Another great Viator tour. Don't go to the Acropolis without it.

The whole reservation-check-in-tour experience was flawless. Easy to find the location of where to meet the group, instructions and reminders were sent frequently. Each attendee is given an individual headset so you can easily hear the tour guide and not have to jockey to be close by to hear. I could walk a little away from the group and still hear her speaking. The historical review went on a bit long, but was still very interesting. I had done quite a bit of research myself so I was familiar with a lot of the information - but for those that did not - it must have be very helpful. I would just cut the first stop by at least 5 minutes, it felt like we were standing for a long time. We had enough time to see each monument and the tour guide had great enthusiasm and answer all questions clearly. We added the museum tour which was fantastic. It is helpful to have pieces highlighted with the overall historical and art references. This tour felt like a base for our other museum tours. The time spent in the museum was perfect. I highly recommend Viator tours. We have not yet had one experience that was bad.

See Greece with Zeus!

Can you think of a better Grecian tour guide than Zeus himself? I can’t. Our guide, Zeus, was phenomenal. He knew so much about the history of Santorini and Greece in general and was enthused to share it with us. He answered all of our questions about what it’s like to live life as a local. Not only did he provide us with a great education on all things Santorini, he took some great photographs as well! Thanks so much for a wonderful four hours.

Great Athens food tour

We were fortunate to have Giannis as our very personable and knowledgeable tour leader- he was highly attentive to our group of 8 and provided detailed explanations of the food and drink we were experiencing as well as giving insight as to living and working in Athens. There was so much delicious food on this tour; Giannis was able to arrange “take away” packages for us on the final stop for gyros because we had so much to eat at the earlier stops.

Everything we expected in the day!

After a shaky start because of rain in the morning, we were skeptical that this would take place and be enjoyable. We were so wrong! The weather cleared off, we swam, we ate, we took in the beautiful scenery and had an absolutely wonderful day. The captain and crew took exceptionally good care of us and fed us so well! The Driver was clever and knowledgeable about the scenery and fill us in on a few private spots that were not on other tours. A great day all around!

Easy to moderate pace to Acropolis!

Visiting from the US and chose this tour for our family. I am always concerned when booking and paying ahead of the tour, but we were very happy with the tour of the Acropolis and museum. Our tour guide, Frozzo (but you can call her Frozen 🤣), was knowledgeable and delivered the information perfectly. We ascended the site at and easy to moderate pace. My brother in law, who is at a slower pace, was able to ascend with little problems. The crowd of people gave him time to stop and recover a little before moving forward. While viewing the amazing site, she told us the history and the importance of what we were touring. She was able to get us all past the unusually long line of people and into the museum. The museum is absolutely fascinating and she added information that was easy to understand and appreciate. You won’t be disappointed in this tour. Wear durable and comfortable walking shoes or athletic shoes. Check the weather for how to dress. Our day was overcast, cool and windy, which I willl take over hot and sunny!

Gus was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information and history of Athens. Since we were on a private tour he gave us options as well. Very scenic and enjoyable trip!

This was a long and enjoyable trip. It’s about a 4-4.5 hr drive to Meteora with a couple of stops in between. It’s well worth the journey, the views in Meteora and the monasteries are incredible. The drive itself is scenic and helps make the journey easier. The guide and driver did a great job as well. Apart from the initial boarding process (more on that below), the rest of the trip was well organized. An area to improve is the morning initial bus boarding process. It’s a bit of a mess, there are 4-5 buses and easily over a 100 people trying to ask each driver if they belong in their bus. I suggest giving people the color or license plate of their bus the night before so you know what you are looking for. Overall, I recommend this tour if you are looking for scenic Mountain View’s that are unforgettable!

Great excursion with...

Great excursion with great food! The island of Aegina was beautiful. The lunch they served exceeded our expectations. Beer and wine flowed freely. We had the option to swim before lunch and to swim on the island of Agistri. It was a windy day but we had a great time!
