This was a fantastic tour of the Acropolis! Alex was very knowledgeable in Greek mythology and provided a lot of great historical information. He was very patient and we were very pleased with our tour!

We took a two-hour walking tour in Athens with our guide, Alexandros Aslanidis, and it was excellent. The tour was very interesting.
Alexandros was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable, presenting the information in an engaging and accessible way.
Although the tour focused on the Acropolis, it also provided a great understanding of the broader history of Greece. Highly recommended.

This was an amazing tour. Alex, our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the various myths, history, and connections to languages and cultures around the world.
He was also extremely engaging with our two kids. They had so much fun listening to his storytelling and the ways he presented the myths and history, they couldn’t believe it had been 4 hours.

Fantastic tour! The Athens & Acropolis Highlights small-group experience truly brought Greek mythology to life. Kali, our guide, was knowledgeable and engaging, and the stories added so much depth and meaning to visiting the Acropolis and Agora. The agency was also extremely helpful with arranging our entrance tickets — everything was well organized and clearly explained. The small group size was a big plus, as it allowed plenty of time to ask questions and really engage with the guide. It wasn’t inexpensive, but it was absolutely worth the money. Highly recommended!

Informative, friendly, small group during off-season. It was worth getting a tour for this site and learning all the extra context. Our guide had many printed photos and visual aids to help describe the historical appearance of the site.

You just cannot go wrong with Viator. This was another excursion that was affordable and infinitely pleasurable. Irene was our tour guide and since we are off-season, it was only my husband and myself for the tour. Irene is a wonderful teacher and tour guide who breaks things down to understandable terms and asked questions which was helpful for cementing all of the information that she imparted. I’ve done many chores through Viator, and they have never disappointed. I cannot recommend them enough.

We toured the Acropolis and agora with an exceptional guide. Athena clearly had a personal connection to the subject matter. Learning the mythology connections made the experience far more memorable. We were very fortunate to have her as our guide.

Lovely and well paced tour, and my guide, Irene/Irini, was a font of knowledge about each of the sites we visited. Very personable and fun to talk with between stops, and she was very attentive to making sure everyone was doing well and able to rest if they needed to.

A tour is only as good as the guide. Dani was phenomenal! So much knowledge, well paced, kept the group together as much as possible without causing blockage to others. Also frequently tested our own knowledge of the Gods. Having studied mythology many many years ago i was pleased that my memory was still reasonably intact. But, Dani always had just a little bit more to add that we were not aware of. If we were to do it again, Dani would be our choice for a guide.

Moderate amount of walking and stairs to climb over Uneven surfaces. Wear good walking shoes, water and hat is a must. Our tour guide Michael was fantastic. Easy to understand, Michael had great stories intertwining Greek Mythology and early Greek life. Michael made the climb in small stages, stopping frequently to talk about points of interest. Seeing The Parthenon and other ruins made the climb worthwhile!! Amazing architecture and unbelievable beauty. You will not be disappointed.
