Itinerary

- No wheelchairs, walkers, nor elevator access available during the tour. Please consider mobility limitations before booking
- Strollers of any kind are not allowed. Kids under 6 are not permitted on this tour.
- Arrive at the designated meeting point 10 minutes before the start time. Our tours depart sharp on time as we have specific entry times reserved for the Acropolis.
- Tickets are timed and expire within 5 to 10 minutes. It is not possible to join our tours after they started. No refunds will be due if you are late.
- Tips/gratuities (for your guide) are always appreciated.
- Please wear proper walking shoes. Flipflops, slippers, sandals are not recommended.
- Getting to the meeting spot from the port may need extra time, please consider using the metro. Tours depart with 5 minutes grace period

The terrain is uneven and there are few places to rest or shade. We saw many older folks struggling. Bring water hat or umbrella. That said our guide Frosso was super.
Definitely include the museum!! So worth it!

The walking is challenging
We learned so much! I cannot imagine touring the Acropolis or the museum without a guide. She was informative, interesting, and very kind. Her pace for our mixed age was perfect even though we did an enormous amount of climbing and walking. She made sure to provide times for photos and for staying in the shade for her talks as we progressed through this beautiful area.
The guide, Alexandra, I believe, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Athens and Acropolis history and artifacts.

We went in the rain. It was very slippery. Even with good walking shoes, be careful. Crowds were, as expected, overwhelming. Our guide had information about procedures as well as historical highlights. Plan on spending more time at the museum after the tour. There is a lot to see.
Efrossi (?) was a great tour guide. We have taken a tour of the Acropolis 3 times and this was, by far, the best! Her English was excellent, her attitude infectious and her knowledge impressive.
Petros was an amazing tour guide. He was friendly, accomodating, and thorough. He provided great explanations of Greek history with is own perspective on certain matters, such as the detail of carvings that would not ever be visible to the public. He was sensitive to all ages of the group and gave us plenty of time to ascend the acropolis. My daughter is 12 and found the tour engaging. Make sure you have your walkiing shoes and enough water if going during the summer months, as it does get warm. Highly recommend!
Well worth the money! Our guide shared so many things we never would have known otherwise. She also told us where the best photo shots are. It was a great tour with lots of info and no issues with hearing or anything. Both the Acropolis and the Museum were more meaningful with our guide.
Our tour guide was absolutely amazing. So knowledgeable and informative yet able to weave a great story. You need to be able to navigate stairs.
Our guide was wonderful. Her explanation of the history, both on the Acropolis and in the museum was clear and concise. She gave us plenty of time to walk around on our own and take pictures at different locations in the tours.

The tour was very informative and our guide Maria made it interesting, had sense of humor and was fun.
Our guide was so knowledgeable. It's obvious that she is proud of her Greek heritage. The tour gave us great views and information about the Acropolis and the museum.
We had the 8am tour for the Acropolis and museum and were lucky to have Frosso as our guide. She was so informative, friendly and fun and gave ample time for photos and exploring. She made the history of Greece engaging and my husband and I felt we learned a lot. We had a wonderful tour and highly recommend especially with Frosso!
This is a great way to experience the Acropolis and museum. The guide (who was amazing) knows where to take you for the best pictures and the commentary is extremely informative. You will miss a lot if you go on your own. Definitely worth the price. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of climbing some is on slippery surfaces. Also bring water!
Be ready to walk a steady pace over inclined and sometimes slippery path. Guides are very knowledgeable and fun but accustomed to walking up hills
Very informative and engaging tour guide. She obviously knows what she is talking about because she herself is an archeologist. The wall up the Acropolis was easy and we chose the best season and early morning time when the temperature is perfect. After the tour at the Acropolis she quided us back down into the Acropolis Museum which is a must to complete the information and visually see the relics from the Acropolis site where they put in there to protect from degradation.
Out guide Maria was GREAT! very informative, knew everyone's name, answered all questions, looked out for the entire group like family
Went on tour (Walks in Europe) of the Acropolis, the group departed at 8am on 9/14. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable, smart, friendly and knew just where to take us to better navigate the crowds. I apologize for not remembering her name, but she was great. The weather was near perfect, so that helped. Another highlight was the guided tour of the museum with the same tour guide. We learned so much on this 3 hour tour.

The tour was interesting and moved at a slow/manageable pace. We went at 4pm and although it was hot, we took plenty of breaks in the shade. The earpieces worked super well. The museum was cool and beautiful, but not 100% necessary, although it was nice to end in the air conditioning.
Our guide was knowledgeable, kept us engaged, attended to our needs and questions, and shared a lot of history in an interesting manner.
Our guide Elina was excellent. She had a clear command of the subject, and an interest and enthusiasm that was infectious. Adeptly led the 14-person group.
A wonderful way to see all about the Acropolis and the museum. Having a guide is so helpful in getting the full benefit. Our guide, Lisa, was so very good. Clear, personable, and most of all knowledgeable. A lot of context, but not overwhelming.
The guide left without us and 5 other unrelated couples. We were all there desperately searching for our group amongst the chaos of so many tour groups until nobody was left and we found each other. Complaints to the tour company were dismissed as my fault for not being there. You'd think a tour guide missing 10 guests would make an effort to find them. I'll dispute the charge with my credit card company and of course not recommend it use this your company again

Unfortunately, you all followed one couple to an incorrect meeting point and waited there! We called and made every effort to guide you to the correct location, but with no success.
We are sorry this happened. However, the meeting point was clearly stated in the booking confirmation, and had you waited at the correct location, you would have been able to join the tour without any issue.
It was a great experience. I’m ashamed to admit I forgot our guides name but she was absolutely lovely and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.
This was the most perfect tour we’ve ever had in the world. And made by the BEST Tour guide we’ve ever had - Frossina was absolutely perfect and excellent historical knowledge. She was very conscious of giving the tour group plenty of rest breaks in shady areas.
We cannot recommend this tour and tour guide more highly than absolutely perfect! A must do for everyone visiting Athens and the Acropolis! Can’t go wrong with Viator!!!
