bulk of the day an uncomfortable blend of soggy socks, extremely long bus trips and drastic temperature changes. Frankly, had it not been for Laila's amazing efforts to provide a good experience and do the best she could with the poor tools at her disposal, I would be demanding a refund as it was EASILY the worst experience we had on our two week trip. The Hakone Shrine was beautiful, albeit an issue for accessibility with a LOT of (wet and slippery) stairs to get where you need to go. The Hakone Pirate Ship was really cool, but once again no views and very wet and windy with limited indoor seating as it was packed and the main benefit (the outdoor experience) was to be avoided. The package also says "Please note that the ticket for the cruise is not included. It is around 12USD. If you don't take the boat, you can also choose to take our tour bus to the next attraction." but it was not really a choice to take the bus so this is a bit misleading. We got on the Ropeway at Togendai station, but could only see about 20 metres out of the fogged up windows and certainly couldn't see Mount Fuji or anything interesting other than trees. At the top was the Owakudani Valley stop, where we got limited time for lunch and a look at the famous "black eggs" and the hot springs. On a good day this wouldn't have been a long enough stop, but luckily the hot springs were not visible anyway as too much fog, so we just had a bog average lunch in the visitor centre (on the low end of what we ate in Japan, if not the worst thing we ate) and then trapsed through the rain to the bus. The next stop was Lake Yamanaka where it was rainy, windy and about 5 degrees. The entire tour huddled in the family mart until we left for the next stop as it was unbearable for longer than 2 mins outside. The highlight of this trip on this particular day was the last top at Oshino Hakkai, a cute little village where we could buy snowmelt water from Mount Fuji and get stuck into some local street food. We had some delicious wagyu skewers, deep fried cheesy potato sticks, enjoyed the village and then jumped on the 2.5 hour bus ride home. Frankly we could have had a similar experience in Tokyo city or local to that though, so even this only redeemed the trip somewhat. At every single stop there were the same two groups of people that made the bus depart late, and then one of the (ladies if you can call her that) called the host a b***h for pulling her on about consistently delaying the group. Honestly, if I had my time over, the risk of bad weather on this trip made it the only experience I had in the two weeks in Japan that I regret booking - particularly at the price. The risk of bad weather combined with the high price of the trip would make me not recommend it to anyone travelling to Tokyo. Laila our host did a tremendous job considering what was on offer, and was very apologetic about the weather, but the operator should have cancelled the tour and refunded our money and I would go so far as to actively warn people against booking this tour unless they can cancel if it looks like bad weather. I don't know if last minute bookings are possible, but probably the way to go once you know its going to be clear weather as 24 hours earlier would have been perfect but we booked months in advance.

My your to Mt Fuji

Carlos_S, Apr 2026
The guides are very thoughtful and accommodating, especially when someone doesn’t show up on time. They try very hard to get everyone together. At the beginning, it looks very disorganized but communication is key with the guide from the beginning. It did feel rushed and it’s more of a taste of which you can do we don’t spend months time at any location.

Kousei is the best!

Mark_B, Apr 2026
Kousei was our tour guide and he was very friendly and knowledgeable! I would definitively do another tour with Kousei!

A great day in Hakone

Lauren_F, Apr 2026
Day was a little behind due to traffic (but it's cherry blossom season so to be expected) but Kousei did a great job keeping us on track and hitting all the points of the day. We lucked out and got stunning views of Mt. Fuji and I appreciated his knowledge and facts as we traveled through the region from the pirate boat ride, Hakone shrine and a great lunch. Would definitely recommend this tour!

James is the best!

Thanawat_C, Apr 2026
Greatest one-day trip in Japan from many visit. James, our tour guide, is one of the best with high energy and knowledge to save us travel time and long queue.

Today's tour was awesome and have to mention Olivia who was our guide and she did a wonderful job in making our tour informative and enjoyable.. Want to also mention our bus driver Fukushima who drove so carefully and safely all through our journey to Hakine and back

Great sights

Delfina_M, Apr 2026
We had a great time. Although the morning was foggy, we still managed to see and experienced the sights. Olivia was knowledgeable, smart and funny. I recommend this tour.

Mt Fuji

Virginia_H, Apr 2026
Great day, you get to see a lot of different places and experience it all. You don’t have a very long time at each place so you need to listen and pay attention to your tour guide.

The day is packed and you...

Scott_w, Apr 2026
The day is packed and you don't get much time at each stop. Tour guide Yong was great and very informative.

Mt Fuji on a dull Tokyo Day

RAJ_L, Mar 2026
Very difficult to see Mt Fuji when the weather is bad with rain and very cloudy. The rest of the stops were enjoyable especially Hakone village. Our guide Mizki was very apologetic about the weather but did a good back up to keep us interested. Surprisingly for some of the tourists in the group was the additional charge for the pirate ship thinking at the time of booking it was included. Mizki was amazing with keeping us informed. Her vibrant personality added more enjoyment on a rather dull day.
