This was an extremely disappointing experience. We basically wasted our time. We feel that this tour should have been cancelled in view of the widely known weather conditions that were affecting the entire area. The guide made an effort to make it better but she fell short in many ways. Goal not achieved. 😞

We had Kevin as our guide, and he was wonderful! He helped us find the specific meeting spot that morning, was very friendly and engaging, and gave the perfect balance of information and quiet time on the bus. We were lucky that we saw Mt Fuji the entire day. All of the stops were interesting and fun, and I really enjoyed drinking the water from Mt Fuji’s snow. Highly recommend!!

Some tourist traps, overall a good trip. But, wouldn't recommend it for everyone.

It was a good tour overall, visited a lot of places around Mt Fuji. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough time to soak up each place, and some were straight-up tourist traps. Maybe this is how group tours are? But my feedback would be to reduce the number of stops and let the people enjoy each spot for longer. The host was friendly and knowledgeable. Might be a good tour, as the first time and maybe for solo travellers? Overall, I would recommend renting a car and doing the trip on your own. Lunch was strictly okay too.

This was an amazing trip and I would highly recommend this if you’re trying to see Mount Fugi! Tim our guide was very knowledgeable and incredibly nice! He did a great job of setting clear expectations throughout the day to keep the group on time and had great extra details about each site. He finished with a bunch of recommendations for restaurants and things to do at each drop off, I give this 10 out of 10!

Unfortunately it was a very cloudy day so we not only couldn’t see Mt. Fuji but it was cold and wet so the hike was uncomfortable

Our tour guide Kevin was awesome and probably the most positive person I have met. Very helpful with meeting point map pins and photos of what to look for. Gave us good explanations and stories along the journey and also excellent Tokyo attraction list after. The tour itself was interesting villages and lake visits and the pagoda was nice. Nice street food. Buy a peach! It is a lot of bus time but trying to navigate by myself would take much more time so that's a win. Highly recommended day trip!

The itinerary is fine, we went to the main places and it was nice weather, so we could see without problem Mount Fuji. The guide was very friendly but gave us little information about the history of Mount Fuji or Kawaguchiko. He tried to sell us snacks, water, heaters, ice cream, menus in restaurants... and when we reached the destinations he barely explained 5 minutes. I think it would be more interesting if I talked about the history of the area and didn't try to sell so many products. It is fine as an excursion to see Mount Fuji, because otherwise it is not so accessible, but I found the guide improveable.
