The itinerary was very good. Our guide Bernie was amazing. Would probably had been great with another guide too. But he made it perfect. Lunch was amazing. We added lunch in the spot ala carte and were accommodated easily. Arochova was also a highlight. I thought it would be boring but was amazing
Perfect day! Bernie, our guide, was very knowledgeable, kind, and friendly. We learned a ton both en route and at Dephi. Trip was smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend!

It’s was a long day but we had a wonderful guide and enjoyed the experience immensely.
We had the tour with lunch and the restaurant did a great job of providing a quick and efficient lunch.
Lunch was a little later than we normally eat in North America. Lunch was as well 330 pm and I recommend planning accordingly.
The tour included a stop on the way to and a stop on the way from Delphi.
The bus was comfortable and our guide was very informative.

It is well organised and worth the long period on the coach. The trip out we were kept entertained with information on the way back we were able to nap. The coach was comfortable, no toilets but stops were planned to ensure comfort.
The scenery there and back was stunning.
The tour of the museum was great, it would have been nice to have been a smaller group as the rooms were small. Without the tour guide it would not have been as interesting. We felt we would have liked more time at Delphi maybe even just 30 minutes.
We were a little disappointed by the lunch and would prefer to have bought our own.

Way cheaper on booking .com a third the price .
Guide was blah and boring . Nice person but lacked oomph . No jokes very matter of a fact .
Experience was okay nothing special .
Something to see once but would not go on this particular tour again .
We had a scorching hot day at Delphi seeing the well-kept Temple of Apollo! Our guide was great at answering our questions along with keeping us all wrangled together and safe.
My only tip: Don't eat at the taverna that the tour goes to for lunch, it is so overpriced and very average. If you walk a bit further down the road you'll have more options!

Very good, thorough tour with an expert guide. Seeing the countryside on the way to the site is a plus. Delphi site and museum are memories that will last a lifetime. As is typical with tours in Greece, there are a lot of steps and uneven pavement. Views are amazing. I recommend adding the lunch to your itinerary. Having lunch, which was very good, in incredibly picturesque Arachova was an unexpected bonus.

If you have issues with your knees or other problems walking you will have trouble doing the archelogical site. Steep steps with no handrails.
The rest of the trip was great. The guide, Angelina (hope I spelles it right), is very sweet, knowledgable and funny. Makes you feel comfortable from the start (A+++ for her). Everything was great and Inlearned alot.

Great guide, very knowledgeable. Was nice to go round the museum first where you got a better idea of the site.
Beware the lunch option if you have kids (reason I dropped a star), options are all adult based, my child ate a slice of bread! Would have been better to buy separately. The service is also too quick, they gave us our mains 5 mins after our starters. Obviously been told to get us out quick but we had over an hour so plenty of time to eat at a slower pace.

The tour was great. Our tour guide was excellent! He explained everything clearly and answered our questions. We chose the option that included lunch. The food was ok, and since we didn't have to look for options, we had time to walk around town a bit. But there are other options to eat.

Since Delphi is in ruins, detailed commentary necessary to make sense of place.
Suggest end of tour should be at the theater and not just stops below.

Long day, but overall it was worth it! Delphi is an amazing gem in Greece. You see different landscapes on the ride there and back, and John the Archeologist provided lots of information about Greek history.

Excellent visit with wonderful guided tour by Eva. Learned a lot and was grateful to see the museum and archaeological site. It would have been impossible to do on our own from Athens. Bus service was well organized and convenient with wifi onboard. Stop in Arachova was memorable.

What a great day! A wonderful drive through the mainland with a knowledgeable guide (Kiki) putting everything into context. The archaeological site was amazing and Kiki was wonderful both there and inside the museum.

We travelled in August because we got a ridiculously great deal on air and hotel. I have lived in southern Arizona and south Florida so the heat was easily manageable. That said, if you’re not used to temperatures in the upper 90’s Fahrenheit, visit on the shoulder seasons.
Our guide was perfect for us. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and thorough. She ensured that we all got the most out of the day.
Recommendations: when comfortable quality shoes are recommended-bring and wear them - this place is not for shoes with open toes, when they suggest that you bring/purchase water - do it, trust me it is not a scam, you WILL need it. The climb up requires a level of fitness and mobility so if you have challenges in this regard, you should probably plan to enjoy the on-site museum only.
The transportation to/from was convenient, comfortable and pleasant.
We pre-purchased the lunch - it is about average for what is available unless you bring your own with you. We enjoyed it, but it was not memorable even though the restaurant staff were very friendly, gracious and attentive.

I was worried this would be too long a trip. It was fabulous. Explanations and descriptions of Greek mythology and history the entire day in a delightful way. The museum and Delphi visit were great. The topping was the delicious lunch after the visit. Anastasia was a superb guide! .

The tour was amazing!! I loved how knowledgeable our guide was about the history and stories of not only Delphi and Arachova, but also the cities and villages on the way to Delphi from Athens such as the runner from Marathon and the Sphinx of Thebes. She gave us wonderful insight on what the ancient people would do while making their pilgrimage to Delphi and how the site used to function in the ancient days. While we toured the museum, she gave us amazing insight on the relics that were on display and really brought to life on how the ancient people’s lives were around Delphi. We had also timed our departure from Arachova perfectly as we encountered that once in a lifetime summer storm while heading back to Athens. Our guide and driver did everything necessary to reassure all the passengers on board the bus and keep everyone calm and engaged. Her professionalism and the driver’s skills ensured we all returned to Athens safely. Even during the rough storm outside, she continued to tell us the history and myths of the nearby areas and kept all passengers engaged. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience the beauty of Central Greece, the Parnassus Mountains, and extremely friendly and hospitable locals from Arachova.

The tour was great, started promptly and our guide was very knowledgeable. I think the time we spent was just enough. A great full day trip, but we managed to get back in town/Athens to have enough time to stroll and have a nice dinner. Delphi is beautiful and lots of history to learn. Our stop by the near town was also a treat!

We had such a fun day visiting Delphi! We toured the museum and then walked through the archaeological site. It was incredibly hot in July, but it was definitely worth it. The walk to the stadium was strenuous especially in the heat but I’m glad we saw it. The drive was worth it to see the mountains along the way.
We also stopped in Arachova, which is a charming mountain/ski town. We had a delicious lunch and had about 30 minutes to walk around, shop, and take it all in after lunch. Try the local cheese. There are some local shops near the Taverna where you can pick up some unique local souvenirs and treats.
Our guide, John the Archeologist , was amazing. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a charismatic personality. You could tell he truly loves what he does, and that made the whole experience even more enjoyable.💙

There are plenty of bathroom stops and brakes along the way. It’s about a 3 Hour Dr. but it’s beautiful and you get a lot of the history. At the end of the tour you get time to explore on your own, which was great! Our guide was the best.
