Sara was a great guide. Very helpful and even offered her number to help us around for the rest of our trip to Osaka. We recommend Sara.

Amazing tour! The food was delicious and our tour guide Shawn (I’m so sorry I’ve forgotten your Japanese name! Gomen!) was fantastic. He was so friendly and very fun to spend the evening with. All of the food stops were great - if you’re unfamiliar with Japanese cuisine, this tour is a fantastic introduction. Highly recommended!!

Incredible food tour. Adventurous options but also accessible for the pickier eaters. Tour guide Suga was funny, helpful, and generous.

Best tour of our entire Japan trip! Kevin is an entertainer and he really gets to know his guests as much as he knows these locals and their dishes! He sorted everything out and kept us laughing and learning the entire time. I highly recommend this tour to dive into the downtown area. My wife and I will be talking about this experience for years to come! SAIKOU NE!! Kevin is the BEST!!

This was one of our favorite experiences for our honeymoon. Our tour guide was Dom, and he was more than generous with his time and knowledge. Definitely recommend this as a tour to build into your trip for Osaka.

Kiko was friendly and spoke great English. The tour included plenty of food and drinks, and it was nice to explore a new neighborhood.

It was a little confusing at first since there were so many people signed up and each guide came one at a time to claim a small group. Marcel, our guide was great. The food was good and I don’t think anyone left hungry. Definitely a worthwhile tour.

This tour was fantastic. Our tour guide was fun and took us to places that we would not have discovered on our own. Each dish was wonderful and gave us a great overview of Osaka food. Highly recommend!

We had a great time on this food tour. Suga, our guide, really made this an awesome experience. He was super friendly and gave us a lot of information about Osaka and Japan all together. The food was great and we loved going to so many different stops.

We are a group of 8. Yuichi was our foodie guide. He was loads of laughter and we all enjoyed this food tour. Our experience was fun, filling, and educational. Yuichi was very knowledgeable about the food and gave us a little history in the Japanese culture, like when to call someone sis or auntie. He was also cautious and considerate to get substitute dishes for our egg allergy member.

Such a great time and one of the highlights of our time in Osaka. Kiko was our guide - super friendly and was fantastic showing us around. Only negative was we didn’t get to partake in the last restaurant because it had smokers inside; so we weren’t able to try the food. Wish smoking restaurants had been excluded from the tour.

Great fun and a fantastic way to experience Osaka! Our guide, Mario, was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and generous with his time. He shared so much insight about the local area and Japan in general, which really added depth to the experience.
The food was amazing, I am especially obsessed with takoyaki now! One of the highlights was visiting a cozy little whisky bar run by a lovely Japanese couple who made us feel so welcome.
We also got to try some drinks we normally would not have chosen ourselves, as Mario guided us. The whole experience was fun, relaxed and personal.
Everything was seamlessly organised, and every stop felt special. We also had a really lovely group of people, which made the night even more enjoyable. It was so much better than trying to navigate it all on your own.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Osaka, it was an unforgettable night!

Our guide Nick was AWESOME!! Really knows the history and culture of Osaka. Has been in Japan for years and is able to communicate perfectly in both Japanese and English. Made the tour enjoyable for us and our 3 children. DEFINITELY recommended tour and if you're SUPER lucky, Nick can be your guide! He's AWESOME!

Be prepared for a fun time with some walking in narrow busy streets
There is a great deal of options if you are not a meat eater or dont eat beef - which is really excellent

My husband and I have done many walking food tours in cities throughout Europe. This was our first one in Japan. The Osaka neighborhood we went to was lively, fun and very foodie. Paul was our Guide. He was originally from Boston and is now married to a woman from Osaka and originally came here to teach English. He was an excellent Tour Guide. He knew the food, he knew the neighborhood and history. He was also a very personable, easy to talk to and welcoming to the city. The 5 restaurants were all excellent. The food was all very good… Lots of variety, accommodations were made for people with some food difficulties. The drinks were great and the fellow people on the tour were all interesting and fun to be with. The tour had a lot of food. Be sure to be hungry. You may not get this restaurant if you take the tour, but one of the dishes was a pork belly and bean sprout dish… That was to die for. . We really enjoyed this. Go and have fun.

This was a great way for us to start out our trip in Osaka. We went to 6 local spots and tried many dishes at each that we probably wouldn’t have ordered if we were on our own. Paul and Yuki were so friendly and helpful, they even gave us recommendations for after our tour that were also outstanding. Would definitely recommend to start out with this tour for first time visitors to Osaka.

Great explanation about the food and drink. I was expecting at the end a dessert plate just to get familiar with Japan cuisine and desserts menu . Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Delaney_C, Mar 2026
Our tour guide Mark was amazing, and we sampled so many great foods from Osaka/Japan! This was the best tour I did in Japan, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try a wide variety of foods!

This food tour was a great experience! Marie was a super knowledgeable guide who you can tell has a passion for Osaka! We went to places we wouldn’t normally go into which made the experience that much better. I loved trying the foods locals love. Plus we got to speak and get to know other tourists which is fun too! Would recommend this tour!!

I truly can’t believe how much food we ate on this food tour. We went to 5 restaurants and ate over 15 dishes. We also were able to get three alcoholic drinks for no additional charge. Even though it was raining, Yuki made sure we had a terrific time. We got to try all Osaka’s specialties. Truly recommend!
