Just a 1-minute walk from Shimbashi Station (H04/E21), West Exit 7. We are located right in front of Shimbashi SL Square. Enter the building called Grand Hammer (グランハマー) and take the elevator up to the 6th floor to Benitsuya (紅艶). You can find a reception counter.

The Geisha show with dining was an incredible experience! The women were so fun, kind, and accommodating, which made the evening feel very welcoming. The food was delicious and paired perfectly with the atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the interactive games—they added a lighthearted and memorable touch. The traditional dances were lovely. This was definitely underwhelming and not what was expected from reviews on here. Our group was 5 people and one other woman was there. The two geishas just made small talk, and then did a few dances and games. Our group left wondering what exactly the point of the show was.

It was a nice experience. We ordered the appetizers which were filling. The games were fun. We were a group of 7 and 5 of us played the games and we had a lot of laughs. The Geisha's took some time to warm up to the women in the group but they did as we all got involved with the games. Had a fun time!

Such a fun and unique experience! My husband and I opted for the appetizer choice in dinner and it was exactly that. Included a few pieces of of steak among other small bites (no sushi or dessert) the food was all delicious, and the sake was great! Staff was attentive. The geishas were lovely and made the experience so fun and personable! Communication was not an issue, we even played a fun drinking game!

A dining experience with geisha dancing and reql geishas . They talk to us after the show and to each of the guests and are very genuine and sweet.

Going to the show/dinner was a great experience for someone who is new to Japan. I enjoyed myself and love the games we played and the traditional dance we watched was beautiful! I love that the women are very social with you and you can ask them anything. I truly do appreciate the women who was with us tonight because they made it a wonderful experience!

If you have any issues and need to change your arrangements, you're screwed! The operator never responded to our request to reschedule 24 hrs before our intended show and we lost over $260.

We had an interesting and fun evening. We booked the last sitting and there were only 2 couples. With 2 geisha, each couple had a more intimate experience. Our geisha was a good conversationalist (despite the language barrier), well-informed, and interesting to talk to. We enjoyed her company very much. The dancing was graceful (if too short); I would have liked more of a ‘show’ and perhaps playing of music. The game was really fun and made us all laugh. I felt like we had an authentic ‘taste’ of this traditional Japanese entertainment. For this reason I would recommend the evening, but try to book a time when there are likely to be fewer participants. Having our ‘own’ geisha made all the difference. The food, however, is another story. I had low expectation of a bento box ‘dinner’; even so, I was disappointed in the quality of the food. It had obviously been prepared much earlier and was very dried out and cold; the predominant taste was salty. Not appetising at all. Eat something before you go.

Not worth the money. Not a real geisha show and food just okay. I feel ripped off. It is a very poor tour and worst tour I have had with Viator.

This experience felt incredibly special, we were lucky enough that my Mum and I were the only guests, which turned an already beautiful evening into something truly unforgettable. It felt private, personal, and deeply respectful of the art and tradition being shared with us.
The geisha performance was elegant, graceful, and mesmerising. Being able to watch the dances up close, learn about the traditions, and take part in the geisha games made the whole experience feel immersive rather than staged. It was a rare glimpse into a world most visitors never get to see.
The kaiseki meal was beautifully presented and thoughtfully paced, perfectly complementing the evening. Every detail felt considered, from the setting to the hospitality, and we never once felt rushed.
If you’re looking for an authentic, refined, and deeply memorable cultural experience in Tokyo, this is absolutely worth it. Sharing it with my mum made it even more special, a once-in-a-lifetime memory we’ll treasure forever.

This experience was the worst extremely frustrating. We were only 2 party’s with 2 Geishas. They start by talking to us about nothing true a translator very strange questions. The food came and it was not what we ordered. They finally give us an other option 2 sushi’s, 2 small bits of fish plus a 1 very small pc of white fish and a ball of beans.and 1 sake. This was the size of a appetizer not a full course meal.No desserts no tea.
Then the Geisha performed 3 songs for a total of 10 minutes. They came close to us during our meal to chat but this was a uncomfortable situation. Then they ask us to play a child game for a total 3 minutes each guess. Then goodbye. Incredible it felt like a kids play not a professional performance that charges $550.00 for 2 people’s.
Viator should not offer this trip ever again this is stealing our money.

The geisha ladies were amazing, so talented and friendly and interesting. However the food was so basic, to call this dinner "fine dining" is laughable. I couldn't believe when it ended that was it and no other food was served. The price of this isn't even marginally justified for the food experience it's meant to be.

Hi,
There were only 3 listeners for geisha’s show: 2 aged gentlemen and I (aged lady from the US). Neither one of us knew Japanese. Both geishas, in turn, did not know English and use translater device for communication. I came with desire to know more about geisha’s history and culture. I did not get anything of this. Geishas performed 3 dances (approximately 10-12 minutes), and then, waited until we complete eating. It looked like they did not know what to do with us. When we completed our meals, geishas showed a couple primitive games and answered simple questions we asked. We made a few pictures with them. I asked younger geisha whether she is a professional dancer, and she responded she was still studying from the other more aged geisha.
What a boring show and wasted time and money! I gave 2 stars (not only 1) because they gave me additional glass of Cola, seeing I was very thirsty.

Great opportunity to enjoy the company of trained professional geishas with a window into japanese culture. Really enjoyed the precisión and delicate artistry of their dancing. Games were fun too. Conversation was enjoyable including hearing one ladys Journey to become a geisha. Must do in Japan!

The building was easy to find, getting to the correct floor was a bit of an issue. The escalator stopped working after 3 floors and the shops wouldn’t let us use the elevator.
The geisha were amazing. They performed several dances and played traditional games with us. For the price (~$190 per person) it felt a bit underwhelming on the production value. The performers were great though. They really interacted with everyone and made it a great time.

My wife and I were the only ones there at that time slot. The Geshia were very nice and gave us a good performance and perspective of the custom. The games they taught us were pretty neat. However the food which was good was not worth the money.

I didn’t realise there were 2 types of dinner????
We got a different dinner than the rest of the group .. .. and when we asked about it they said that’s what we ordered 🤷♀️
Geisha girls very good. An opportunity to see Japanese dance and hear music but very pricey. Also only lasted an hour and a half and not 2. A bit disappointing.

I arrived at the tour late because it was my first evening in Tokyo and my flight had landed a bit later. I had such an amazing time though. The geishas were very attentive to myself and another couple that was there. Their dancing was beautiful and there friendliness was amazing. We ate, drank, played games briefly and took pictures. What an amazing tour!

It’s a pricey, but worthwhile expensive. The geishas are authentic. We happened to have quite a small group (only 9 people including us), so the 2 geishas were able to spend a reasonable amount of time conversing with everyone. They have translation devices so any language is possible to communicate with. The setting was classy. The geishas were classy and friendly at the same time. The food was delicious & interesting (if you pay for a meal and not just the snack). We decided on the 7-course meal and it was plenty for us to feel very full, but some men with large appetites might find it limited. The dances were real traditional dances, and so were the games. All were very enjoyable. There’s also a brief photo op afterwards.

The show we attended was not crowded at all, so that gave us more time to talk with the performers they are very talented and kind. The show is not long and includes a few dances, demonstration of a fan (we got to participate) and some delicious food.
Centrally located and (relatively) easy to find, I would recommend this not as a full evening activity but rather a great side trip.
