For 5-8 travellers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Minivan.For 9-20 passengers the tour will be provided with a Mercedes Benz Sprinter. a) We can pick up customers from wherever they want inside in the region of Athens,Airbnb,Hotels,Metro stations,Bus stations, etc.....We just need a short communication after your booking to agree on a pickup point. b) The pick up point can also be from the Cruise Terminal or the Ath Int Airport. Please provide us, as soon as possible, the details like the name of the ship/airline , arrival time and flight number. Itinerary
Your driver-guide collects you from the cruise terminal, the airport, or any Athens address at the time of your choice. Enjoy their commentary between stops, and choose whether to purchase tickets at each attraction to explore independently.
Your first stop is the less-visited Monastery of Daphni, recognized with UNESCO World Heritage status for its beautiful mosaics.
Next, travel into the center of the city to view an impressive range of classical and neoclassical sites, with an included lunch along the way. Immerse in the ancient world at the Ancient Agora, the Roman Agora, the Acropolis, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and the National Archaeological Museum.
See the Hellenic Parliament, the beautiful Academy of Athens, and the Panathenaic Stadium, which hosted the first modern Olympics. Then soak up the atmosphere on Syntagma Square.
Finish with drop-off at your departure point.

Sebastian was absolutely fabulous! We saw everything we had hoped to see , and so much more period sebastian was on time courteous and so helpful with loads of history and information about athens and the sites that we saw. We have been to athens many times and participated in many tours. Sebastian is by far our favorite to wear guide. He was more than happy to customize every aspect of our time together!

This experience worked great for us to see so much of Athens in a short period of time. Stam was a great tour guide. He was knowledgeable and friendly and took great care of us. The included lunch of traditional Greek food was delicious and a perfect ending to our tour.

Ros our driver was personable, knowledgeable and respectful of our wants. He was happy to explain history of the areas we explored. We asked to minimize some steps after we had maxed out our knees and he was happy to oblige and gave us directions that still allowed us to see the sites! Added the extension to see Poseidons temple which was awesome!

RAF was our tour guide. He got us to all the must see sites in Athens. Food on the tour was outstanding! Authentic Greek lunch with the nicest staff. Pick up/drop off right at cruise port so this is a great tour for cruise guests.

Pat was a wonderful guide for the day. He was friendly and knowledgeable, but what made the trip even more enjoyable was the care he gave to helping my mother, who has mobility issues. We were traveling with her rolling walker. Pat made sure we had it when we needed, were able to access the ramps and elevators at the Acropolis and other sites we visited, and that she was always supported. That level of care was so appreciated and allowed me to enjoy my time in Athens and Sunio knowing she was also in good hands. 10/10 would recommend him as a local guide to others

We booked this tour for eight people with a lot of luggage, which I had communicated when I booked the tour. Viator asked me about the luggage, and I let them know how many pieces we had. They only communicated the amount we would need to pay for a second vehicle less than two days before the tour, and I didn't have internet to respond, due to being on a cruise. Because I hadn't responded, they only sent one vehicle. When we arrived, the driver tried to squeeze all of our luggage into one van, and it would not fit. It took about an hour for everyone to realize that there was no way it would all fit into that vehicle. So then a second car was called to help transport the luggage and three of the people to their location at the end of the tour. The van seated nine people, so we were squeezed in very tightly, three of us (including the driver) in the front seat.
They had also asked me how many tickets to the Acropolis we wanted. I told them we wanted five. In the same email less than two days before the tour, they asked about the number of minors in the group. as those tickets are free. Again, I wasn't able to respond due to not having internet access on a cruise. So they did not have any tickets to the Acropolis ready for us. Thankfully, they were able to get some so that the five people who wanted a tour of it could get in that day.
The tour itself was great! Our driver was very knowledgeable about Athens, and he was very engaging in telling us the information and history of the area. Additionally, when part of the group toured the Acropolis, he took the remaining three to a lovely hill where we had a beautiful view of the city and the Acropolis! He also helped me find a way to find an accessible ticket to the Acropolis for the elderly member of our group. Despite being crowded and a rough beginning, we were pleased with the tour guide and the tour.

