Awesome Blue Cave tour. Not to be missed!
This is a must see experience in Okinawa. The tour was amazing and the water was so clear! It was really fun to go snorkeling and see all the fish and coral and the Blue Cave is really beautiful. They have it all set up so that we have enough time to take a lot of photos inside the cave. They also gave us food to feed the fishes so it was fun to get photos with fish surrounding us. The only thing is that I love to snorkel and we didn't get as much time snorkeling as I would have liked. Maybe if we could have waited a little bit until the crowds died down in the cave, we could have snorkeled more outside the cave. But all in all, it was very organized, our guide was great and I really enjoyed the experience.

Great visit of Naha : Full of History
We booked the Port Pick-Up: Naha Private Tour Licensed Guide& Vehicle during our cruise stop in Naha. Wanting a personalized, hassle-free experience instead of a crowded bus tour, this private setup with a national government-licensed guide, dedicated vehicle, and seamless port pickup/drop-off right at the cruise terminal and everything handled smoothly. Our guide (Hide) was incredibly knowledgeable, spoke fluent English, super friendly, patient, and deeply passionate about Okinawan history and culture. He customized our full 6-hour itinerary based on our interests (Ryukyu Kingdom history, WWII insights, scenic views, and a bit of shopping), sharing fascinating stories and using photos/slides in his booklet to provide extra context and bring everything to life. We saw the majestic Shurijo Castle (its almost ready rebuilt beauty and powerful Ryukyu history were such a highlight!), delved into the sobering yet essential Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters (walking the tunnels and learning about the Battle of Okinawa was moving and eye-opening), visited the poignant Peace Memorial Park and Himeyuri Peace Museum (profound tributes to the war's human cost), discovered a couple of hidden gems along the way, and wrapped up exploring the vibrant Kokusai Dori street. Thanks Hide.

Unforgettable private adventure on Ishigaki – Makoto is amazing!
We booked the "Ishigaki Island Private Tour by English Native Speaker", and it was hands-down the highlight of our Okinawa trip. With limited time on the island (cruise stop), we wanted a flexible, no-stress way to see the best spots without driving ourselves or joining a big group—this private tour nailed it perfectly. Our guide (shoutout to Makoto) was incredible: fluent English speaker with deep local knowledge (She is Japonese a big plus ! ), super friendly, patient, and great at photography. She customized the itinerary based on our interests—stunning scenery, nature, culture, and epic photo ops—and even took professional-level pictures of us throughout the day. The private vehicle was comfortable, air-conditioned, and made hopping between spots effortless. We have seen many places, from breathtaking turquoise waters and black pearls of Kabira Bay (such a postcard-perfect spot), headed to the dramatic cliffs and panoramic ocean vistas at Oganzaki Lighthouse, explored the traditional thatched-roof houses and cultural exhibits at Ishigaki Yaima Village (learned so much about Yaeyama life and seen squirel monkeys), a beautiful garden (ishigaki jima Science garden) and squeezed in time at scenic viewpoints and hidden gems like craft centers ( ishigaki yaki potery), quiet beaches and also ishigaki city for a special souvenir request (Manga books). Everything was well-paced, relaxed, and full of insider stories. The tour felt like exploring with knowledgeable friends—fun, informative, and zero hassle with pickup/drop-off from our port. We saw way more beauty than we expected in just a day, and the photos came out stunning thanks to their tips. If you're visiting Ishigaki and want a personalized, high-quality private experience with excellent English guidance, this tour is an absolute must. Huge thanks to Makoto—you made our Ishigaki memories unforgettable!

100% worth it, would do again
This is a must do!! Toshi was amazingly calm and had great patience with us as forst timers. We felt safe and in control the whole time which meant we could just focus on enjoying the amazing undersea world around us. Truly greatful for the great equipment they had and the time taken to instruct us. It was all very easy once in the water. The meal afterwards was amazing and so was the view. Will be doing this again in our home country for sure! But hope to be back one day to do again. We got lucky and had a private session with him loved it all.

Okinawa, a captivating Japanese archipelago, boasts more than 160 islands with stunning cerulean waters, pristine beaches, and lush landscapes. On Okinawa tours, local guides showcase the region’s highlight—the “blue cave”—where the crystal-clear waters shine under the right conditions. This is a popular destination, so if you want to avoid the crowds, snorkeling, diving, and kayaking excursions are plentiful throughout the area. Beyond coastal adventures, try a street go-kart excursion (costumes encouraged!). Or, for a more comprehensive sightseeing itinerary, explore 20 must-see spots, from the impressive Shurijo Castle to the picturesque Hiji Waterfall and Nakagusuku Castle.
