Great experience!

We did our tour with Lucy, who was knowledgeable, organized, and managed the timing of the day very well. We started at Tiananmen Square. The security wait wasn't too bad, largely because we followed Lucy's advice and didn't bring bags, as bag checks can take a long time. After exploring the square, we headed to the Forbidden City, which is directly connected to Tiananmen Square. The Forbidden City was absolutely massive, and with Lucy's guidance, we were able to see the main highlights and important buildings efficiently. The crowds were huge since we visited on a Tuesday, and many attractions are closed on Mondays, so the larger turnout was expected. Since we also had the Great Wall scheduled afterward and it was about a 1.5-hour drive away, we moved through the palace at a fairly brisk pace. After the Forbidden City, we stopped for a simple buffet lunch near the Great Wall before heading to the wall itself. We opted for the chairlift up and the toboggan ride down, which was an absolute blast. The Great Wall is no joke—it involves a lot of climbing—but it was a surreal experience standing on such an iconic piece of history. Afterward, we had the option to participate in a tea tasting. However, some members of our group needed to return to the city, so our bus headed back and dropped everyone off. Overall, the tour was excellent, and I would highly recommend it. Lucy was a fantastic guide who made the experience informative, enjoyable, and well organized.

Amazing Tour

We had an amazing experience visiting the Great Wall and seeing the pandas! Ranee was a fantastic guide. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of interesting historical information that made the tour even more memorable. She was also incredibly accommodating of my food allergy, which I greatly appreciated. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and thanks to Ranee, it exceeded our expectations. Hassle free Great Wall experience

The private tour was awesome!!! Pick up at our hotel was so convenient and our guide Linda Shi was very helpful and knowledgeable. She called ahead so our driver was able to drive straight to the cable car area skipping long lines. She and the driver did a wonderful job and steered us to a fabulous tea ceremony and non tourist local place for lunch after the Great Wall. At first I hesitated paying for a private tour/driver instead of just going by bus but it was worth it! Would highly recommend!

Best place to see the Great Wall, and the Gubei water town was a special treat!

We had such a great experience! Our tour guide Allen was fantastic! He was so knowledgeable about so many things about China and the wall. Both parts of the wall were very special and visiting the Gubei water town was also amazing at night. It’s worth the longer drive to see these two parts of wall. It was not not crowded at all. In parts of it we were the only one in that section! The dinner was also so tasty! My thanks to Allen and the driver so such a special private tour!

Tienneman Square was amazing!

Great experience

Maggie was a fantastic tour guide! She was incredibly nice and shared a lot of information about the history of the Great Wall, Beijing, and China throughout the day. I highly recommend getting there as early as possible to beat the crowds and to enjoy the views in peace. Taking the toboggan down was so much fun. After the Wall, we were taken to a tea ceremony, which was a good cultural experience, though it is worth noting that the shop staff can be very persistent with their sales pitches after the ceremony.

Awesome Visit to the Summer Palace and Great Wall of China

We took the two days tour with Lisa. Our guide Lisa was extremely professional La and knowledgeable. She explained all about the history of the sites we located. She was also very attentive to our needs and safety. The car that took us every where was very comfortable. The driver was very on time and we did not have to wait. We got to try the Beijing duck which was amazing. At the great wall of China we also got to try the local grilled rainbow trout which was delicious too!

Fantastic Tour

My tour with Helen was fantastic, as a solo, female travellers tours can feel a little daunting at times, but she went above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable. She was very well organised and messaged me the day before explaining the instructions for the day. The transports was clean and spacious and make the drive comfortable. Helen did a great job at explaining the history of the country and made it engaging throughout. She gave us a good amount of time to explore the sites on our own as well as a group. I would highly recommend this tour. She was a fantastic guide.

Fantastic Tour with Excellent Guides & Driver

David was an amazing tour guide and person while touring the city sites of Beijing. He led us to the different areas providing us the background. He also took us shopping to a mall before taking us to see the wonderful acrobatic show (a must). He ensured the driver was waiting for us outside the theater to take us to our hotel. We accidentally left a piece of carry-on on the plane and had to deal with various areas at the airport (eventually lost & found). David contacted the Beijing Airport Lost and Found Department and helped locate our baggage and had it shipped to our hotel. He continually monitored the situation to ensure we received it. Unbelievable service and caring! Keith was a great guide showing us the Great Wall, Summer Palace and stadium. He provided us with a concise explanation of the various sites as he led us through them. We had excellent Chinese lunches both days. A great tour led by wonderful guides gave us a memorable experience. You cannot go wrong with this tour.

Great evening

Wonderful introduction to some of the super tasty foods specific to Beijing! We really enjoyed our time with Joe our guide, who told us a lot about the food we were eating and some history of the city as well. Walking through the small streets in the area of Shichahai was an added bonus to a night of great food.

True Wonders of the World

‘Rocky’ was our guide and we could not have had a more knowledgeable, polite, and supportive person. This was the best excursion of our entire China experience that we had several in different cities. The Forbidden City and Great Wall are true Wonders of the World and all the history and info he provided made them even more ‘true to life’ and amazing as we actually viewed and experienced them. We could only see Tiananmen Square and not enter it because it was closed for dignitaries that were visiting. This was Ok as we could better see the buildings and immense ground area it covered. As far as the Forbidden City and Great Wall goes, Rocky was very well organized, kept the participants in the group, and was very patient while answering questions and waiting on some of the slower ones. The Great Wall is simply almost indescribable. One must actually see its immense size and the type terrain it is built on to begin to appreciate it and the effort it took to build. Nothing else on earth comes close to its immense size and length. The tour itself was great in all aspects. The lunch provided a good variety of tasty food. I should note that my husband experienced a pinched nerve in his back while in the Forbidden City and he could not have made it through without Rocky and others physically helping at times. He was so kind and understanding and I can not express how much we appreciated his effort and concern.
