Top Japan Day Trips

We had Ro as our tour guide. He was extremely polite and cognizant of our friend who had a mobility issue. We were last to be picked up on his van and he asked the rest of the group to rotate seats on our next stop as the remaining front seat (which our friend had to use) was quite high to climb into. He was friendly and knowledgeable of the sights on each of our stops. He helped take our pictures at Honcho Street for the group. He helped exchange our American dollars to Japanese yen for our group where we had lunch since the town didn't accept credit cards. He allowed ample time for lunch and bathroom breaks during the tour. We especially enjoyed the stop at the lake where we saw swans and fish which gathered to the shore where people fed them. The interaction with nature was very pleasant. Our last stop Lake Kawaguchiko was restful as we enjoyed the scenery. Our tour guide Ro was also a very skilled driver. He navigated tight turns on narrow roads on our trip. On our way back to Tokyo, he had to deal with a traffic jam for at least half an hour changing lanes to try to get us in the best position. He was patient, yet decisive in making traffic choices during that traffic jam. He tried to get us back as quickly as possible despite the traffic delay. All in all, Ro was professional and an excellent guide

It was a very good experience though, with alot to fit in, it felt a little rushed at times. The guide. Carey, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and her information greatly enhanced the experienced. I was disappointed that the boat trip part of the day was cancelled though others on the coach still had the boat trip. I suppose it was first come first served? The scenery on the way was very good.

Had a great experience on the Mt. Fuji bus tour with Leonard! He was very informative, well organized, and provided fast, detailed communication via WhatsApp before and during the tour, including the Google links for pickup locations for each stop and photos. He shared his favorite spots of where the best pictures could be taken and was a great photographer organizing each group to get their photos taken. The time spent at each spot never made us feel rushed which was great. Leonard also shared helpful tips on shopping and pointed out bathroom locations at each spot. Highly recommend Leonard for a smooth and enjoyable tour! Shout out also to Emma for reaching out less than 10 minutes after we booked to also communicate with us.
