Itinerary

- No wheelchairs, walkers, nor elevator access available during the tour. Please consider mobility limitations before booking
- Strollers of any kind are not allowed. Kids under 6 are not permitted on this tour.
- Arrive at the designated meeting point 10 minutes before the start time. Our tours depart sharp on time as we have specific entry times reserved for the Acropolis.
- Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes. It is not possible to join our tours after they started. No refunds will be due if you are late.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
- Please wear proper walking shoes. Flipflops, slippers, sandals are not recommended.
- Getting to the meeting spot from the port may need extra time, please consider using the metro. Tours depart with 5 minutes grace period

We saw and learned about all of the buildings on the Acropolis. Our tour guide, Frosso, was Amazing. She had so many details to share with us. It was a crazy windy and crowded day but that didn't deter from our enjoyment of this experience. Frosso was very knowledgeable and also fun. Additionally, she took us through the Acropolis Museum, which wouldn't have been nearly as interesting if we hadn't been with her. She had so much information to share about the things we saw. The museum is spectacular and Frosso made it even more so. We were there the last Sunday of the month and it turns out; public places are free on that Sunday. However, the line to get into the museum was extremely long. I heard some people never made it in. Plus, they didn't have a guide. We cut the line and had no issues (other than the bathrooms are WAY too small to handle all of the people! Only having 2 stalls for the women's room is Ridiculous!) Sign up for this tour so you can make the most of your visit to these two spectacular sites!
Please arrive hungry for this excellent tour. We made the mistake of having a small breakfast beforehand and were having to pass up some of the delicious and interesting foods on offer.
Myrtia ( not sure of spelling) was our excellent guide and made the whole experience fun and personal.
Our guide was Frossa and she was fantastic. She is an academic and understood the history very well. She communicated very well as her command of English is excellent. It was an early start but was a good thing as the line for the Acropolis museum was extremely long by the afternoon. Well worth it IMO!!!
Excellent. The guide was the best in my extensive similar experiences.
The only minuses: one person’s ticket was messed up leading to unnecessary delay for all. Secondly, the meeting point should give a landmark which is easy to spot.

Our guide was fantastic! She shared great insights about the Acropolis and Greek history. The cost of a guided tour was definitely worth it. I recommend you wear sturdy sneakers because the stone paths near the site are slippery. I saw 4 people slip on the stones. The museum visit was a great addition because we got to see the actual ancient artifacts.
Very knowledgeable and interesting tour guide. Each spot we stopped along the way to the top, she had interesting facts. She waited for those who were slower to climb to the top of the Acropolis. She kept us away from the huge tour groups and we were able to hear everything. When we went to the museum, she knew the best spots to see. Great tour.
What can a person say about History! This tour was just amazing! We saw things and heard the stories of times long past! It’s quite amazing, you have to go and see it in person because words can never explain it like your own eyes! Mind blowing!

A very informative tour, taking the easier walking routes despite the masses of tourists around, even on the 1600 tour. A lot of history to cover as well as a lot of steps in an engaging three hours.

Great tour and wonderful guide. She was super knowledgeable and especially patient with our children.
Our tour had 9 people, as opposed to many of the large tour groups we walked past. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience feel intimate by her story telling. The volume at which she spoke was perfect and the pace of the tour was also perfect. Never a boring lull, but not too fast. Enough time to take everything in. We loved it more than we thought we would and thank Maria for the day!

Wow what a fantastic experience. Our guide was so knowledgeable of all the history of the Acropolis & Athenian history. Definitely recommend this tour.
The terrain is uneven and there are few places to rest or shade. We saw many older folks struggling. Bring water hat or umbrella. That said our guide Frosso was super.

The walking is challenging
We learned so much! I cannot imagine touring the Acropolis or the museum without a guide. She was informative, interesting, and very kind. Her pace for our mixed age was perfect even though we did an enormous amount of climbing and walking. She made sure to provide times for photos and for staying in the shade for her talks as we progressed through this beautiful area.
The guide, Alexandra, I believe, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Athens and Acropolis history and artifacts.

We went in the rain. It was very slippery. Even with good walking shoes, be careful. Crowds were, as expected, overwhelming. Our guide had information about procedures as well as historical highlights. Plan on spending more time at the museum after the tour. There is a lot to see.
Efrossi (?) was a great tour guide. We have taken a tour of the Acropolis 3 times and this was, by far, the best! Her English was excellent, her attitude infectious and her knowledge impressive.
Petros was an amazing tour guide. He was friendly, accomodating, and thorough. He provided great explanations of Greek history with is own perspective on certain matters, such as the detail of carvings that would not ever be visible to the public. He was sensitive to all ages of the group and gave us plenty of time to ascend the acropolis. My daughter is 12 and found the tour engaging. Make sure you have your walkiing shoes and enough water if going during the summer months, as it does get warm. Highly recommend!
Well worth the money! Our guide shared so many things we never would have known otherwise. She also told us where the best photo shots are. It was a great tour with lots of info and no issues with hearing or anything. Both the Acropolis and the Museum were more meaningful with our guide.
Our tour guide was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable and informative yet able to weave a great story. You need to be able to navigate stairs.
Our guide was wonderful. Her explanation of the history, both on the Acropolis and in the museum was clear and concise. She gave us plenty of time to walk around on our own and take pictures at different locations in the tours.
