Thanks Bonnie for being a great guide
A full day excursion from Bangkok, visiting the floating markets and train markets. The air conditioned coach was super comfy and Bonnie our guide ensured we all returned to Bangkok safe and sound. There was also plenty of time to wander at our own pace. An added bonus that I hadn’t expected was the bird life visible on the train trip through the countryside. An important tip - Keep an eye open for an email letting you know the time of pick-up from your hotel - although the start time was 8:30am, the pickup from my hotel was 8:10 which I missed as I didn’t realise they would be emailing a different time. The team were great though and able to get me on a tour departing later in the morning.

A great trip, thanks to Sasa!
A great way to get a flavour of busy bustling Bangkok at night. Friendly Tuk Tuk drivers and a great guide - Sasa. She was full of great and interesting information, even had ponchos for us when we had a rain shower. Good quality meal in the Thipsamai restaurant too. A memorable trip.

A great way to see the ‘ Klongs’ - or canals of Bangkok and the Big Buddha.
A taxi took us to the Elefin cafe, the meeting point for the trip. We were delighted our guide was the inimitable Ken. He was in charge of two boats and always made sure everyone was informed and safe. The canals were a joy to see and the Big Buddha was making when seen from the long tail boat at water level. Thanks again Ken - ‘Lang may yer lum reek’ as we say in Scotland!

Idyllic beaches, floating food markets, ancient temples, and pagodas—the choice is yours amid thousands of Thailand tours. Ride a tuk-tuk through Bangkok’s night markets to taste pad Thai and papaya salad, or learn how to make a proper curry paste at a local’s house in Chiang Mai. Thailand’s many islands offer fantastic snorkeling amid coral reefs and sea caves, while its national parks boast waterfalls and wildlife, including elephants. Turn back time on a tour of UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the centuries-old temples and Buddha statues of the fallen Ayutthaya Kingdom.
