Visit five different places, ranging from a backstreet stall to a standing bar. Dine at places you probably wouldn’t find independently, and try foods that many travelers overlook.

Our guide, Kevin was energetic and entertaining. He knew the area and the locals well and took us to 5 different spots where the locals eat. The food was super Oishii and it was fun to have an experience eating at spots I wouldnt have been brave enough to stop at myself..

Our tour guide Kevin felt more like a local host introducing us to his friends than a tour guide being paid to feed us. It was a delicious and welcoming experience. Not too much walking, easy to find meeting spot, fabulous food, and lively conversation. A wonderful way to spend an evening in Osaka.

Fantastic Osaka food tour. Great amount of food and drink. We ate and drank things we would never have had the knowledge to have ordered comfortably ourselves. Our guide, Nick Yeah, was super personable and knowledgeable. He was enthusiastic, friendly and answered all of our questions in a patient and interactive way. He was a fantastic guide. We even played a few games of Smart Ball (look it up). The food was so good and portions great! Our group size was only 6 people (max 9 I think). I would recommend in a heartbeat to do for any first timers to Osaka, the Kitchen of Japan. Okini!!

This tour was amazing. Great food stall choices...each location really specialized in what they offered to us, and their care for what they served showed. We spent the next 2 days in Osaka trying to replicate the quality of what we got on tour and was unable to. The knowledge of our guide Brian was superb, and his humor and witty comments made it that much more fun. If we could have done the whole tour a 2nd time we would have. And to Cecilia (who organized our arrival), thank you for the attention you gave us to make sure we had an easy time connecting with Brian. Many tours we have taken before fall short in the communication before the tour, and we appreciate your kind assistance to ensure we found Brian and the meeting point easily! Nick was a wonderful tour guide around Shinsekai! He was friendly and offered an amazing perspective on Japan and Japanese culture. The history lessons about the neighborhood and food were super educational and the food was amazing!! The eateries we stopped at were ones we never would have found as tourists who don't speak Japanese so I'm so glad we were able to try them with this tour. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be trying to find places back home to eat the kind of food we tried!

Our family, including 2 teens, loved the food tour with Kevin, who had great energy, and was super fun. We enjoyed all the food choices (plenty of food!) and we were able to see many interesting spots in Osaka which we would not otherwise have seen as we were just passing through.

We had an incredible experience on this food tour with Taka. It exceeded our expectations! This food tour was one of our top Japan experiences during our two week trip. Taka was so much fun for our family of four that included two teens. He was engaging and informative. We learned a lot about food, culture, and Osaka. There was SO MUCH food! We tried such a variety of items and we would not have tried several of them without Taka leading us. NO REGRETS about booking this tour. It was worth every penny.

Awesome food tour with Kiko, such a friendly and knowledgeable chap. Kiko gave background information on the restaurant, the food, it's origins and ingredients, and you know you are getting the authentic stuff, because the locals are there!!! The food was absolutely amazing, and we were very fortunate that the other group was a similar age and sized group from Greece, which made it a great time. The description is 15 dishes but it definitely felt like more!! Top tip, don't eat before you come on this tour!! We would definitely recommend this tour.

Our tour guide James was amazing. He took us to several different places and introduced us to many new food, which were all very yummy . He explained all the dishes we were trying, was very funny, and overall provided us with an amazing cultural experience. We truly enjoyed our tour with Paul. He took great care of us and he shared interesting stories about Osaka culture. We sampled food in small izakayas which we would not have experienced on our own and we tasted a variety of foods. This was one of my favorite things that I did in Osaka! The tour guide was awesome, very patient, and answered all the questions from the group. He explained each stop and took us to places I would have accidentally walked past if I were on my own. I actually ran into the tour guide later in my trip by chance, and he gave me advice on where to find a small museum in the area I was in, which was very kind of him. I highly recommend this tour!

Sarah was our guide and she was absolutely fantastic. So enthusiastic and took the time to explain so many different Japanese cultural things and foods.