The guide was amazing and clear on communications and always cared about how I was. He gave me amazing history and hints and tips of how to use my limited 5-6 hr transit window to get the most of this tour. I would do this again as it was worth every penny. Especially Andy the guide who was a natural. He made the experience great!

Tour guide pretty good. Though itinerary listed time allowed at each stop, some was just a quick stop. If you wanted to tour one of the places, one was unable to do so.
Snacks and water were listed as included but had to ask for the water and no snacks available.
We opted for the lunch which was very good but restaurant is 30 minutes away.

Our guide, Kostis, was outstanding. He showed up ahead of time with a clean vehicle. Very personable, knowledgeable and professional. He was very well prepared for our tour and able to make changes on the fly. Also an excellent driver in a difficult driving environment. We couldn't be happier with the experience.

We had a wonderful experience on our Best of Athens private tour with Sebastian. He was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much about the fascinating history and culture of Athens which he obviously loves. Sebastian made everything interesting and easy to understand, bringing the city’s history to life as we explored.
He was friendly, engaging, and happy to answer all of our questions. We learned so much while also having a fun and memorable experience. He also went above and beyond providing ice cold waters, snacks and umbrellas (to shield us from the hot summer sun). At the end of our tour, he provided us links to many restaurants, shops and things to do and see in the area. This tour was definitely the highlight of our time in Athens.

Stam was our tour guide for the Athens tour. He was friendly and provided flexibility in our tour experience. He dropped us at the important sites and we walked through then joined him again for the next site. This worked well since these sites are huge we paced ourselves. He actually made it easy for us. He was also helpful in taking photos. What I enjoyed most is at the end of the tour we were treated to a very tasty authentic Greek lunch at a cozy little restaurant. The waiter greeted us and served several different meals and cold drinks. including dessert. All in all just wonderful. We really needed and appreciated that lunch treat after our visit to the historical sites. Thank you Stam for including that added touch to our day 👌

We loved this tour. First of all, we were picked up at the hotel and returned to the hotel. Nikos was our driver on this tour. He is very knowledgeable about Greek history and Athens. He told us lots of stories about Athens and answered all of our questions. We got to see the change of presidential guards. He explained to us all about their uniforms and what each piece of their uniforms meant. It was very interesting! Nikos took us to the first Olympic stadium and the statue to the first Marathon runner. I don’t remember the names of all places he took us but the ones I mentioned here were the most memorable to us. Then to the Acropolis to see Parthenon. Nikos didn’t go there with us but we were happy to explore on our own. By the way, he supplied us with all the water we needed. And we needed a lot of it since it was a very hot day. We alap bought delicious coconut treats that Nikos suggested and we loved them! After that he took us to dinner where we had a lovely and very tasty dinner. It was “eat all you want” restaurant that came as a part of the tour package, if you buy the option with lunch. He then suggested to take us some other places but we were exhausted from the long overnight flight so we asked him to bring us back to the hotel and he did. Nikos, thank you for a wonderful tour around Athens! We only had 1 day in Athens and it was a perfect tour for us to see many places of Athens in half a day!

This was a wonderful tour, our guide and driver worked together to discuss all the landmarks we passed. We stopped at the Greek Agora and Acropolis (tip to download a free audio guide like Rick Steves Audio because the guides don't come in with you). Watching the changing of the guards was a fascinating experience. We were also taken to some incredible panaramic viewpoints that overlooked the city for sightseeing and photos. Overall this was a fantastic tour of Athens in the perfect amount of time.

There were 6 of us , friends and family taking this tour.
Sebastian was our tour guide and driver. He was a great communicator, making sure we had all the details for our tour. He took us to some interesting places, and provided brief historical details, as needed. We also purchased the entry to the Acropolis and spent an hour within that area, and had a lovely lunch in the city. I had requested meeting at a later time, but Sebastian luckily recommended an earlier starting time, which not only was better due to the heat of the day, but also the areas were not as crowded. His vehicle was clean and comfortable , and he provided plenty of chilled water on this very hot day.

The Athens private half day tour is must for first time visitors to Athens. My tour guide, Andy was outstanding. He provided a wealth of historical knowledge about Athens and Greece that really helped illustrate the significance of the historical locations I visited.
