Long day (5a-9:30p), but...
Long day (5a-9:30p), but well worth it. They make the long drives as easy as possible, with frequent enough stops. The views are gorgeous, and well worth the small hikes involved to some of the destinations. Nurzhan (our guide) was particularly great in keeping the group on time and organized throughout the day.

I recently had the...
I recently had the pleasure of spending the day with my tour guide / driver, Ayan. He is a very friendly and affable guy, and turned out to be great company on this unforgettable day-trip. Ayan gave me information about each attraction during the stops, and always offered to take pictures of me. We were able to cover the full itinerary as advertised, and even made a short stop at the Black Canyon when returning to Almaty. The landscape at Charyn Canyon was out of this world, plus I found Kaindy Lake surreal to look at with my own eyes.
The total amount of time it took was just under 12 hours (from the minute we left my hotel to the minute we got back), which I think was the perfect amount of time.
Thank you for a brilliant day, Ayan! Good luck with your studies and future.

This is the first time...
This is the first time that I travel abroad. This trip was really fun and I was happy all the time. The schedule was not too packed but still see all the attraction and had time to enjoy and explore by myself. I like the Yurt experience and the cuisine but I hope it has more meat.
Vad, our guide, he was so energetic. He managed to hype everyone up and also let us rest as well. A very good guide !
A 10/10 trip for me !!!

A Highly Recommended Tour
Mr Nursultan was my tour guide and driver, and he is exceptionally knowledgeable and professional, who, besides the tour site, provided me with insights about Kazakstan in general. We visited the petroglychs of Tanbaly and its visitor centre. It is worth the time and effort to go that far just to see these valuable yet mysterious creations. A highly recommended tour in my opinion

Karina was the best tour guide!
Karina was an amazing tour guide. She is very energetic, friendly, and easy to talk to. She made sure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the trip. She kept the group engaged, helped us take nice photos, and always reminded us of the timings so everything ran smoothly.
She also shared helpful tips on what to do in Almaty, including food, places to visit, and other tours to try with Panda Tours. Her recommendations were very useful and made our trip even better.
Karina is very organised, caring, and attentive. She always checked on us and made sure everyone was enjoying. You can really see that she loves what she does.
I would definitely join this tour again, and I hope to have Karina as our guide next time. Highly recommended.

This was by far the best...
This was by far the best tour I've been on, and it was entirely due to my guide, Alan. Astana is a fascinating city, but Alan elevated this experience even more with his incredible knowledge and genuine passion for the Kazakh people and culture. There are guides... and then there are guides of Alan's level. I have taken many tours and never had a guide like Alan.
All in all, this is a great introduction to some of Astana's incredible sights. If you have limited time in Astana, highly recommend this tour. If you can get Alan as your guide, it will be even better.

Absolutely unforgettable...
Absolutely unforgettable experience!
Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We were picked up on time at 5:00 AM, and the whole day ran smoothly.
We visited a beautiful flower field (with amazing drone videos!), the breathtaking Kolsai Lakes, and the Black Canyon. Horse riding was optional, but the team helped organize it easily.
The final stop with traditional local products (kurt, honey, butter) was a very authentic and pleasant finish to the day.
Transportation was fast and well-timed, and we had enough time at each location without feeling rushed.
The driver and guide truly did their job 100% - professional, attentive, and very well-coordinated. The guide was also engaging, informative, and spoke two languages, making everyone feel included.
Tip: bring cash with you, as in the mountains card payments are often not available.
Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Almaty!

We had an excellent experience on this 2-day tour. Everything was very well organized, and the guide, Sayazhan, was knowledgeable, highly responsible, full of energy, and very friendly. She shared fascinating insights throughout the journey, making the trip both enjoyable and informative.
Kassym was not just a driver but also a guide—safe, professional, and very informative. He made even the bumpy off-road drives feel easy and comfortable, pointed out interesting spots along the way, and shared helpful local knowledge that enhanced the experience.
On the first day, we explored the beautiful Aktau Mountains and stayed overnight in Basshi village, which offered a wonderful and authentic local experience. On the second day, we drove across the incredible Altyn-Emel National Park to visit the Singing Dunes, a truly unique and unforgettable highlight—the dunes really “sang.”
The entire journey was safe and comfortable, allowing us to relax and enjoy the stunning landscapes. Overall, it was a smooth, memorable, and highly recommended tour.

An absolute must-do - fantastic tour
This tour was incredible! The canyons and lakes are stunning, and a must-see for anyone visiting Kazakhstan. The tour itself is brilliant - perfectly timed to fit everything in, with an amazing meal in a guest house and a very fun off-road ride in a Soviet UAZ truck that I’ll never forget. Our tour guide Serzh was informative and funny, giving us lots of interesting information about the region and Kazakhstan’s history. If you are travelling to Almaty, you should absolutely do this tour. It’s a long day (5:30am pickup, usually back by 8-10pm depending on the size of the group), but it is absolutely worth the early start. Thank you Serzh!

Great Day at the Lake
Lovely day. Big Almaty Lake is gorgeous. Turquoise water, blue sky, snow-capped peaks made for amazing views and photos. Yerkin was a wonderful guide and so helpful providing information and helping my wife who has mobility problems. He picked us up at our hotel and dropped everyone off anywhere in town he/she chose. Small group of enthusiastic travelers added to the experience. If you have health problems I would recommend the car option.
