This was truly a memorable experience! It exceeded my expectations in every way! Hani was an amazing guide and so kind. She started communicating with me days before the tour and wanted to see what we were interested in and ensuring that we were able to meet at a good time and location. Once we started we didn’t stop! Jade Emporer Temple Central Post Office Opera House The city hall building Reunification Palace War remnants museum Another temple in china town Then there were the markets! Local book market, flower market, food market, fruit market, and the large main market. We walked and learned so much about, not only Ho Chi Minh City, but the country of Vietnam as a whole. Hani was up for making great suggestions and teaching us even more than what was at each location. This was totally custom and unique for us! I highly recommend this and if you can get Hani as a guide!

Fabulous introduction to...

Fabulous introduction to HCMC and Vietnam in general. As well as the obvious attractions we were shown the building where the evacuation of US citizens took place from the roof by helicopter, now dwarfed by an enormous glass skyscraper. Ensure enough time is left to go round the War Remnants museum. It’s truly humbling. We agreed an hour but it wasn’t really enough. I suggest at least 1.5 hours. You can always visit the market by yourself (which is what we did).

Cu Chi Tunnel Half Day Tour

We did a half day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels. Our tour guide Kai was excellent and he provided some wonderful insights, knowledge and facts about the area and the relevance of the tunnels. This was a very enjoyable tour that covered all the main points of interest, a stop at a creative outlet, and a lovely lunch. Kai and our driver were top notch and we really appreciated the pick up from our hotel. The walk/crawl through about 20 metres of tunnel was a highlight, but is not for the feint hearted. Highly recommend this tour and Kai.

The overall experience...

The overall experience was great. You get to visit Mekong Delta and ride in a motor boat in Mekong River and also go deep in tributaries in a Sampan. Lot of greenery and up & close with nature. Our tour guide David (The Handsome Dave) was amazing and he kept us engaged throughout with his jokes. Definitely recommend this excursion.

Entertainer as a guide.

Very entertaining. Lockie wanted to make sure everyone was having a great time with his singing abilities and his knowledge of Vietnam history. Also appreciated very well timed restroom breaks. Hero, the driver, was silent but very much a safe driver. As congested the traffic was, we never had any reasons to be nervous with his calm demeanor.

Fantastic Way to See the City

Fantastic Day.

This is a fantastic and fascinating day out at Chu Chu Tunnels with Danny and his team to see how the Vietnam War unfolded. From getting picked up at hotel to riverboat up the Saigon River to the Tunnels. Seeing the Tunnels that were built to fight a war is just something else. Beautiful lunch at restaurant on site before riverboat cruise and taxi back to hotel. Thanks again Danny.

We were contacted on...

We were contacted on WhatsApp prior to even getting on our flight to land in HCMC by the specific person(Nhan) picking us up who confirmed our arrival information as well as sent a picture of the sign with our names on it to look for. He guided us through immigration, helped us get our suitcases, and get to the area where Grab drivers were waiting. It was immensely helpful to get through the airport. Total time from leaving the plane to getting to our grab was about 30 minutes with the "regular" immigration line taking 1+ hour alone.
