⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Unforgettable Mt. Fuji Tour with Erik!
Our trip to Mt. Fuji was truly one of the most amazing experiences of our entire visit to Japan, and a huge part of that was because of our wonderful guide, Erik!
From the beginning to the end, Erik was absolutely fantastic. He was kind, friendly, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. He made us feel comfortable and welcome from the very first moment.
The views of Mt. Fuji were breathtaking, but what made the day even more special was the way Erik guided us through the experience. He shared interesting information, helped us enjoy every stop without feeling rushed, and made the entire day fun and memorable. Traveling with my son, I especially appreciated how attentive and thoughtful he was with both of us.
You can tell that Erik doesn't simply do this as a job — he truly wants his guests to have an incredible experience and leave Japan with beautiful memories. And that is exactly what he gave us. ❤️🇯🇵🗻

Erik was absolutely amazing and honestly one of the best tour guides we could have asked for. He made our Mt. Fuji and Hakone experience so much better, and I know for a fact I wouldn’t have enjoyed the day nearly as much without him as our guide.
His English was outstanding, and he was extremely clear and organized throughout the entire tour. He explained the plan perfectly, made sure we always knew what we were doing and where we were going, and answered every single question we had. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, resourceful, and genuinely one of the nicest people we met during our trip.
What really stood out was how much he went above and beyond. Erik didn’t just give us great recommendations for Mt. Fuji and Hakone — he gave us amazing recommendations for the rest of our Japan trip too. He genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible, even beyond the tour itself.
If you have the opportunity to book a tour with Erik, do it. He made the entire experience fun, easy, and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide.

The weather was beautiful and Fuji was visible most of the day. That said- the tour itself was rushed. We hit traffic both ways which wasn’t the tour’s fault but still crammed in all stops and ended up being a 12 hour day. The pirate ship & cable cars aren’t really optional since they drop you off and pick you up in a different location. Both well worth the extra though. Lunch was not good and I’d recommend skipping and grabbing something nearby the restaurant stop or at the next site where there were multiple food vendors.

We were so blessed to see Mt Fuji and had an excellent experience with our guide, James. I would maybe recommend bringing entertainment for the bus unless you really like watching scenery our the window; you do spend a lot of time on the bus. BUT the sightseeing is incredible, there's an excellent lunch stop, plenty of opportunities to get souvenirs, and I would overall highly recommend the trip. Make sure to bring cash and be respectful of others' time.

It’s a long drive but well worth it. Jack was an excellent guide, very helpful, friendly, and organized. I would never have been able to see all these places without this tour.

We had an amazing Mount Fuji tour with Kousei! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The itinerary was well planned, allowing us to see all the highlights without feeling rushed. The first 2/3 of the trip was good, seeing the main sites. Slightly annoyed to have paid almost double for the boat cruise on the bus than advertised at the actual desk. Last 1/3 was tourist trap(s) from lunch (@ 330) to the "village" tour. Long day, could easily end before the lunch.

We highly recommend this tour. Our guide, Jack was amazing from pick-up to drop-off. He was on time and we enjoyed each activity. He provided background history to every place we went and shared some tips and experiences. We managed to see the full summit of Mount Fuji. The tour was money well spent! Arigato Jack!!!!

The tour guide (Kousei) was great. It was a long day due to traffic but we have 2 young kids (6 & 8) and they did fine. No bathroom on the bus so just make sure you have kids go at each stop. The Hakone region was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Firstly if you don't want to sit on a coach in traffic for hours then don't do this on the weekend. Traffic jams add many extra hours to this tour.
We did get to see Mt Fuji which was a bonus.
Our guide Kousei was wonderful. He managed to organise our large group very well and get us all to where we needed to be. His knowledge of the area was fantastic.
We stopped at a lovely place to eat and as we were a large group our guide had us order and pay before we arrived. So make sure you have cash with you, otherwise there is the option of finding an atm somewhere along the route.
All of these sites are very busy with many many coach tours which makes it difficult to really absorb the experience, but this is Japan so I guess crowds are expected everywhere!

Kousei was a lovely guide! Good initiary with potential, would have done the tour in spring or autumm instead of summer due to weather and lack of visibility of Mt. Fuji. It has nothing to do with the tour or Kousei, just mother nature! :)

Great day trip! Our guide Kousei was incredible. Very informative and funny too. We even got to see Mt Fuji for a few minutes when the clouds cleared. We had a great lunch, I recommend the Waygu beef option. Very enjoyable day and a nice break from Tokyo.

Tour guide Kousei was great! Lots of wonderful information and fun. We went to many popular sites in a short period of time. Be prepared to move fast. Not a tour for lingering at sites.

Kousei was an amazing tour guide and was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the trip. He did a great job wrangling everyone together even when we had a lot of free time and were all over the place. While seeing My Fuji is quite rare this time of year he was constantly on the look out for glimpses and because of him I got an awesome photo of my Fuji! Kousei is the best!

The trip started a little disorganized trying to find our tour guide but that was partly my fault as I didn’t realize she sent me a message on WhatsApp the day before. The trip was great. The food was great. The stops were all very nice and we got to see a lot. We were lucky and had good visibility of Mount Fuji. The shrine and villages around Mount Fuji were amazing as well. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot of history of each area while en route on the bus. The day was very long but worth it. The food in the afternoon was very tasty. We got the Karaage! The boat ride and cable car were very fun as well! I would definitely recommend this trip to others.

The idea is great and the locations were good but the time crunch was just too much. I recommend doing this in 2 days if possible with your schedule. We ended up having 30-40 minutes in some places (less in others) and spent about 5-6 hours on a bus driving to the locations and to and from Toyko. Overall it just wasn’t a great experience because it was rushed.

Kousei was a great tour guide. Very friendly, kind, and made sure everything ran smoothly. I was hesitant to book because there were so many tour options and it was confusing, but I’m glad I chose this one because it provided variety in sights beyond just Mount Fuji - lake cruise on a pirate ship, swan lake, the shrine, and volcano/ hot springs with the black eggs was very intriguing. Cherry on top was us getting lucky and being able to see Mt. Fuji because it was a clear day. Our guide also arranged lunch for us, which was helpful because we were on a tight schedule. Everything was punctual and flowed well. Also, the air conditioning on the bus is super good, making it a comfortable ride back and forth from Tokyo. I highly recommend this tour!
