My husband and I really enjoyed our tour of the acropolis. Our tour guide was very passionate about Greek history and she connected the popular mythology stories to viewing the acropolis. She did a great job slowly taking us up to the top and stopping where there was shade to make the crowds and the heat more tolerable as well. I would definitely recommend this tour and having a tour in general as I wouldn’t have known much about what we were seeing without the tour.
Excellent tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Cognizant of the physical challenges of climbing to this experience.
It was a great tour with the guide. She is very knowledgeable and friendly. Only issue we had the weather , afternoon tour probably is not the best due to weather during our visit time (October).
Fantastic tour. Very well designed. At the end you just don’t want it to conclude. Highly recommend!

This was such an incredible tour! Our guide Maria was wonderful. She shared interesting mythology throughout the tour, went at a great pace, and was super friendly. She even took time at the end of the tour to give us all recommendations for the rest of our time in Athens. My friend went on this tour a few years ago and recommended it to me, and I would highly recommend this for anyone interested in touring these sites, it really added so much to the experience that I wouldn’t have gotten on a self-directed tour.
Excellent tour! Loved the focus on mythology and our guide had lots of good information to help interpret what we were seeing. I would have brought a snack with me as there was a lot of walking. Would recommend!
Excellent tour, hosted by a very knowledgeable and professional guide.
Be aware that it is a steep climb with thousands of people and almost as many trip hazards.
Disappointed. Unable to take part in this tour due to confusion over ticket times to Acropolis .these tickets should be included in the tour (not separately) to avoid any confusion.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience.
We would just like to clarify that, as clearly stated in our tour description, Acropolis entrance tickets are not included in the tour price and need to be purchased separately.
When your booking was made on 12 June, we contacted you to make sure you were aware of this and offered our assistance with purchasing the tickets. You advised us that you would purchase them yourself, and we also provided the correct meeting time and advised you that the appropriate Acropolis entry time was 09:00. Unfortunately, the tickets you purchased independently were for 11:00.
We’re very sorry that this resulted in an inconvenience for you. From our side, we made every effort to provide the necessary information and assistance before the tour, and we regret that despite this, your experience did not meet your expectations.

Our guide Kimon was excellent !! He made the 4 he walking tour feel like a breeze and conveyed the history of every historical monument we saw as memorable and very engaging stories! Highly recommend!
Our tour guide Athena was incredibly knowledgable and provided plenty of context for the significance of each spot we visited. Great way to learn about the rise and fall of Athens. My only advice would be that it’s a bit long (4 hrs) for anyone who might tire easily from all the walking. It was a wonderful but exhausting day.

This is a great way to learn about Greek Mythology and see the Acropolis and Agora. Our tour guide was amazing. 10/10 experience. Do it!
Our tour guide, Helen, was outstanding! She is very knowledgeable about the Parthenon area as well as the entire Acropolis area.
Helen was good about responding to questions from our group. She gave us great historical background of the places we saw as well as presenting various myths and legends from ancient Greeks.
We highly recommend Helen!
Our guide was very personable and knowledgeable. She gave time to get pictures and explore a little on own. Also was very aware of heat and made sure everyone had water and shade spots along the tour.
Tour guide Michael's knowledge of Greek mythology was encyclopedic: every story and legend came alive as he wove them into the history around us. Michael paced the climb up the Acropolis beautifully, building in plenty of shaded stops so the heat never became unbearable, which made a huge difference on a challenging walk. His sense of humor kept things light and engaging throughout, and he struck the perfect balance between sharing information and giving us free time to take it all in. Couldn't have asked for a better guide!
Christina was incredible!! She was so knowledgeable and made the tour so fun. It was very hot and she gave us lots of breaks to cool down while she explained the history and showed us photos. Would highly recommend this tour - particularly for anyone with an interest in mythology as the tour was definitely focused on the mythology history for each sight.
We had a wonderful experience with Eleni! Very informative and a great way to see the major sights. I’ve been to most of the places in the past, but without a guide and felt like this was a MUCH better way to go.
There are so many options for Acropolis guided tour but I picked this tour as this tour is the set of Acropolis and Ancient Agora and focuses on Greek mythology. All other tours are the set of Acropolis and museum. We were very lucky to have Alex as our guide as he has postgraduate degrees in Archaeology and full of passion and knowledge in ancient Greek history. It would be great if he can do guided tour for Acropolis museum in future!
The tour was long and hot with very little shade or resting areas. The tour guide Kalli was great though! She’s very passionate about the mythology and information she was giving us. She could be more aware of her audience as some in the group were struggling with the heat. There were times there were shade options near the locations she stopped to tell us information but didn’t move us to the shade.
Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at the Parthenon, but nothing to do with the tour or guide. We were taking a picture of our little travel stuffed animal that goes everywhere with us, and a security lady blew a loud whistle and was yelling at us causing a big scene as she enforced a supposed rule that was not posted anywhere, no signage, or told to us by anyone. We were not doing anything wrong like touching anything, or standing in an area closed off to tourists. She was enforcing a rule that she likely made up. Even if it was an actual rule, she could have handled it professionally and QUIETLY without causing a scene. Obviously we didn’t know of the rule or we wouldn’t have done it. A calm approach and telling us the picture was not allowed would have been more appropriate. She even forced me to delete all my pictures and clear them off all locations on my phone. This was unacceptable and should be reported, or signage or even printed a rule book should be given to all visitors at the entrance if they are going to enforce dumb rules.

We were, however, a little surprised by the two-star rating, as the main concern mentioned in your review relates to the Acropolis security staff and site regulations, which are outside the control of our company and guide.

We had a fantastic time on this tour with our extremely knowledgeable guide! He shared so much information with us about ancient and current day Greece, with honesty and depth I did not expect. He has two masters degrees and was a practicing archaeologist and it was very apparent during our time together. This was my husband and I’s favorite activity we did in Athens by a mile and would recommend it to everyone coming through the city!
Super fun half day experience and our guide, Rania, was the best! We ended up getting a little lost to the meeting point so I called the customer line and they immediately responded and told us to meet the group at the acropolis entrance instead since we were close and to meet the group there to avoid missing the entry time to the site. They had great communication and sent us a message with a picture of our guide so we could find her easily and a map link to where we will meet them. We met them easy then and go to rejoin the group without any stress. Be prepared for lots of walking but it is 1000% worth it for the beautiful historic sites
Great tour! I was on the fence about purchasing because I was open to doing this solo but I’m so glad I did! The guide was incredible and I learned so much. I love the way he tied in the Greek mythology with his archeology knowledge. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and made the entire experience amazing.
