Long day but really enjoyable! Maria was an excellent guide - very knowledgable about Mycenae. Kept us on track - lovely guided tour of Nafplion & yummy lunch. Highly recommend this tour.
Marie_B, Apr 2026
April 2nd 2026. The guide was great! He talked to us in the bus and on the sites in details about Greece in general and the three cities, explained everything about history/politics and what we were looking at. He was perfect!
For Nafplio (Nauplie), we were left on our own, but didn’t have enough time to visit any of the castles on the hill. I can’t comment on the restaurants, because I had brought my lunch. The meeting point at the end should have been an address instead of an unnamed city square, because I could not trace it on Google Maps.
Britt_R, Mar 2026
Our guide was very educated about the places we went and friendly, telling us where we were going and how it was significant. Very enjoyable day trip. Highly recommended!
Stephen_P, Mar 2026
George was a great host, fun and informative. The sites exceeded expectations. It is a day we'll spent

Our guide Katarina was amazing! She is so knowledgeable and I learned so much throughout the day. Was taking lots of notes while also taking in the sites and locations. Great stops planned, amazing experiences. I don't have one complaint at all. It was fantastic and I highly recommend everyone experience this tour.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you so much for your wonderful review, Shannon!
We’re absolutely delighted to hear that you had such a fantastic day exploring Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Nafplion. It’s especially great to know that Katarina made such a strong impression—her knowledge and passion truly make the experience special.
We love that you were both fully engaged and inspired throughout the tour (taking notes is the best compliment we could ask for!). Thank you for your kind recommendation—it truly means a lot.
We hope to welcome you back for another memorable experience in Greece soon!
Best Regards,
KeyTours team

Seems a long day, but the stops are spread out evenly and the drive, once you get out of Athens, is a delight in itself. We had an excellent guide, George, whose English was brilliant and who mixed information and amusing anecdotes to make the trip enjoyable. The combination of sites covered a wide range of historical periods and locations and the lunch break at Napflion was terrific.
One suggestion: we passed some other wonderful places (Acrocorinth, New Epidavros and St Paul's landing place for example) where a brief stop for photographs would have been appreciated, rather than trying to grab a picture out of the coach window.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you very much for your detailed and thoughtful review, Edward!
We’re delighted to hear that you found the day trip worthwhile and enjoyable from start to finish. It’s great to know that George made such a positive impression with his knowledge, storytelling, and sense of humor—he’ll be very happy to hear your kind words. We’re also glad you enjoyed the variety of historical sites and your time in Nafplion.
Thank you as well for your helpful suggestion regarding additional photo stops. We truly appreciate feedback like this, as it helps us continue improving the experience for our guests.
We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again on another memorable journey in Greece!
Best Regards,
KeyTours team

Awesome tour guide, great knowledge and stories. Kept big group on time. Cool sites! There is no need to buy the package with tickets into sites, they seem to upcharge. You can buy them on site for less, and you have to pay for tickets to the theater anyway. At least for us, they were not for a specific time slot like they suggest in the description of tour. There is no guided tour for Mycenae museum, though the description makes it seem that way. We had fun in Nafplio by ourselves without lunch, we got a quick bite and had a chance to walk around.
Kanella_D, Mar 2026
First of all, make sure you have knowledge about the historical facts as this tour is not well guided. Maybe it was the tour guide herself that lacked organization. She was nice(Katerina), however it lacked insight on meeting points and time. My husband and I were always late to get on the bus because we took our time exploring.
I would suggest to take the audio guided tour rather than this one...it should not be offered in my opinion.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Dear Kanella,
Thank you for your comment.
Group tours follow a clearly defined schedule that is communicated by the guide throughout the day so that all participants can visit each destination included in the itinerary. Respecting the meeting points and departure times is essential for the tour to operate properly for the entire group.
As you mention in your review, you and your husband were late returning to the bus because you chose to take more time exploring. In this case, the issue is not related to the organization of the tour but to not following the scheduled timing that was provided.
We would also like to emphasize that our guides, including Katerina, are professionals with extensive experience guiding archaeological tours. Managing large groups while delivering historical information and keeping the schedule on track requires significant coordination and professionalism.
Travelers who prefer to explore completely at their own pace may find a private or self-guided visit more suitable than a structured group tour.
Kind regards,
The Keytours Team
Breshna_S, Mar 2026
Cristina from Key Tours is not a good guide. She is knowledgeable but did not give enough time at the archeological sites . She also gave very little instructions on where to go inside the archeological sites . For the Mycenea it says on the schedule 1 hour and 20 min and she only gave us 55 min the other one she only gave us an hour. The tour feel rushed even though it’s closer to Athens than Meteora and when I went to Meteora with another company I felt I had all the time . Cristina needs to work on her customer service skills and overall the tour feels rushed at least with her.
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Dear Breshna_S,
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
This tour includes several major sites in a single day — Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Nafplion — and the schedule is carefully planned so that all participants can visit each destination while allowing time for guided explanations and free exploration. The timing at each stop may occasionally vary slightly depending on traffic conditions, site congestion, or operational needs in order to keep the tour running smoothly for the entire group.
We would also like to note that our guides, including Cristina, are professionals with extensive knowledge of the archaeological sites visited. Managing a full-day itinerary while coordinating large groups requires careful timing so that all scheduled stops can be completed.
We appreciate your comments and thank you for joining our tour.
Kind regards,
The Keytours Team

Very full day that felt a bit rushed as tours usually do but you do see a lot . I had prepurchased park tickets and forgot and bought again at entrance before tour guide got to me and then unable to get a refund...perhaps the tour guide should hand them out before getting off the bus , its easy to forget when you book several tours at once in advance.
Randall_L, Feb 2026
Katarina was a good guide providing information on the Corinth Canal, and Mycenae and Epidaurus archaeological sights, along the way to each site. She also gave us an informative walking tour of Nafplion where we had an hour on our own.
klcayer, Feb 2026
Katrina was an amazing guide! She was very knowledgeable and very friendly. She was considerate of the weather and was willing to omit the one part, but no one seemed to mind the rain. Highly recommend.
James_B, Feb 2026
Bring a bottle of water There is none available on the bus. Skip the lunch in Naphlion. Buy a sandwich from a shop.
Tihomir_C, Jan 2026
A lovely experience. There is much to see and time is sufficient, so everything can be seen. Be mindful to return to the bus on schedule, at each sightseeing stop.
Response from Host, Jan 2026
Thank you very much, Tihomir, for your kind review!
We’re delighted to hear that you found the experience lovely and that the timing at each stop allowed you to see everything comfortably. Thank you as well for highlighting the importance of returning to the bus on schedule; that’s very helpful advice for future travelers and helps the day run smoothly for everyone.
We truly appreciate you joining us on this tour and hope to welcome you again on another journey through Greece!
Warm regards,
The KeyTours Team
Debasis_D, Dec 2025
This is a combination tour of 4 places, starting with Corinth canal and then driving down city and view of Corinth acropolis at distance. Then Mycenae. Third location is a beautiful Venetian town of Nafplio and finally Epidaurus the center of healing. For me Nafplio was best, then Epidaurus. For myself, Mycenae was not so interesting but Corinth canal joining Agean and Ionian seas was very interesting.
Gail_G, Dec 2025
It's a well thought out and managed day, with information provided extremely well by the leader. It's quite a long day but we'll worth it.
Kathy_k, Dec 2025
It’s a long day. There is much to see and learn while on this tour. Not enough time to read provided informational signs at the various site. If you want to know more, take a picture. I was there in December and Mycenae was a little chilly and windy, so dress accordingly. Nafplion has a nice Old Town with many shops. If you aren’t interested in shopping, the promenade along the water is nice. The Epidaurus archeological site is very interesting; unfortunately we spent too much time in Nafplion and not enough at this site. We didn’t have time to see either museum (Macenae or Epidaurus).
Lattimer_J, Dec 2025
The tour was off-season, so it was small which was nice. Although they advertise 2 hours at each of 3 stops (Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Naflion, we actually only got 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours at each, which wasn't quite enough. The tour guide was excellent with lots of pertinent information. The tour ad suggested the middle-priced tour included admissions, but only admission to Mycenae was included and not Epidaurus. We would take this tour or others from the operator again.
NOMAN_S, Dec 2025
Deceptive pricing and overcharging
Without ticket, it was $51. Added ticket of 20 Euro and price jumped to $116 (40 Euros)? Double than original ticket price for nothing?
A great trip made bad by ticket price scam.
Rajashekar_P, Dec 2025
Mycenae tour was good. It was a long drive stopped at Corinth Canal. Walking in Nafplion was interesting. Epidaurus was a waste of 20 Euros. We had Samadhi as our driver he is goid drove safely.
Our guide Alma was ws ok.
David_F, Nov 2025
Katerina and the driver are very nice people
Monuments are very interesting
The theatre in Epidauro was amazing and the micenas without Words

Anthony_P, Nov 2025
Katerina was a good guide, with a nice loud voice and interesting commentary. She organised the group well, though with a full coachload it's hard to avoid a few stragglers slowing up the day. Today this meant we had less time than ideal at Epidavros. Mycenae was interesting, especially as it's so much older than places like the Parthenon. The stop for Greek products (wine, olive oil, honey etc) in Mycenae village is a good idea, but we were too many people to all crowd into a small shop. The restaurant for lunch had a nice setting outside on the quay, and the dessert (cake with some sort of syrup) was nice. The pickup and drop off arrangements were fine, and Theodore drove well. Weather was sunny, and overall it was a very pleasant day
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Dear Anthony,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review of your day trip to Mycenae, Epidaurus, and Nafplion. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the tour overall and that the sunny weather helped make the experience even more pleasant.
We’re glad that Katerina’s guiding, organization, and commentary added to your day, and that you felt well taken care of by both her and Theodore. It’s also wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the scenic lunch stop and the dessert!
Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you on another tour in the future!

Leslie_S, Nov 2025
We took an English tour to some ruins. There is a lot of history along the way and we were disappointed as to the lack of information provided. We passed a castle and lots of olive trees. When asked the guide said “I’ll explain that in a bit”. He then chatted about the grapes and wine but not the trees. There is so much history and we wound up googling a lot ourselves.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Dear Leslie,
Thank you for sharing your feedback.
Every guide has their own personal style of presenting history, and during our tours information is often given in structured sections at specific points of the itinerary. Sometimes this means certain topics are addressed a little later in the tour sequence rather than immediately when passing by.
We fully appreciate your interest in the historical elements along the route, and we are glad that you were engaged and curious during the experience. Your comments are noted and will be taken into consideration as we continuously refine the way information is delivered.
We hope we may have the opportunity to welcome you back on another tour in the future.
Warm regards,
KeyTours Team

A most beautiful places to know and their history, pleasant tour guide, Nafplio a great place to be. Lunch was not great.
Response from Host, Nov 2025
Dear Walter,
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your review. We’re truly happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour, the stunning historical sites, and the charm of Nafplio. It’s wonderful that our guide helped make the experience even more enjoyable.
Regarding the lunch, we’re sorry to hear it wasn’t to your personal taste. We would like to mention that the restaurant we collaborate with is a well-established local venue known for its traditional Greek dishes and consistent quality. Many guests appreciate the authenticity of the menu and the effort they put into preparing fresh, home-style meals. Of course, we understand that preferences vary, and we will continue to monitor guest feedback to ensure a positive experience for everyone.
Thank you again for joining us—your feedback is truly appreciated, and we hope to welcome you on another tour in the future.
Warm regards,
KeyTours team

Do lunch on your own. Otherwise we enjoyed all the sights. Had to pay 20 euros to enter one sight. **
Matthew_B, Oct 2025
It was an excellent historical tour that hit all the main items. With plenty of free time to hit the other sites you wanted to do.
Yelena_M, Oct 2025
Ordered tickets for ALL activities and paid for them, but at Epidaurus did not get tickets and must pay 60 euro in addition. Also lunch was awful. Do not buy it. The rest was good.
Time in Nafplion was not even close to see the city.
Joseph_N, Oct 2025
I went on the September 26 tour. George was a very good guide!
I wish we had more time to explore Mycenae and Epidaurus.
Hank_W, Oct 2025
My wife was very interested in the life of St. Paul and this was an excellent tour to see where St. Paul was in Athens and Corinthia. Giorgios, our guide, provided an excellent explanation of St. Paul's journey through Greece and made this a very memorable trip! Although the private tour is a bit more expensive, being with him in a very comfortable, Mercedes-Benz E class was worth every bit. We were able to get right to the main locations very easily, and Giorgios provided excellent tips and background. This was our last day in Greece and it was an excellent way for us to finish our vacation. I highly recommend this tour!
Response from Host, Oct 2025
Dear Hank,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your wife enjoyed your tour following the footsteps of St. Paul. Giorgios will be delighted to know his knowledge and guidance made your experience so memorable. We’re glad the comfort of your private tour added to the enjoyment of your final day in Greece. Your recommendation means a lot to us, and we hope to welcome you back for more discoveries in the future!
